Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to mining, in particular to anti-landslide measures that provide for increasing the stability of a landslide-prone slope and preventing the development of landslide deformations.
[0002] A method is known for strengthening a landslide slope by adding weight at the base of the bedrock soil massif [1], in the form of an anchor fastening or buttress, with its location between the landslide ridges at an interval less than the length of the landslide block.
[0003] In this method, the stabilization of the stress state in a landslide-prone native soil massif is created by an additional load located at its base, ensuring the stability of the massif and preventing the formation of new landslide blocks, since the interval between the sections where the additional load is performed is less than the length of the landslide block.
[0004] The disadvantage of this method is that it carries the risk of landslide activation, leading to the formation of new landslide blocks within the massif. This can occur due to changes in the load-bearing conditions of the bedrock from the slope, the occurrence of landslide deformations in inter-landslide ridges, or a decrease in the stability of the massif itself (for example, due to abnormal precipitation or seismic impact). Furthermore, due to the continued risk of landslide activation, the slope area and the plateau edge zone are significantly limited in their subsequent economic use.
[0005] A method for strengthening a landslide slope is known, which includes removing soil masses from the upper part of the slope and creating a mine working that relieves the mass [2].
[0006] The disadvantage of this method is that, although the removal of soil and the creation of a mine working (as well as a more gentle slope) achieves the main goal of reducing shear forces, it does not ensure the prevention of possible activation of further movements of the geomass of the landslide body.
[0007] The closest technical solution in its essence is a method of fixing landslide slopes by immersing injectors into the landslide soils with a step of 1.0–2.5 m along profiles located 1.0–2.5 m from each other and perpendicular to its front of movement, with the injectors deepened 0.5–1.5 m below the plane of sliding of the landslide with the injection of a compacting solution, with the creation of compacted zones around the injectors with a radius of 1.5–2.5 m, which overlap or touch each other in plan and along the depth of the landslide body [3].
[0008] The disadvantage of this method is that modern sealing solutions used in this technical solution are harmful to the environment (due to their toxicity, pH changes, etc.).
[0009] The technical objective of the present invention is to eliminate the above-mentioned disadvantages by controlled increase in the stability of the geomass of a landslide-prone slope to the required level, with the possibility of preserving the qualities of the original landscape of the slope area and the main geochemical properties (chemical composition, pH) of the geomass of the landslide body.
[0010] This is achieved by using nanoparticles to strengthen a landslide-prone slope massif by controlled increase of the stability margin to the required level. This method involves drilling boreholes to a depth exceeding the potential landslide capacity, casing them with pipes to a depth exceeding the potential slip plane. Then, at the slip plane level, holes are drilled in the casing pipes (columns). These holes in the casing pipes (columns) are injected into the geomass of the potential landslide body with an aqueous solution containing needle-shaped nanoparticles, which increase the friction coefficient in the slip plane surface area, thereby increasing the friction coefficient and reducing the risk of landslide occurrence. Furthermore, holes in the casing columns are drilled to half their diameter on the underside of the mountain slope.
[0011] The proposed method is intended for strengthening landslide-prone soil massifs both on mountain slopes and hills [4], where the development of a landslide process is already taking place (for example, in the supraslide ledges of landslide cirques, and in areas of relatively high and steep slopes, the state of which is close to the limit, which do not have the necessary stability).
[0012] The method is carried out as follows (Fig. 1). Initially, in accordance with the data of engineering surveys, an analysis of the stability of the geomassif of the landslide-prone slope 1 is carried out. Then, boreholes 3, with a diameter of 50 mm, are drilled to a depth exceeding the capacity of a possible landslide by 0.5-1.5 m, and casing pipes (columns 4) made of steel or low-pressure polyethylene are placed in them, to a depth of the possible line of the slip mirror 2, and then, at the level of the slip mirror, holes are formed in the casing columns (not shown in the figure), for example, with a diameter of 10 mm, half their diameter, from the lower side of the mountain slope, through which an aqueous solution is supplied (with a volume of 0.5 l per 1 m 2 ), which includes solid needle-shaped nanoparticles (in the form of a hedgehog or other similar shape), made of metals (primarily iron) or polymers.
[0013] When such solutions of nanoparticles 5 spread in the area of the potential sliding mirror, the magnitude of friction of the geomass movement increases, which leads to the suspension of its movement.
