Description

[0001] The invention relates to the field of pressure processing, namely to the designs of press molds, forming equipment, and metal-metal-polymer press molds.

[0002] Each injection mold is a structure consisting of steel plates to which a fixed die and movable punch elements are attached. The internal cavity determines the precise configuration and parameters of the future casting. Molten raw material is fed into the molding cavity through special sprues. A mold is a shaping structural element used in injection molding and the pressing of polymer composite materials and metals. The design and geometry of the mold determine the shape of the future product, its texture, roughness, density, and strength. Molds are used for the serial production of plastic parts of identical configurations.

[0003] A known press mold for the production of investment castings of complex-shaped parts is described in the author's certificate for invention No. 627905, which contains a housing made with the possibility of being separated into two or more parts, wherein the mating parts of the housing are made in the form of flat surfaces.

[0004] The disadvantage of this mold is the impossibility of obtaining complex thin-walled parts.

[0005] A known investment casting mold is described in Russian Federation Utility Model Patent No. 26985, which we chose as our prototype. It comprises a detachable metal body with process holes and molding parts, the molding parts being made of a cold-hardening polymer material.

[0006] The disadvantage of this design is that when choosing polymeric materials, it is impossible to use rigid, inelastic or brittle polymers, and the complexity and high cost of designing, manufacturing and maintaining such a form.

[0007] The objective of the proposed invention is to create a device that allows for the production of products of the required profile, including those of complex geometry, by eliminating distortion of the geometry of the tooling, as well as expanding the technological capabilities of the tooling and increasing its reliability.

[0008] The stated problem is solved by the design of a press mold for the production of an investment model of a crane fork, containing a detachable metal body consisting of a lower and upper half molds, with technological openings and molding cavities, wherein the new thing is that the lower and upper half molds are made in the form of rectangular metal plates with lugs for fasteners located on the side walls of each half mold, while the lower half mold consists of two parts fastened at the bottom with a longitudinal lock, and the molding cavity of each of the said parts is made in the form of a cylindrical recess, smoothly turning on one side into a groove of a rectangular profile, and in the side walls of the molding cavity in the central part two round undercuts are made, while in the upper half mold the molding cavity is made in the form of a cylindrical recess, transitioning into a rectangular channel with a recess at the bottom in the central part, wherein said channel is tapered in longitudinal section, and a through hole is made in the upper half of the mold at the end of the tapering channel. Also, circular undercuts are made with a diameter not exceeding 30 mm and with a stepped side wall.

[0009] The press mold is illustrated by graphic materials - Fig. 1-5, where Fig. 1 shows a general view of the press mold assembled in section, Fig. 2 shows a general view of the press mold assembled, Fig. 3 shows the lower half of the press mold, a top view, Fig. 4 shows the upper half of the press mold, a top view, and Fig. 5 shows the upper half of the mold (section).

[0010] The press mold consists of a detachable metal body consisting of lower 1, 4, and upper 2 half molds. Eyelets 5 for fasteners 11 are made on the side walls of the lower 1, 4, and upper 2 half molds. The lower half mold consists of two parts: part 1 and part 4, which are fastened with a longitudinal lock 3. Identical molding cavities are formed in each of parts 1 and 4 of the lower half mold, with a cylindrical recess 7 in the head portion, which then transitions into a groove 8 of a rectangular profile. Two circular undercuts 9 of a stepped profile 10 are made on the side walls of this molding cavity in the central portion.

[0011] In the upper half-mold 2, the forming cavity is made in the form of two cavities that transition into each other: one in the form of a cylindrical recess 15, and the other in the form of a channel 13 of a rectangular profile with a recess at the bottom in the central part 12, and in the longitudinal section this channel 13 narrows and at its end a through hole 14 is made.

[0012] The mold operates as follows. To obtain the investment casting, the mold is assembled: first, the two lower mold halves 1 and 4 are secured with a longitudinal clamp 3. Then, the upper mold part 2 is placed on top of them, and the entire structure is secured with fasteners 11 inserted into lugs 5. Next, the mold cavities are filled with the investment casting, and after cooling, the finished investment casting of the complex-shaped crane fork part is removed from the mold.

[0013] Thus, the claimed press mold allows for the production of investment castings of the required profile by eliminating distortion of the tooling geometry.
