[0068] DETAILED DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION
[0069] The present invention will be explained in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments.
[0070] Embodiment 1
[0071] Embodiments of the present invention disclose a pressure relief device that implements hot replacement of a rupture disc. As shown in FIGS. 2-5, the pressure relief device comprises a flow channel, a clamping mechanism 1, a switching mechanism 5, a first sliding plate assembly 2, a second sliding plate assembly 3, and a connecting device 4.
[0072] The first sliding plate assembly 2 comprises the first rupture disc 202, and the second sliding plate assembly 3 comprises the second rupture disc 302. The flow channel is configured to discharge the flow and is formed by at least two valve bodies 101. The first rupture disc 202 or the second rupture disc 302 is located between the two valve bodies 101, that is, the first rupture disc 202 or the second rupture disc 302 is located within the flow channel. The connecting device 4 is releasably connected between the first sliding plate assembly 2 and the second sliding plate assembly 3. The clamping mechanism 1 is installed between the two valve bodies 101 and is configured to move the two valve bodies 101 towards or away from each other. The switching mechanism 5 is installed between the valve body 101 and the first unit 2 of the sliding plate and is configured to drive the first unit 2 of the sliding plate and the second unit 3 of the sliding plate in a direction perpendicular to the direction of the flow of the fluid inside the flow channel.
[0073] After the second rupture disc 302 located within the flow channel ruptures, the clamping mechanism 1 moves the two valve bodies 101 away from each other. After this, the switching mechanism 5 drives the first sliding plate assembly 2 and the second sliding plate assembly 3 so that the first rupture disc 202 is located in the flow channel. Then, the clamping mechanism 1 moves the two valve bodies 101 toward each other until the two valve bodies 101 are tightly clamped, and when the two valve bodies 101 are tightly clamped, a seal is formed between the two valve bodies 101 and the second sliding plate assembly 3.
[0074] Subsequently, if the environment in which the flow channel is located allows for the replacement of equipment, in particular, the first sliding plate assembly 2 can be disassembled, and a new first rupture disc 202 can be installed. If the environment in which the flow channel is located is not suitable for the replacement of equipment and other operations, the connection between the switching mechanism 5 and the first sliding plate assembly 2 can be disconnected, and the connection between the first sliding plate assembly 2 and the second sliding plate assembly 3, realized by the connecting device 4, can be disconnected. After this, the first sliding plate assembly 2 can be disassembled, a new first rupture disc 202 can be installed, and finally, the first sliding plate assembly 2 can be reconnected with the second sliding plate assembly 3 by the connecting device 4 and the switching mechanism 5.This allows for convenient replacement of the first bursting disc and the constant use of two bursting discs in the device, i.e. the main bursting disc and the backup bursting disc.
[0075] As shown in FIG. 5, the flow channel is formed by at least two valve bodies 101. The two valve bodies 101 have substantially the same shape. The end of each of the two valve bodies 101 is a pipeline flange 102, and the other end of each of the two valve bodies 101 is an intermediate flange 103 with a sealing surface. The pipeline flange 102 is configured to be connected to the pipeline flange of the system. The first sliding plate assembly 2 and the second sliding plate assembly 3 are located between the two intermediate flanges 103. When the clamping mechanism 1 tightly clamps the two valve bodies 101, a sealing pair is formed between the intermediate flange 103 of each of the two valve bodies 101 and the first sliding plate assembly 2 or the second sliding plate assembly 3.
[0076] As shown in FIG. 2, the clamping mechanism 1 is an eccentric drive mechanism, in particular, comprising a clamping block assembly, a first main drive shaft 104, a second main drive shaft 105, a first auxiliary drive shaft 106, a second auxiliary drive shaft 107, an eccentric shaft link 108, a crank 109 and a crank joint 110. The clamping block assembly comprises two left longitudinal clamping blocks 111 and two right longitudinal clamping blocks 112. The left clamping blocks 111 are located between the flange 102 of the pipeline of the left valve body 101 and the intermediate flange 103 of the left valve body 101. The right clamping blocks 112 are located between the flange 102 of the pipeline of the right valve body 101 and the intermediate flange 103 of the right valve body 101.The left pressure blocks 111 and the right pressure blocks 112 are pressed against the intermediate flange 103 of the left valve housing 101 and the intermediate flange 103 of the right valve housing 101 from both sides of the valve housings, respectively, and are connected to them. The two left pressure blocks 111 are connected in series by the vertically arranged first main drive shaft 104 and the second main drive shaft 105. The two right pressure blocks 112 are connected in series by the vertically arranged first auxiliary drive shaft 106 and the second auxiliary drive shaft 107. The first main drive shaft 104 and the second main drive shaft 105 are eccentric rods, and the first auxiliary drive shaft 106 and the second auxiliary drive shaft 107 are concentric rods. Each of the two ends of the first main drive shaft 104 and each of the two ends of the first auxiliary drive shaft 106 are respectively connected in series by two parallel eccentric shaft links, and each of the two ends of the second main drive shaft 105 and each of the two ends of the second auxiliary drive shaft 107 are respectively connected in series by two parallel eccentric shaft links. One end of the first main drive shaft 104 is connected to the drive mechanism, and the other end of the first main drive shaft 104 is connected to the second main drive shaft 105 by means of a crank link 110. The two ends of the crank connection 110 are attached to the crank 109 by means of shafts with pins. The crank 109 is mounted on a part of the main drive shaft located outside the eccentric shaft links. The two ends of the two main drive shafts and the two ends of the two auxiliary drive shafts are secured with cotter pins.
[0077] When an external force causes the end of the first main drive shaft 104 to rotate clockwise, the first main drive shaft 104 causes the second main drive shaft 105 to rotate by means of a crank connected to the first main drive shaft 104, the crank joint 110 and the crank are connected to the other end of the crank joint 110. The eccentric rotation of the first main drive shaft 104 and the second main drive shaft 105 forms an eccentricity in which four symmetrical eccentric shaft links pull the right valve body 101 to the left, and the distance between the left valve body 101 and the right valve body 101 continuously decreases. Therefore, the left valve body 101 and the right valve body 101 clamp the first sliding plate assembly 2 or the second sliding plate assembly 3, thereby providing a sealing action.
[0078] As shown in FIG. 2 and 5, the switching mechanism 5 includes a lifting frame 501, a valve stem nut 502, a valve stem 503, a lifting flywheel 504, rolling bearings 505, a bearing cap 506 and a journal 507 in a fork. The lifting frame 501 is mounted on an intermediate flange 103 of a valve body 101. The valve stem nut 502 includes a stop, and the rolling bearings 505 are located on both sides of the stop. The bearing cap 506 presses the rolling bearings 505, pressing the valve stem nut 502 to the lifting frame 501, as a result of which the valve stem nut 502 does not move in the axial direction and can only rotate. The upper section of the valve stem nut 502 is connected to a lifting handwheel 504 to rotate the valve stem nut 502. The valve stem nut 502 has an internal thread that matches the trapezoidal external thread of the valve stem 503. The valve stem 503 is moved up and down by rotating the valve stem nut 502.The lower end of the valve stem 503 is connected to the journal 507 in the fork. A groove is provided at the end of the journal 507 in the fork, the first lower holder 203 contains a connecting part, and the connecting part is inserted into the groove. The journal 507 in the fork and the first lower holder 203 are connected together by a bolt and a nut, that is, the bolt passes through the journal 507 in the fork and the connecting part, and the nut is threadedly connected to the end of the bolt. The journal 507 in the fork is connected to an indicator rod connected to the lifting frame 501 with the ability to move along the axial direction of the valve stem 503. Thus, the valve stem 503 drives the lifting frame and the sliding plates to move together upward or downward.
[0079] The first sliding plate assembly 2 and the second sliding plate assembly 3 are arranged perpendicular to the flow direction of the fluid in the flow channel, and the first sliding plate assembly 2 and the second sliding plate assembly 3 are arranged in the same plane. The first sliding plate assembly 2 is connected to the transfer mechanism 5 by bolts. When the flywheel rotates, the transfer mechanism 5 drives the first sliding plate assembly 2 and the second sliding plate assembly 3 in a direction perpendicular to the flow channel.
[0080] As shown in FIG. 6, the first sliding plate assembly 2 includes a first upper holder 201 and a first lower holder 203. The first rupture disc 202 is located between the first upper holder 201 and the first lower holder 203, and the first upper holder 201 is releasably connected to the first lower holder 203. The second sliding plate assembly 3 includes a second upper holder 301 and a second lower holder 303. The second rupture disc 302 is located between the second upper holder 301 and the second lower holder 303, and the second upper holder 301 is releasably connected to the second lower holder 303.
[0081] In particular, several first bolts 205 connect the first upper holder 201 with the first lower holder 203, and the second upper holder 301 with the second lower holder 303. Each of the first bolts 205 passes through the first and second upper holder through the countersunk hole 306 and is connected by a threaded connection with the first and second lower holders. Several first bolts 205 are evenly distributed along the edge of the first upper holder 201 and the edge of the second upper holder 301. The first upper holder 201, the first bursting disc 202 and the first lower holder 203 are pre-compressed with each other by the first bolts 205. Similarly, the second upper holder 301, the second bursting disc 302 and the second lower holder 303 are pre-compressed with each other by the first bolts 205. The first lower holder 203 and the second lower holder 303 are essentially identical.
[0082] The connecting device 4 is installed between the first lower holder 203 and the second lower holder 303.
[0083] In particular, the connecting device 4 may include a connecting bolt 204. The middle portions of the opposite surfaces of the first lower holder 203 and the second lower holder 303 include threaded holes 304. The two ends of the connecting bolt 204 are connected by a threaded connection with the threaded hole 304 of the first lower holder 203 and the threaded hole 304 of the second lower holder 303, respectively. Two lock nuts 207 are screwed onto the thread on the outside of the connecting bolt 204. After connecting the first lower holder 203 and the second lower holder 303 with the connecting bolt 204, the two lock nuts 207 are rotated until they are pressed against the first lower holder 203 and the second lower holder 303, respectively, thereby increasing the stability of the connection between the connecting bolt 204 and the first sliding plate assembly 2 and the second sliding plate assembly 3.
[0084] In addition, a positioning device is provided between the first sliding plate unit 2 and the second sliding plate unit 3, which ensures that the first sliding plate unit 2 and the second sliding plate unit 3 are positioned in the same plane.
[0085] As shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, the positioning device comprises a first groove 212, a second groove 305, and a positioning recognition key 210. The side of the first lower holder 203 facing the first rupture disc 202 contains the first groove 212. The side of the second lower holder 303 facing the second rupture disc 302 contains the second groove 305. One end of the position recognition key 210 is placed in the first groove 212, and the other end of the position recognition key 210 is placed in the second groove 305. The first groove 212 is located on the edge of the surface of the first lower holder 203 opposite the second lower holder 303, that is, between the position recognition key 210 and the connecting bolt 204 there is a large distance, which guarantees the positioning accuracy of the position recognition key 210 and facilitates the use of the position recognition key 210.
[0086] The first lower holder 203 has a hole for installing a positioning pin 211. At the end of the positioning recognition key 210, a connecting hole 215 is provided. The positioning pin 211 passes through the connecting hole 215, and the two ends of the positioning pin 211 are inserted into the first lower holder 203, thereby rotatably connecting the positioning recognition key 210 with the first lower holder 203. The positioning recognition key 210 comprises a middle portion 213 and thin portions 214 at both ends of the middle portion 213. The width of the middle portion 213 exceeds the width of each of the thin portions 214. The width of the middle portion 213 is equal to the installation distance between the first lower holder 203 and the second lower holder 303. The width of each thin portion 214 corresponds to the width of the first groove 212 and the second groove 305.If the installation distance between the first lower holder 203 and the second lower holder 303 corresponds, and the first lower holder 203 and the second lower holder 303 are in the same plane, the positioning recognition key 210 can be smoothly rotated into the second groove 305 of the opposite second lower holder 303. This prevents a situation in which the first lower holder 203 and the second lower holder 303 are not connected in place by the connecting bolt 204. The positioning recognition key 210 has a rectangular cross-section, which ensures the flatness of the lower holder during installation and the possibility of installing the first lower holder 203 and the second lower holder 303 in the same horizontal plane at an appropriate distance.
[0087] The connection between the first lower holder 203 and the second lower holder 303 according to the present invention can be made in embodiments other than the connection by the bolt 204.
[0088] For example, in particular, as shown in FIG. 10, the connecting device 4 may further comprise a support plate 6. The first lower holder 203 and the second lower holder 303 can be connected to the support plate 6 of a suitable size by bolts, respectively, so as to form an integrated structure. Sealing grooves are provided in both the upper and lower parts of the support plate 6, and the upper seal and the lower seal can be realized by adding sealing gaskets. The distance between the first lower holder 203 and the second lower holder 303 is fixed with bolts on the support plate 6. This solution is characterized by simplicity and convenience, high standardization of parts, and only requires additional sealing between the first lower holder, the second lower holder, and the support plate 6.
[0089] As shown in FIG. 12, the cross-section of the first lower holder 203 and the second lower holder 303 can also be changed compared to the annular shape in FIG. 11, and can have a T-shape as shown in FIG. 12. That is, the support plate 6 includes a mounting groove 61, and the side of the first lower holder 203 facing the support plate 6 and the side of the second lower holder 303 facing the support plate 6 include a projection 7 corresponding to the mounting groove. This is equivalent to adding a guide section between the lower holders and the support plate 6, which facilitates positioning and assembly, and eliminates the need for a seal between the lower holders and the support plate 6.
[0090] When connecting device 4 uses connecting bolt 204, compared with a snap-type connection, the loosening of connecting bolt 204 is practically not observed. When switching mechanism 5 jointly moves the first sliding plate assembly 2 and the second sliding plate assembly 3 to switch the rupture disc, the positioning accuracy of the rupture disc is improved.
[0091] As shown in FIG. 7, the first lower holder 203 and the second lower holder 303 are connected to the limit plate 206 by bolts. The end of the first lower holder 203 facing away from the second lower holder 303 is connected to the limit plate 206, and the end of the second lower holder 303 facing away from the first lower holder 203 is connected to the limit plate 206. When the clamping mechanism 1 is released and the rupture disc is switched, the first sliding plate assembly 2 and the second sliding plate assembly 3 are moved until the limit plate 206 contacts the side edge of the valve body 101, which indicates that the rupture disc is moved to the correct position that ensures smooth internal flow during rupture of the rupture disc and does not affect the emergency pressure release.
[0092] As shown in FIG. 7, the surface of the first upper holder 201 facing away from the first rupture disc 202 and the surface of the second upper holder 301 facing away from the second rupture disc 302 include an upper annular groove, and the first sealing ring is located in the upper annular groove. The surface of the first upper holder 203 facing away from the first rupture disc 202 and the surface of the second upper holder 303 facing away from the second rupture disc 302 include a lower annular groove, and the second sealing ring is located in the lower annular groove. When the clamping mechanism 1 moves the two valve bodies 101 toward each other, the first sliding plate assembly 2 or the second sliding plate assembly 3 forms a seal with the surfaces of the intermediate flanges 103 of the two valve bodies 101 by means of the first sealing ring and the second sealing ring, which eliminates the presence of hidden invisible sealing rings in the internal mechanism, and in the event of damage to the sealing ring, the first sliding plate assembly 2 and the second sliding plate assembly 3 can be pulled out, which is convenient for hot replacement of the sealing ring.
[0093] The first sealing ring and the second sealing ring may also be other types of seals, such as spiral wound gaskets, sealing blocks, non-metallic gaskets, metal gaskets, or combined double seals.
[0094] The first bursting disc 202 and the second bursting disc 302 may have a different shape, such as a straight arch shape or an inverted arch shape.
[0095] The first bursting disc 202 and the second bursting disc 302 have clear markings to ensure the correct installation direction.
[0096] In normal operation, the clamping mechanism 1 tightly clamps the first sliding plate assembly 2 or the second sliding plate assembly 3 to form a seal, and of the two bursting discs, one is in use and the other is kept in reserve.
[0097] The principle of implementing the proposed invention is as follows. When the second rupture disc 302, which is in operation, is ruptured, the drive handwheel of the clamping mechanism 1 is rotated to move the two valve bodies 101 away from each other and unlock the first sliding plate assembly 2. Then, the lifting handwheel of the transfer mechanism 5 is rotated to smoothly move the first sliding plate assembly 2 and the second sliding plate assembly 3 in a direction perpendicular to the flow channel. By moving the first sliding plate assembly 2 and the second sliding plate assembly 3, the ruptured second rupture disc 302 is pushed out, while the backup first rupture disc 202 is moved until the limiting plate on the side of the backup rupture disc comes into contact with the side edge of the valve body 101, which indicates that the backup first rupture disc 202 has been moved to the correct position.
[0098] The driving handwheel of the clamping mechanism 1 is driven in the reverse direction, causing the clamping mechanism 1 to clamp the second sliding plate assembly 3 to form a seal, thereby achieving the purpose of hot use of the backup rupture disc.
[0099] After completing the above steps, at the site where the first rupture disc 202 can be replaced, the first bolts 205 between the first upper holder 201 and the first lower holder 203 can be loosened, the first upper holder 201 and the first rupture disc 202 can be removed sequentially, and then a new first rupture disc 202 can be installed. The first upper holder 201, the new first rupture disc 202, and the first lower holder 203 can be screwed together with the first bolts 205, which also solves the problem of having one used and one spare rupture disc. Thus, hot replacement of the rupture disc is realized. At the site where the replacement of the bursting disc is not possible, the connecting bolt 204 and the lock nut 207 at the end of the connecting bolt 204 can be loosened, the positioning recognition key 210 can be raised by 90 degrees, and the first lower holder 203 can be disconnected from the switching mechanism 5, see FIG.8 for a detailed condition assessment. After this, the first sliding plate assembly 2 can be directly removed. After replacing the second rupture disc 302, the first sliding plate assembly 2 can be reinstalled, and the positioning recognition key 210 allows for checking the correct installation of the first sliding plate assembly 2.
[0100] According to the present invention, according to the requirements of the technological process at the installation site, two rupture discs can be set to different burst pressures, or one of the rupture discs can be replaced with a plug configured to shut off the pipeline after the rupture of the other rupture disc.
[0101] The working process according to the present invention is realized by manual control of the drive handwheel and the lifting handwheel, but other drive methods, in particular pneumatic, hydraulic or electric, may also be provided for automatic control.

[0103] A first sliding plate assembly 2 is installed between the two valve bodies 101 to implement hot-swappable rupture disc replacement. The two valve bodies 101 are positioned opposite each other and in the flow channel. When the sliding plate assembly 2 is positioned between the two valve bodies 101, the rupture disc provided in the sliding plate assembly 2 is positioned in the flow channel to discharge the flow in the flow channel.
[0104] In FIG. 6, the third sliding plate assembly 2 corresponds to the first sliding plate assembly 2, and the fourth sliding plate assembly 3 corresponds to the second sliding plate assembly 3. The third sliding plate assembly 2 comprises an integrated first rupture disc 202 and an external first mating portion. After the fourth rupture disc 302 ruptures in the fourth sliding plate assembly 3 between the two valve bodies 101, the fourth mating portion of the fourth sliding plate assembly 3 is releasably connected to the first mating portion. The releasable connection is intended to provide communication between the third sliding plate assembly 2 and the fourth sliding plate assembly 3. By “connection” is meant that the movement of the node 2 of the third sliding plate can lead to the movement of the fourth node 3 of the sliding plate, or the movement of the node 3 of the fourth sliding plate can lead to the movement of the node 2 of the third sliding plate. The fourth sliding plate assembly 3 can be extended outward from the two valve bodies 101, and the third sliding plate assembly 2 can be moved into the space between the two valve bodies 101, causing the first rupture disc 202 to be introduced into the flow channel. The first mating portion, or fourth mating portion, is a protrusion, and the corresponding first mating portion, or fourth mating portion, is a recess. The protrusion is a connecting bolt 204, and the recess is a threaded hole 304.
