Description

The invention pertains to the field of pyrotechnic production, specifically to the production of non-corrosive percussion caps for cartridges of civilian and service weapons. The aim of the invention is to reliably ignite the propellant charge in the cartridge case without the use of metals or alloys as fuel, which can cause excessive corrosive wear on the gun barrel, while maintaining the stability of the composition's energy parameters during operation in the temperature range from plus 50°C to minus 50°C. The non-corrosive percussion cap in the cartridge case must be sensitive to the striker striker, have the necessary and sufficient power to ensure reliable ignition of the propellant charge in the cartridge case, and not cause a breach of the percussion cap's hermetic integrity, i.e., ensure the required level of safe use. It also must not cause corrosion of the gun barrel due to the decomposition products of the percussion cap's components. The following compositions are known from the prior art:.

[0001] RU Patent No. 2157357 with the following components, mass %: Lead trinitroresorcinate - 32-38, tetrazene - 2-12, barium nitrate - 33-45, antimony trisulfide - 12-18, potassium monosubstituted styphnate - 1-7. The disadvantage of this composition is the unstable ignition of propellant charges at sub-zero temperatures, which affects the stability of their ballistic characteristics.

[0002] Composition according to TU 7513104-135-89 from the reference in RU patent No. 2157357 with the content of components, mass. %: Lead trinitroresorcinate - 35.0 ± 3, tetrazene - 3.0 ± 1, barium nitrate - 42 ± 3, antimony trisulfide (antimony) - 7.0 ± 3, lead dioxide - 5 ± 2.0, aluminum - 3 ± 3.0. The disadvantage of this composition is the use of a metallic additive of aluminum powder as an additive to the main fuel, which increased the erosive effect of the combustion products of the composition on the bore of the weapon.

[0003] RU Patent No. 2106330 with the following components, mass %: Lead trinitroresorcinate - 20.5-27.5, tetrazene - 0.5-4.0, barium nitrate - 42-48, antimony trisulfide - 23-27, lead dioxide - 23-27, technical carbon - 0.1-0.5. The disadvantage of this composition is its low power, which in some cases leads to prolonged shots due to the slow ignition of the powder charge in the cartridge case.

[0004] RU Patent No. 2296733 with the following component content, mass %: Lead trinitroresorcinate - 16-20, tetrazene - 1.5-2.0, barium nitrate - 20-24, TEHN - 6-10, calcium silicide - 49-54. The disadvantage of this composition is the erosive effect of the combustion products of the composition on the barrel of the weapon.

[0004] . The technical problem of the applicant, to which the proposed invention is directed, is the development of a non-corrosive striking composition with increased ignitability during its operation in the temperature range from plus 50°C to minus 50°C, and also allowing to avoid the corrosive action of the combustion products of the composition on the bore of the weapon. The stated problem is solved due to the fact that in the proposed non-corrosive striking composition, containing lead trinitroresorcinate and tetrazene as initiators, barium nitrate and lead dioxide as oxidizers, aerosil grade R972 is additionally introduced in the following percentage ratio of components, mass %: Lead trinitroresorcinate (TNRS) 30-50 Tetrazene 3-10 Barium nitrate 30-66 Lead dioxide 1-10 Aerosil R972 0.01-0.3 over 100% The technical result is that the proposed impact-ignition composition, based on the basic components of TNRS, tetrazene, barium nitrate, and lead dioxide, eliminates metal-containing fuel to reduce corrosive wear of the gun barrel, and adds aerosil to increase ignition efficiency and sensitization (sensitivity) without increasing brisance. Aerosil was selected as a component through experimentation. It has a large specific surface area, which increases the sensitivity and ignition potential of the composition when added to the formulation. A search of patent and scientific and technical sources revealed no compositions identical to the proposed composition.

[0001] , [4] and the proposed non-corrosive impact composition, having average and boundary values from the proposed component ratios. The effectiveness of the non-corrosive impact compositions was tested in impact sensitivity tests (Table 1).

[0001] accounts for 100% of the KV-24 primer caps only when a load weighing 0.250±0.001 kg falls on them from a height of 200-220 mm, which indicates its insufficient power.

[0004] is 100% of the KV-24 primer caps are triggered when a load weighing 0.250±0.001 kg falls on them from a height of 180-220 mm. However, due to the high brisance of tetranitrate pentaerythritol, there was a case of destruction of the primer cap when the load fell from a height of 220 mm. The sensitivity of the proposed non-rusting impact composition is 100% of the KV-24 primer caps responding to a drop of a load weighing 0.250 ± 0.001 kg: - from heights of 150-220 mm - version 3 of the composition, - from heights of 160-220 mm - version 2 of the composition, - from heights of 180-220 mm - version 1 of the composition. An additional characteristic of the effectiveness of the non-rusting impact composition is 100% response of the KV-24 primer caps in the temperature range from plus 50 ° C to minus 50 ° C (Table 2).

[0001] , 100% of firings were achieved only in the temperature range from plus 50°C to minus 30°C. When tested at temperatures as low as minus 50°C, only two percent of delayed firings were achieved.

[0004] , 100% of the actions were obtained in the temperature range from plus 50°C to minus 5°C. During the tests of the KV-24 primer caps, filled with the proposed non-corrosive shock-igniting composition in versions 1, 2, 3, the test results were obtained with 100% failure-free operation in the temperature range from plus 50°C to minus 50°C. The positive result is that the primer caps filled with the proposed composition meet all the requirements for failure-free operation and safety, i.e. they allow for stable ignition of gunpowder in the cartridge case, ensuring the required ballistic characteristics of the cartridge and eliminating the destruction of the primer cap.The proposed invention meets the "unity of invention" criterion because its essential features—the introduction of R972 grade aerosil into a non-corrosive impact composition with the proposed percentage ratio of primary initiators and oxidizers—enhances its sensitivity and ignition ability without increasing brisance, while the exclusion of metallic fuel reduces erosive activity. Thus, a single problem is solved: obtaining a composition with high ignition ability, functioning reliably in the temperature range of applicability from plus 50°C to minus 50°C, without increased erosive activity. Changing the quantitative composition of the composition's components beyond the proposed limits resulted in unstable ballistic characteristics of the shots. The non-corrosive striking composition proposed by the authors as an example of a specific implementation has undergone field testing in standard cartridges in the following formulation of a specific implementation, mass %:. TNRS-38 Tetrazene 3 Barium nitrate 54 Lead dioxide 5 Arosil R972 0.3 over 100% The test results fully confirmed the implementation of the inventive concept in terms of ensuring reliable ignition of the powder charge in the cartridge case without compromising safety quality, while eliminating the erosive activity of the composition, which confirms the solution to the technical problem and allows us to consider the proposed technical solution as meeting the invention criteria of "industrial applicability" and "novelty". The composition is recommended for industrial use. Information sources 1. Patent RU No. 2157357. 2. Composition according to TU 7513104-135-80 from the reference in patent RU No. 2157357. 3.
