Description

[0001] Technical field

[0002] The invention relates to the field of production of glued structures and can be used for the manufacture of decorative wall materials, roof covering elements, suspended and suspended ceilings, joinery and furniture panels.

[0003] Technology Level

[0004] A prior art disclosure relates to a "Method for Manufacturing a Molded Wooden Panel for Decorative Coatings" (Patent CN1043623C), which is used to produce panels for protecting and decorating the surfaces of furniture, walls, columns, or other objects, even if said surfaces are curved or have different planes. The panel has a flexible or rigid base of varying thickness and materials, depending on the substrate. A wooden sheet is attached to the base with a layer of adhesive. The method involves milling the surface of the wooden sheet to outline several segments, the repetition of which results in the basic design of the panel. However, milling complex profiles requires highly skilled personnel.

[0005] The "Wooden Wall Panel Fastening System" (patent CN112695968A) discloses a dovetail fastening method. The lack of other means of securing the fastener to the wall panel can lead to potential deformation.

[0006] The "Method for Manufacturing Wooden Cladding Panels" (patent RU 2846463) is a precursor to the claimed technical solution. This prototype, while possessing the decorative properties of a wooden cladding panel and preventing warping of the decorative strips and the entire panel during use, requires precise preliminary measurements of the surface to be decorated before manufacturing.

[0007] The prototype chosen is "Wall cladding consisting of wooden panels fixed to upper and lower guides" (patent FR 2735167). The cladding, consisting of lower and upper fastening guides, is fixed to the wall with nails, screws, or pins. There are connected panels that are fixed to the guides in such a way as to close the space between them. The skirting board is fixed to the front of the lower rail, and a groove cap is placed on the upper edge of the upper rail. On the front of the lower rail, there is a tongue that protrudes upward. The tongue enters the groove on the inner edge of the skirting board. There is also a tongue on the upper edge of the upper rail, which enters the groove on the inner edge of the groove cap. The panels are held on the guides by the upper edge of the skirting board and the bracket of the groove cap.Installing this type of cladding, consisting of five separate elements, some of which have a complex geometric profile, presents a significant challenge during on-site assembly. This design can be compromised by warping of both the decorated surface and the cladding elements. Furthermore, there is no option to select the width of the decorative strip, which would eliminate the problem of covering the final section of the surface being decorated.

[0008] Disclosure of the essence of the invention

[0009] The purpose of this invention is to create a basic element of a decorative cladding panel with the maximum possible disclosure of the decorative qualities of wood and ease of installation of the panel on any unprepared flat surfaces.

[0010] The technical result of the proposed solution is achieved by the design of the basic decorative facing element of the panel, consisting of three main parts - the base, the main strip of the decorative and connecting strip and the method of its implementation.

[0011] The stated problem is solved, and the technical result is achieved by the fact that the base element for forming a decorative facing coating, consisting of a base with fastening holes made in it, a main or side strip, and a connecting strip, characterized in that in the wide side of the base a groove is made with an offset from the central axis of the base, the fastening holes are made on the wide side of the base, a connecting tenon is made on the base of the main or side strip, repeating the shape of the groove made in the base, wherein on the main strip on both sides of the tenon structural grooves are made, and on the side strip the structural groove is made on one side of the tenon, wherein the connecting tenon of the strip is placed in the groove of the base and glued under pressure and at an elevated temperature or under pressure by means of an adhesive composition applied to the inner surface of the groove of the base and to the outer surface of the tenon of the strip,The connecting strip is inserted into the structural groove formed by the glued base and strip. The front sides of the main and side strips have a shaped profile. The base with the glued strip is attached to the surface to be decorated using fasteners through holes drilled in the base. One side of the connecting strip is inserted into the structural groove of the strip, the other side of which is inserted into the structural groove of the next base with the glued strip. This base is then secured to the surface to be decorated using fasteners.

[0012] Implementation of the invention

[0013] The base element consists of a base, a main decorative strip and a connecting strip.

[0014] The drawings indicate:

[0015] 1. base,

[0016] 2. Main decorative strip,

[0017] 3. connecting strip,

[0018] 4. base groove - hereinafter referred to as groove,

[0019] 5. connecting tenon,

[0020] 6. mounting holes,

[0021] 7. Structural groove,

[0022] 8. Decorative side strip.

[0023] Any board material capable of milling a groove for pressing can be selected as base 1. This includes heat-treated solid wood, plywood, MDF, or laminated chipboard. Connecting strip 3 is made of board material and serves as a decorative detail of the base element, covering the mounting holes in base 1.

[0024] A guide cut (groove 4) is cut on base 1 using a multi-saw (Fig. 1), for example, from 2 mm to 7 mm in depth and 12 mm in width. Groove 4 is made with an offset from the central axis of base 1. Fastening holes 6 are drilled on base 1 between groove 4 and the edge of the wide part of base 1 for self-tapping screws with a recess for the screw head.

[0025] The main slats 2 are made, for example, from wood, using a planing machine. Upon exiting, the slats acquire a flat and smooth surface with a specified geometry, featuring a technological connecting tenon 5 with a longitudinal groove cut into the lateral planes, which serve as structural grooves 7 in the base element.

[0026] Before installing the base element, apply adhesive along the entire length of the groove 4 and tenon 5. After the required technological time has passed, base 1 and main strip 2 are joined (Fig. 2).

[0027] The resulting structure is pressed under a pressure of 190-210 bar at 3.5 kg / cm 2 and at a temperature of 60-70°C. Pressing time is from 8 minutes. Temperature and time depend on the selected material, material moisture content, ambient humidity, and the adhesive used. Full polymerization of the adhesive after removing the structure from the press is achieved within 12 hours.

[0028] If the structural elements are made of unheat-treated wood, they are treated with a fire-retardant before installation. The finished structure is then coated with a decorative finish.

[0029] Installation of the base element of the decorative facing panel begins with fastening the base 1 with a pre-installed decorative strip to the surface to be decorated using self-tapping screws (Fig. 2).

[0030] Next, a connecting strip 3 (Fig. 3) is inserted into the structural groove 7 obtained between the base 1 and the selected quarter main strip 2, and the next base 1 is pressed against the other side of the connecting strip 3, which in turn is secured with self-tapping screws (Fig. 4).

[0031] For the first base to be mounted 1, a side rail 8 is provided, in which the structural groove is made only on one side of the tenon 5, opposite to the beginning (Fig. 5).

[0032] The front sides of the main and side slats can have a shaped profile (Fig. 6, 7).

[0033] The factory-applied adhesive bonding of the base and batten provides sufficient strength to withstand any warping of the decorated surface, and also simplifies the surface decoration process by using only one standard base element. By varying the width of the connecting strips, the spacing between the bases is adjusted. This allows the entire surface to be covered without the need for additional trimming of the outer connecting strips. Furthermore, this method allows for concealing the mounting holes.
