Description

[0001] The invention relates to the field of elevator equipment and, in particular, concerns a device that ensures its safe use.

[0002] One of the main components of an elevator, along with the frame, drive, and railings, is the elevator door. It ensures free access for passengers and cargo to the elevator car and ensures safe passage while in motion. Access to the elevator should be restricted when it is not in use or in emergency situations, such as a power outage. Typically, the movement of the elevator shaft door and the elevator car is synchronized. However, this synchronization can be disrupted and the elevator car moves from the floor, leaving the elevator shaft door open. This can create a dangerous situation, and an object could fall through the open door into the shaft. To prevent this, the elevator shaft door should always be closed when the elevator car is not on the floor. Devices and their applications for closing the elevator shaft door in such situations are known.

[0003] A system for safely closing an elevator shaft door and an elevator installation with a shaft door equipped with such a safe closing system are known (US2005045430A1; IPC B66B13 / 08; published 2005-03-03), comprising a shaft door panel installed with the possibility of horizontal movement between closed and open positions; a spring connected to said shaft door panel and under tension in the open position of said shaft door panel; and a drive mass subject to the action of gravity and connected to the shaft door panel for bringing said shaft door panel to the closed position.

[0004] The disadvantage of this solution is that it can only close a door panel that moves along a straight path.

[0005] A drive device for a circular elevator is known (EP1508546A1; IPC B66B13 / 08; published 2005-02-23) consisting of a drive link for opening and closing a cylindrical elevator door using a given rotational motion; a drive for rotating said drive link; and a driving mechanism for moving the center of rotation of said drive link along a given trajectory.

[0006] The disadvantage of this solution is the complexity of the design and the need for free space above the elevator.

[0007] A door device for an elevator is known (JPS55140480A; IPC E05F15 / 14, B66B13 / 30, B66B13 / 12, B66B13 / 08; published 1980-11-01) containing a curved door moving along an arcuate trajectory, and having a door closing device made in the form of a cable with a load connected to the door through rollers located in the upper part above the door on the elevator body and a solid massive element on which the door is secured and with the help of which it moves along an arcuate trajectory.

[0008] The disadvantage of this solution is the presence of a solid massive element, which requires sufficient space for its placement.

[0009] The technical task is to create a compact and simple device for automatically closing a door that moves along a curved path in an elevator shaft when there is no cabin on the floor.

[0010] The technical result is to ensure efficient use of space near the elevator and reduce noise impact.

[0011] The technical problem is solved, and the technical result is achieved by a device for automatically closing a door moving along a curved trajectory of an elevator shaft, consisting of a door leaf secured to at least one suspension and interacting with a guide for movement, which is a flexible element connected to the suspension and the traction mechanism and is designed with the ability to move along a groove on the convex surface of the guide.

[0012] The essence of the invention is explained by drawings of a specific example of the implementation of a device for automatically closing a door moving along a curved trajectory of an elevator shaft, where Fig. 1 shows a general view of the elevator with a door; Fig. 2 is a local view from inside the elevator on one of the suspensions; Fig. 3 is a local view from outside the elevator, without a horizontal post, on the device; Fig. 4 is an option for placing the traction mechanism in a vertical post.

[0013] The following positional notation is used for all figures:

[0014] 1 – vertical stand;

[0015] 2 – horizontal stand;

[0016] 3 – fencing;

[0017] 4 – door;

[0018] 5 – fastening;

[0019] 6 – suspension;

[0020] 7 – guide;

[0021] 8 – rollers;

[0022] 9 – bracket;

[0023] 10 – cable;

[0024] 11 – gutter;

[0025] 12 – pulley

[0026] 13 – traction mechanism

[0027] 14 – rack frame;

[0028] 15 – barbell;

[0029] 16 – stop;

[0030] 17 – cargo;

[0031] 18 – slider;

[0032] 19 – spring.

[0033] Let us consider a device for automatically closing a door moving along a curved path in an elevator shaft using the example of a cylindrical elevator, shown in Fig. 1 and consisting of vertical 1 and horizontal 2 posts, between which a railing 3 and a door 4 are installed, which can move along the railing (both are made of bent transparent sheet material, with a protective strip at the ends of the door). For this purpose, door 4 is connected to horizontal posts 2 by means of fasteners 5 with two hangers 6, located on the inside of door 4.

[0034] Figure 2 depicts one possible embodiment of the connection between door 4, hanger 6, and guide 7 on horizontal post 2. Guide 7 is designed as an arc, repeating the contour of the elevator. Hanger 6 is designed as a plate with a rib and interacts with guide 7 via rollers 8.

[0035] Fig. 3 shows a detailed view of the main unit of the automatic door closing device. A bracket 9 is secured to one of the hangers 6, wrapping around the top of the guide 7 and positioned on the convex side. A cable 10 is secured to this bracket 9. The cable 10 runs along a groove 11 of the guide 7 and, via a pulley 12, interacts with a traction mechanism 13 located in the vertical post 2.

[0036] In Fig. 4 it is visible what the traction mechanism 13 consists of. On the frame of the rack 14 two rods 15 are placed by means of stops 16. Weights 17 are installed on the rods 15, which interact with them through sliders 18. Weights 17 are connected with a cable 10. At one of the ends of the rods 15 springs 19 are placed to cushion the weight 17.

[0037] The operating principle of the automatic closing device for door 4 of the elevator shaft is as follows. When the elevator car is on the floor, the car door and door 4 of the elevator shaft open and close synchronously. For this purpose, one of the hangers 6 is connected to the drive (not shown) for opening door 4 through the mechanism (not shown) of the car door, which opens and closes door 4 when a command is given to it. In this case, as indicated above, the pair, roller 8 - upper guide 7, ensures the movement of door 4 along an arcuate trajectory. In an emergency, both doors may not close completely, and the elevator car may leave the floor. In this case, door 4 will remain open and a foreign object may enter the elevator shaft. To prevent this, one of the hangers 6 is connected through cable 10 to load 17. Under the action of the weight of load 17, door 4 automatically closes to the stop (not shown). Once it has been reached, door 4 is fixed in position to prevent unintentional opening.If necessary, the device is equipped with an emergency opening mechanism (not shown) for door 4. This mechanism consists of a system of rods connected to the locking mechanism on one side and the locking mechanism on the other. Opening is accomplished using the locking mechanism key.

[0038] The specified embodiment of the device represents its general operating principle. These general principles and specific embodiments are presented below. In the general embodiment of the automatic elevator shaft door closing device, door 4 itself and railing 3 can be made of an opaque material, not necessarily curved, which can generally be referred to as a "sheet." Their cross-sectional (horizontal) shape can be circular, oval, polyhedron, or combinations thereof. The trajectory of door 4 need not be arcuate; it can be of any curved shape. There may also be one or more hangers 6, placed at a distance or close to one another. In addition to the above-mentioned case where door 4 is opened and closed by a drive, in general this can occur under any external influence. Hangers 6 may be located either on the inner or outer side of door 4, or a combination of both.Rollers 8 may be replaced by any other rolling or sliding elements, such as plastic pads. Cable 10 may be replaced by another element, such as a rope, cord, strip, chain, or a combination thereof. Collectively, these elements can be referred to as a flexible element. In this case, cable 10 moves along groove 11, which is made of a metal strip with antifriction properties. Generally, the materials and design options for the flexible element and groove are selected to reduce friction between them and can be applied directly to guide 7 or to a separate element secured to guide 7. Consequently, groove 11 may be made of fluoroplastic, polyurethane, or the metal strip may have a special coating. There may be several pulleys 12, each positioned at a different angle.Traction mechanism 13 may be implemented as a weight or an elastic stretchable element, such as a spring, elastic band, or rope, or a combination thereof. Weight 17 need not necessarily move along a limited path like rod 15. It may hang freely in horizontal support 2 or be located near it. Plates may also be used to constrain the path, instead of rods 15. Any buffering element, such as rubber, may be used instead of spring 19.
