Description

[0001] The invention relates to a device for dividing a briquette strip having a plurality of connected briquette rows arranged one after the other (in the direction of transport), each of which has a plurality of briquettes next to each other connected by material bridges, in particular for the production of briquettes from direct reduced iron,

[0002] with a movable striking device having several strikers located next to each other and with a feeding device by means of which the briquette strip of the striking device can be fed in the transport direction,

[0003] wherein the striking device strikes the briquette strip fed by the feeding device with its strikers so that, on the one hand, a briquette row or individual briquette rows of the briquette strip are cut off from the briquette strip, and, on the other hand, the briquette row is divided or the briquette rows are divided (respectively) into individual briquettes.

[0004] Furthermore, the invention relates to a briquette production plant, in particular a hot briquetting plant (e.g., direct reduced iron), with a briquetting press used to continuously produce a briquette strip and a device installed downstream of the briquetting press for separating the briquette strip exiting the briquetting press. This device for separating the briquette strip is also called a briquette separator or briquette strip splitter.

[0005] Preferably, the device or plant is for producing briquettes from direct reduced iron (DRI), also known as sponge iron or sponge iron. Briquettes are also called hot briquetted iron (HBI). The feedstock is produced by direct reduction of iron ore, and briquettes are produced from this feedstock in the plant, particularly preferably in one or more hot briquetting presses.Such briquetting presses are designed, for example, as roller presses, having, for example, two counter-rotating pressing rollers, the peripheral surfaces of which, or the surfaces of the rollers, are equipped with molding troughs or molding depressions. Therefore, as the material passes through the gap formed between the briquetting rollers, a briquette strip is formed between the rollers, comprising a plurality of briquette rows running side by side and arranged one after the other in the conveying direction, and consequently, in the longitudinal direction of the strip, wherein the briquettes arranged in columns and rows are connected by material bridges. To separate the briquettes connected in the briquette strip by material bridges after the pressing process, a device for separating the briquette strip in the form of a "cut-off device" is connected after the briquetting press. This cut-off device, also referred to as a separator, is of primary importance within the scope of the invention.

[0006] The device for separating the briquette strip has at least one impact device with impactors, which is designed, for example, in the form of a rotating impact drum or having such an impact drum, wherein the impact drum has a plurality of rows of impactors with correspondingly located adjacent impactors distributed around the circumference. In addition, the device has a feeding device by means of which the briquette strip is fed to a section of the impact device, wherein such a feeding device is designed, for example, in the form of a feeding chute or an inclined feeding chute or has them, so that the briquette strip, under the action of the gravity of the briquetting press, falls onto the section of the impact device. The feeding device (for example, an inclined chute) has an impact edge on the end side extending transversely to the direction of transportation of the briquette, so that during the movement of the impact device with impactors, a briquette row is knocked off the briquette strip from the end side (i.e.briquette bar). In addition, at least one spout is located on or in a section of the feeding device, for example, on the striking edge or below it, and with the help of which individual briquettes of each briquette row are separated.

[0007] The feeding device can be equipped, in addition, with an additional pressure bar that presses the briquette strip fed from the briquetting press onto the feeding tray or feeding inclined chute and thereby prevents deviation or delamination of the strip.

[0008] In practice, briquetting presses (for hot briquetting) typically use working tools to machine a surface with two adjacent molding recesses, creating a briquette strip with two adjacent columns of briquettes. This means that individual briquette rows have two separate briquettes, connected to each other by material bridges. Separation of such a briquette strip is accomplished using the described separator, with a separate spout provided below the striking edge to separate both briquettes in a briquette row.

[0009] As a result, the components of such a plant and such a briquette strip separating device are subject to high loads. In the case of hot briquetting, the components must withstand high temperatures, as hot briquetting occurs, for example, at temperatures ranging from 250°C to 750°C.

[0010] A briquette production plant with a briquette strip separator of the described type is known, for example, from publications WO 95 / 09080 and WO 95 / 09079 A1. The striking device of the briquette strip separator is designed as a striking drum, which interacts in the described manner with a feeder, which is designed as an inclined chute or guide strip. The briquette strip fed from the press consists of two adjacent columns of briquettes, i.e., each individual, broken briquette row consists of two adjacent briquettes. To separate such a briquette row broken from the briquette strip, a separate spout is provided in the feeder, dividing the middle bridge of the briquette strip.

[0011] A similar device is described in document DE 35 07 166 A1, wherein the roller press has two briquetting rollers interacting in opposite directions, having concave shapes around the circumference corresponding to the briquette and creating a briquette strip in two columns, the briquettes of which are connected to one another by bridges and are separated by a breaker, wherein both the bridges extending transversely to the longitudinal direction of the strip and those extending in the longitudinal direction of the strip are broken. The breaker, in turn, has a drum with a plurality of impact plates mounted around the circumference, extending in the radial direction and having a recess in the center. When the breaker drum rotates, the impact plates pass through the recess of the breaker nose, which also supports in the middle the briquette strip sliding onto an inclined chute after exiting the leading edge of the inclined chute. This allows the briquette strip to rest on the leading edge of the inclined chute with its tear-off edges running transversely to the strip's longitudinal direction, and on the tip of the breaker when the impact plates strike an individual briquette. The briquette strip breaks at these tear-off edges, thus creating individual briquettes.

[0012] The same applies to the device known from DE 25 14 703 A1, in which the briquette strip also has two adjacent columns, so that each individual briquette row consists of two briquettes, separated by means of a separate breaking spout.

[0013] Furthermore, briquetting devices, and in particular hot briquetting devices, in which the briquette strip is divided into individual briquettes by a cutting device, are known in various embodiments from documents EP 3 183 371 B1, US 6 352 573 B2, US 5 731 272, US 6 340 378 B1 and EP 3 760 749 A1, as well as from WO 2008 / 078936 A1.

[0014] EP 2 930 452 B1 also describes a device for separating parts of a HBI plate strip having two rollers interacting with each other.

[0015] Other embodiments of breakers or breaking devices for briquetting are described in US 3 300 815 and DE 22 00 255.

[0016] Known briquetting devices, and particularly hot briquetting devices, are typically equipped, as mentioned, with briquetting presses that produce briquette strips or strips of material with two adjacent columns of briquettes, i.e., with forming troughs arranged in two rows adjacent to each other around the circumference of the roller press. In practice, the production of briquettes using such devices has proven exceptionally effective, as, in particular, the already described separating devices enable flawless separation, in which, for example, the impact drum interacts with the impact edge of the feed chute and with a separate spout.

[0017] However, in practice, there was a need to increase production capacity and, consequently, optimize briquetting, and, in particular, hot briquetting, from an economic standpoint. This is where the invention comes in.

[0018] The invention is based on the task of creating a device for separating a briquette strip and, consequently, a briquette separator of the previously described type, simple in design and with trouble-free operation, ensuring a particularly economical production of briquettes.

[0019] To solve this problem, the invention proposes a device of the previously described type in a corresponding form, wherein the impact device and the feed device are designed to separate a briquette strip with briquette rows having, respectively, at least three briquettes located next to each other, that the impact device has at least three strikers located next to each other, that the feed device has at least two spouts located next to each other, and that of the (several) spouts of the feed device located next to each other, at least one of the spouts is made and / or directed so that between this spout and the spout located next to it, a distance is formed that widens in the working direction, through which the separated briquettes are removed.

[0020] The invention proceeds from the fact that the efficiency of the briquetting device can be increased if a briquetting press is used to create a briquette strip having not only two adjacent columns of briquettes, but also more than two columns of briquettes, i.e. at least three and, for example, four columns of briquettes, or at least four columns of briquettes. In particular, the capacity of the installation is increased not simply by using a larger number of briquetting presses, producing, for example, a briquette strip with two columns of briquettes in the conventional manner, but by using briquetting presses with a higher productivity, in particular with at least three columns of briquettes, for example, with at least four columns of briquettes. Based on these considerations, the briquette separator, i.e.A device for dividing a briquette strip is designed such that a perfect division of said briquette strip occurs, the briquette rows of which each have at least three briquettes arranged adjacent to one another. For this purpose, both the striking device and the feeding device are optimized, since in a preferred embodiment, the striking device has at least three strikers arranged adjacent to one another, and the feeding device has, for example, on the striking edge or below it, two or even more spouts for dividing individual briquette rows, which are made according to the invention from at least three briquettes with two bridges provided between the briquettes, for example from at least four briquettes with three (longitudinal) bridges provided between the briquettes.

[0021] The striking device is preferably implemented (in a manner essentially known) in the form of a rotatable striking drum or has a rotatable striking drum. According to the invention, the striking drum has a plurality of rows of strikers distributed around the circumference, each having at least three strikers arranged adjacent to one another. However, as an alternative, an striking device may be used in which, instead of a rotatable striking drum, a linearly moving striking element may be used, for example, having a separate row of strikers with at least three strikers arranged adjacent to one another, wherein such a linearly operating striking element, for example, periodically performs reciprocating movements in a linear direction, for example, lowering and raising. However, it is preferable if the said impact device with a rotating impact drum is used.

[0022] According to the invention, the increased number of strikers in the striking device and the increased number of tips, and therefore projections, under the striking edge of the feed device are of particular importance. To this end, the invention proposes, in a preferred, improved embodiment, that the number n of strikers (in one row of strikers) in the striking device be one greater than the number m of tips in the feed device, i.e., n = m + 1 is used, in particular with n ≥ 3.

[0023] Alternatively or additionally, it is provided that the number n of strikers in the striker is equal to or less than the number b of briquettes in the briquette rows, i.e. n = b or n < b, and in particular with b ≥ 3, for example with b ≥ 4.

[0024] Alternatively or additionally, it is provided that the number m of spouts in the feeding device is less than the number b of briquettes in the briquette rows, i.e. m < b, that is, in particular, with b ≥ 3, for example, with b ≥ 4.

[0025] In one embodiment of the invention, the number n of strikers is equal to the number b of briquettes, and the number m of spouts is less than the number b of briquettes, i.e., n = b and m = b - 1 are applied, and it also follows that m = n - 1. In this embodiment, the number b of briquettes may be an even or odd number. In this embodiment, each briquette in a briquette row is always assigned a striker, i.e., each briquette is struck by its own striker. Furthermore, each material bridge between two adjacent briquettes in a briquette row is assigned a spout, i.e., each material bridge in a briquette row, during separation, directly hits the spout assigned to that material bridge.

[0026] It is always advantageous if not only a perfect separation of the briquettes, but also a perfect and trouble-free removal of the briquettes is ensured. For this purpose, in the embodiments according to the invention, it is particularly advantageous to provide that at least one inner striker, located between the outer strikers, can pass between two (immediately) adjacent spouts, so that one striker passes through each of the two adjacent spouts. This ensures a perfect removal of the briquettes, i.e., in particular, the inner briquettes located in the briquette row between the outer briquettes. Consequently, one or more inner briquettes fall after separation not only (passively) through the area between the spouts, but are also caught by at least one striker or guided through the intermediate space.

[0027] The first embodiment is intended, for example, for separating a briquette strip with three columns of briquettes, i.e., with briquette rows containing three adjacent briquettes. In this case, the striking device has three strikers, and the feeding device has two offset spouts, each striker being attached to a briquette in the briquette row, and each spout being attached to a material bridge located between two adjacent briquettes. Consequently, in this first embodiment, individual strikers directly strike individual briquettes, and the spouts directly act on the material bridges located between them, resulting in perfect separation.

[0028] A second embodiment of the invention is provided, for example, for separating a briquette strip with four columns of briquettes, i.e., with briquette rows containing four adjacent briquettes. The striking device has four strikers, and the feeding device has three spouts (located with a transverse offset relative to it), wherein each striker is attached to a briquette of the briquette row, and, moreover, each spout is attached to a material bridge located between two adjacent briquettes. Consequently, in this second embodiment, too, the individual strikers strike, as in the first embodiment, directly on individual briquettes, and the spouts act directly on the material bridges located between them, thereby achieving perfect separation. Each spout is located transversely, in particular, with a transverse offset in the working direction toward the strikers.

[0029] In addition, the invention can also be implemented with more than four briquette strips, with more than four columns of briquettes, in which individual briquette rows have as a result more than four adjacent briquettes, and the number of briquettes in a briquette row can be an even or odd number.

[0030] In addition to fast and safe separation, the flawless removal of separated briquettes from the impact section is of particular importance for the smooth and economical operation of the device. In particular, malfunctions caused by jamming or clogging in the impact section must be prevented. For this purpose, it is proposed that at least one of the two adjacent spouts of the feed device be designed and / or directed such that a distance widening in the operating direction is formed between this spout and the spout immediately adjacent to it, through which the separated briquettes are removed. This is preferably achieved, for example, by at least one of the spouts being directed at an oblique angle and / or having a thickness tapering in the operating direction.Preferably, at least two spouts are each directed at an oblique angle and / or at least two spouts have a thickness that tapers in the working direction. This could, for example, be two spouts arranged directly next to each other. In a briquette row with (only) three adjacent briquettes, preferably (only) two adjacent spouts are provided, directed at an oblique angle to each other and forming, for example, a funnel-like expansion space. As an alternative to the oblique arrangement of the spout, the invention also encompasses a curved or curvilinear orientation or shape. Thus, with only two spouts, they can be curved in opposite directions, so that an expansion space is formed in the working direction. In an embodiment with, for example, three spouts, it is proposed that of several adjacent spouts of the feeding device, both outer spouts are designed and / or directed such that a space expanding in the working direction is formed between the respective outer spout and the inner spout located next to it, through which the separated or disassembled briquettes are discharged. This can be achieved, for example, by the outer spouts being directed at an oblique angle (or curved) and / or having a thickness tapering in the working direction. Consequently, due to the oblique (or curved) arrangement and / or tapering thickness, a space increasing in the working direction can be created between the spouts, so that an expanding space (e.g., funnel-shaped) is created in the working direction for the discharge of individual briquettes.

[0031] Further advantages are achieved by the advantageous arrangement of the spouts in the working direction. In particular, it is further proposed that of several adjacent spouts, one or more spouts is or are offset relative to one or more other (e.g., neighboring) spouts in the working direction. Thus, it is possible (in particular with at least three spouts) to arrange the inner, for example, central spout relative to the adjacent outer spouts at the rear, with a downward offset in the working direction, or to arrange it in front with a forward offset in the working direction. In this way, it can be provided that the spouts are arranged such that when adjacent strikers hit the briquette strip, the two outer briquettes are first separated by the two outer spouts located in the front, and only shortly thereafter by the spout located at the rear in the working direction or offset to the rear, the two middle briquettes are separated. This also prevents failures due to jamming or binding by briquettes. Therefore, in this embodiment, the central or middle spout is positioned lower than both outer spouts by a predetermined distance. Alternatively, the central spout could be positioned forward, so that when adjacent strikers strike, the central web is split first, and only shortly afterward, the two outer webs are split.

[0032] In the embodiment in which the middle spout is dispensed with, only the two provided (outer) spouts are preferably positioned at the same height.

[0033] As an alternative to or in addition to the beveled and / or offset arrangement of one or more spouts, briquette removal can be ensured or improved by a striker passing through two adjacent spouts during operation. Therefore, the device is designed such that during operation, at least one internal striker, located between the outer strikers, passes between (directly) adjacent spouts.

[0034] Furthermore, the invention relates not only to the described separating device or the described separator, but also to an apparatus for producing briquettes equipped with such a separator. The apparatus has at least one briquetting press, in particular a hot briquetting press, by means of which, in the described manner, at least one briquette strip of the described type is continuously produced, having respectively at least three, for example, respectively three or four briquettes (or even more than four briquettes) next to each other in briquette rows. In addition, the apparatus has at least one separating device of the described type, located downstream of the briquetting press and, for example, below the briquetting press, which serves to separate the briquetting strip exiting the briquetting press. Therefore, the separating device, which is essential for the invention, is also protected as a component of the briquetting device and, consequently, in combination with the attached briquetting press.

[0035] Preferably, the invention relates to the briquetting of hot material and, therefore, to hot briquetting. Particularly preferably, the invention relates to the hot briquetting of direct reduced iron and, therefore, to the production of hot briquetted iron (HBI). However, the invention can be used for briquetting or for separating briquette strips from other materials.

[0047] Figure 1 shows a briquetting apparatus and, consequently, an apparatus for producing briquettes, intended, in particular, for hot briquetting. This apparatus has a briquetting press 1, equipped with two briquetting rollers 2 rotating in opposite directions, wherein the surfaces of the briquetting rollers 2 are provided with forming recesses 3 for forming briquettes. From a gap 4 between the rollers of the briquetting press, a briquette strip 5 continuously emerges, which is broken off in a separating device 6 located behind the briquetting press 1, i.e. the briquette strip is separated into individual briquettes 7. This separating device 6, which is a component of the apparatus shown in Figure 1, is shown in detail in Figures 2-8.

[0048] The briquetting press 1 is designed according to the invention for producing a briquette strip 5, the briquette rows 5a of which, arranged one behind the other, have in the longitudinal direction L at least three, preferably at least four adjacent briquettes 7. For this, the rollers 2 of the briquetting press 1 are provided with a plurality of rows 3a of moulding recesses 3 along the circumference, wherein each row 3a has, in an example of embodiment of the invention, four moulding recesses 3, respectively, so that the described and, for example, shown in Fig.8 briquette strip 5, consisting of four columns 5b for briquettes continuing in the longitudinal direction L and of a plurality of briquette rows 5a arranged one after the other in the longitudinal direction L (for example, respectively with four adjacent briquettes 7), wherein the briquette rows arranged one after the other are connected by transverse crossbars 8a, in particular crossbars in the transverse direction, and the adjacent briquettes 7 of each individual briquette row 5a and, consequently, also the columns 5b of briquettes of the strip 5 are connected by longitudinal crossbars 8b.

[0049] The separating and cutting device 6 for separating the briquette strip 5 consists, in an example of the embodiment of the invention, on the one hand, of a moving impact device 9, and, on the other hand, of a feeding device 10, with the help of which the briquette strip 5 can be fed in the direction T of transport into the zone of the impact device 9 (see, for example, Fig. 2). The striking device 9 is provided, in an embodiment of the invention, with a rotating striking drum 11, wherein this striking drum 11 has a plurality of rows 12 of striking elements distributed around the circumference, respectively with several striking elements 13 arranged in a row. This rotating striking drum 11 strikes the supplied briquette strip 5 with the striking elements 13 so that, on the one hand, a briquette row 5a is cut off from the briquette strip 5, and, on the other hand, the briquette row 5a is divided into individual briquettes 7.According to the invention, the striking device 9, on the one hand, and / or the feeding device 10, on the other hand, are designed to break off a briquette strip 5 with four adjacent columns 5b of briquettes and, consequently, with briquette rows 5a arranged one after the other, having at least four adjacent briquettes 7, respectively. In the illustrated embodiment of the invention, both the striking device 9 (i.e., the striking drum 11) and the feeding device 10 are adapted to the shape of the briquette strip 5 with four adjacent briquettes 7. For this purpose, the striking device 9 or the striking drum 11 has at least three adjacent strikers 13. In the illustrated embodiments of the invention, either three or four adjacent strikers 13 are provided. We will return to this in more detail later. The feeding device 10 has, as is known, essentially, on the end side, a striking edge 14 for cutting off the briquette rows 5a.Moreover, the feeding device is designed in the form of an inclined chute for the material or it has such an inclined chute 15 for the material. In addition, the feeding device 10 may have a pressing device (not shown) that presses the briquette strip 5 against the inclined chute 15 for the material to prevent deviation or delamination. The end of the inclined chute 15 for the material forms an impact edge 14, with the help of which the briquette rows 5a are cut off by a rotating impact drum 11, so that the briquette bars in the form of briquette rows 5a are simultaneously separated. According to the invention, in the section of the impact edge 14 or below the impact edge 14, several spouts 16 or projections are provided, and, in particular, so that when the impactors 13 strike the separated briquette row 5a, this briquette row 5a is broken into individual briquettes 7.When the strikers 13 act on the end of the briquette strip 5, the transverse bridges 8a are separated, as a consequence, on the one hand, on the striking edge 14 between the briquette rows 5a, and, on the other hand, on the spouts 16, the longitudinal bridges 8 b are separated between the individual briquettes 7 of the briquette row 5a.

[0050] In the illustrated embodiments of the invention, the number n of strikers 13 in the striker 9 is one unit greater than the number m of spouts 16 in the corresponding feeder 10, i.e., the following applies: n = m + 1, in particular in the embodiments of the invention with n = 3 or n = 4.

[0051] In the illustrated embodiments of the invention, the number n of strikers 13 in the striking device 9 is equal to the number b of briquettes 7 in the individual briquette rows 5a, i.e. n = b is applied. The number m of spouts 16 in the feeding device 10 is less than the number b of briquettes 7 in the briquette rows 5a, i.e. m = b - 1. b ≥ 3 or b ≥ 4 is applied. Figures 3 - 6B show embodiments of the invention with b = 4 and, respectively, with m = 3. Figures 7 and 8 show an embodiment with b = 3 and, respectively, with m = 2. Consequently, b can be even or odd. Preferably, each individual briquette of a briquette row is provided with a separate striker 13, and each jumper 8b of material between two adjacent briquettes of a briquette row is provided with a separate spout 16.

[0052] Based on these general parameters, in figures 3, 4a, 4b, on the one hand, and in figures 5, 6a and 6b, on the other hand, two embodiments of embodiment A are shown, in which the striking device 9 has a plurality of rows 12 with four striking elements 13, respectively, while the feeding device 10 has three adjacent spouts 16. In these embodiments, each striking element 13 of the row 12 striking elements is attached to a briquette 7 of the briquette row 5a. Each individual spout 16 is attached to a material web, in particular, a longitudinal web 8b inside the briquette row 5a, i.e. a longitudinal web 8b between two adjacent briquettes 7 inside the briquette row 5a. Thus, in these figures it is visible that during the rotation of the striking drum 11, the row 12 of striking elements strikes the adjacent striking elements 13 on the briquette row 5a with four briquettes 7, in particular, towards the three spouts 16 located below the striking edge 14, so that the briquette row 5a is separated. The same applies to the embodiment according to figures 5, 6a and 6b.

[0053] The embodiments according to Fig. 3 (or 4a, 4b), on the one hand, and Fig. 5 (or Fig. 6a and 6b, on the other hand) differ in the arrangement of the three spouts 16 along the working direction R. For this purpose, let us turn to a comparative examination of these figures. It can be seen that in the embodiment according to Fig. 3 (or 4a, 4b), both outer spouts 16 are located in front of the central, inner spout 16 in the working direction R, i.e., the inner spout 16 is located in relation to the outer spouts 16 in the working direction R at the rear and, therefore, is located a given distance below the outer spouts. This can also be seen in a comparative examination of Fig. 4a and 4b, wherein in Fig. 4a one of the outer spouts can be seen, and in Fig. 4b, in comparison with it, the lowered central spout.

[0054] In contrast to this, in the embodiment according to Figures 5 (or 6a, 6b), the outer spouts 16 are lowered compared to the inner spout 16, i.e., the middle spout is located in front of the outer spouts and, therefore, is located higher. This again follows from a comparative observation of Figures 6a and 6b, wherein Figure 6a again shows one of the outer spouts, and Figure 6b - the middle spout.

[0055] Furthermore, in the embodiments according to figures 3 and 5 and 6a, a special alignment of the outer spouts 16 is provided, since these outer spouts 16 or their inner guide surfaces are beveled, so that between the outer spouts 16 and the inner spout 16, a distance X expanding in the working direction R is created, accordingly, to which the separated briquettes 7 are removed. In particular, thanks to the combination of such a beveled position, on the one hand, and an offset arrangement, on the other hand, it is possible to provide a sufficient intermediate space between the spouts 16, thanks to which a perfect removal of individual briquettes 7 can be carried out without jamming or clogging, leading to downtime of the device. In this case, the spouts 16 themselves can be installed at an angle (or curved or warped) or have correspondingly (internal) beveled (or curved, or bent) guide surfaces 16a, for example, realized by the fact that the spouts 16 themselves can have an uneven thickness and taper in the working or transport direction.

[0056] Figures 7 and 8 show another, particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, which in its fundamental design and its functions is similar to the embodiments already explained. However, this device is designed for dividing a briquette strip with briquette rows having three briquettes 7 arranged next to each other. The striking device 9 has three strikers 13, and the feeding device 10 has two spouts 16, wherein each striker 13 is attached to a briquette 7 of a briquette row 5a and each spout 16 is attached to a corresponding material bridge 8b located between two adjacent briquettes 7. Also in this embodiment, both spouts 16 are designed or directed such that a distance X expanding in the working direction R is formed between these spouts 16, through which the separated briquettes are removed. An embodiment is shown in which both spouts 16 are installed at an angle in opposite directions, so that an expanding distance X is formed. Therefore, in this embodiment, the advantages already mentioned in connection with the other embodiments are also achieved. However, as an alternative, it is also possible for the spouts 16 not to be mounted completely at an angle (or alternatively also bent / curved in opposite directions), but to have a single internal, beveled or curved guide surface, which can be achieved, for example, by the spouts themselves having an uneven thickness and tapering in the transport or working direction.

[0057] As an alternative to the depicted angled spout arrangement, a curved or twisted spout shape is also considered. It is always important that the shape and / or arrangement of the spouts (or at least one spout) create an expanding space for the briquette in the transport direction.

[0058] Furthermore, it can be seen from the figures that in all embodiments, the strikers 13 and the spouts 16 are realized and arranged so that at least one inner striker located between the outer strikers can pass between two adjacent spouts, and, therefore, pass during operation. Thus, for example, in the form of the embodiment according to Figures 3 and 5, it is ensured that one of the inner strikers 13, located between both outer strikers 13, passes through the intermediate spaces between respectively two adjacent spouts 16. Consequently, both inner briquettes 7 of the briquette row 8B fall not only simply through the intermediate space between the central spout and respectively the outer spout 16, but they pass with the help of the inner strikers 13 between the spouts. This improves or ensures the removal of the briquettes. The same also applies to the embodiment according to Fig.7, since in it too the internal striker passes through two adjacent noses.

[0059] In a briquette strip with briquette rows, or with three adjacent briquettes, as an alternative to the embodiments proposed according to the invention, an embodiment with only two strikers and two spouts would essentially also be possible, wherein both strikers would be attached to both outer briquettes, and both spouts to both material bridges. In such an embodiment, the middle briquette would fall between both adjacent spouts, without the striker passing through both adjacent spouts and capturing the middle briquette. Compared to such an embodiment with only two strikers, the embodiments proposed according to the invention, in which, particularly preferably, one striker passes through two adjacent spouts, ensure better briquette removal.

[0060] The striking drum 11 is made, in a manner essentially known, in the form of a rotor or striking rotor, in particular with the described rows 12 of striking elements, with three or four striking elements 13 in each. Each individual striking element 13 consists of a fastening device 13a or a locking projection molded to the striking drum 11 and of one striking plate 13b connected to the locking projection 13a, wherein the striking plates 13b are secured to the locking projections 13a with the possibility of disconnection, for example, by means of screws, so that the striking plates 13b can be replaced as wearing parts. This is known from the prior art. Within the scope of the invention, the spouts 16 can also be replaceable wearing parts.

[0061] Furthermore, according to the invention, the strikers 13 located in the striker row 12, and consequently also their striker plates 13b, may have different widths. In particular, it is possible that, for only three strikers 13, the middle striker 13 has a greater or smaller width than the two outer strikers 13.

[0062] The figures always depict embodiments in which each briquette is provided with a striker 13 and each bridge 8b between two briquettes is provided with a spout 16. However, the invention also does not include the depicted embodiments in which, in addition to the briquettes shown in the figures, other briquettes, strikers, or spouts are provided, executed in a modified embodiment and / or arrangement. Thus, for example, additional sections may be provided in which the striker 13 is directly attached to the briquette, and the striker, for example, may also be attached to a pair of briquettes, while the striker operates together on two adjacent briquettes and thus strikes the bridge or the separation point between two adjacent briquettes. In addition to the symmetrical arrangements of the device depicted in the figures, other strikers in an asymmetrical shape and / or other spouts, executed in a manner not described, may therefore be additionally provided.

[0063] At least one spout is always provided, designed or oriented in such a way, for example, at an angle, that it reduces the risk to the briquette attached to the spout. The general idea of the invention can be formulated as follows:

[0064] If (a) a briquette is provided with a striker, and (b) both bridges for this briquette are provided with a spout, and if, in addition, one of these two conditions (a) does not apply, or (b) does not apply for at least one briquette adjacent to this briquette, then the spout located on this side is made in the manner proposed in accordance with the invention and / or is directed and therefore installed at an angle, for example, such that the risk of jamming is reduced for this briquette.
