Adjustable oil-free rotary vane expansion machine and method for regulating its performance

Abstract

FIELD: power engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates in particular to rotary expansion machines with a positive displacement principle of operation and a method for regulating their productivity. An adjustable oil-free rotary-plate expansion machine comprises housing 10 with end covers 11, rotor 1 eccentrically placed in housing 10 with radial grooves and plates 2 located in them, windows and pipes with valves for supplying and discharging working medium 4 and 5. Body 10, end caps 11, rotor 1 and plates 2 form a section. The machine has at least two sections, which are located on common shaft 3. Bodies 10 of all sections contain windows and pipes 4 and 5. Pipes 4 contain shut-off valves 6 and are connected by supply manifold 7 with the possibility of disconnecting and connecting sections. Pipes 5 contain check valves 8 and are connected by discharge manifold 9. The length of at least one section is made different from the length of the other sections.EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of an oil-free rotary vane machine with a stepwise change in its productivity.2 cl, 2 dwg
