Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to pile drivers designed for driving piles on land, in shallow water and on water.
[0002] A floating self-propelled pile driver is known, containing a basic floating conveyor, a support frame, a portal frame with trolleys and outriggers, pile guides fixed to it, pile driver and anchor winches, floats, hammers, hydraulic equipment, a “multilift” system for lifting the portal frame with pile guides from a horizontal to a vertical position [1].
[0003] The disadvantages of the pile driver are low transportability due to its large weight (28 tons) and overall dimensions in the transport position (about 11x3.3x3.7 m), which requires the use of vehicles with a large carrying capacity and loading space for its transportation, with the possibility of driving only light piles (up to 8 m long and weighing up to 1 ton), a high probability of flooding on water due to the fact that the basic floating transporter has an open hull, as well as a long time for driving piles on land and in shallow water due to the need to support the portal frame on the ground through outriggers at each stop before driving piles.
[0004] The closest analogue is a pile driver, which contains a basic floating conveyor, a pile guide with rear and side braces, as well as a horizontal hydraulic cylinder for lateral movement, a double-drum winch, hydraulic equipment, a support frame and a diesel hammer, a retractable L-shaped frame moved by hydraulic cylinders, to the flanges of which a rotating crossbar of square cross-section is fixed on brackets in the central part with a pile guide carriage [2].
[0005] The disadvantage of the pile driver is its low transportability due to its large weight (28 tons) and overall dimensions in the transport position (about 11x3.3x3.7 m), which requires the use of vehicles with a large carrying capacity and loading space for its transportation, as well as a high probability of flooding on water due to the fact that the basic floating transporter has an open hull.
[0006] The technical result of the invention is to increase the transportability of a floating self-propelled pile driver by reducing its weight and dimensions, as well as reducing the likelihood of it sinking on water.
[0007] The technical result of the invention is achieved in that a floating self-propelled pile driver comprising a hull, a cabin with a seat and a control system, a pair of tracked movers, each including a track belt, a guide wheel, a drive sprocket, support and supporting rollers, a pair of water propellers, a pile driver mast including a lower section, a mechanism for lifting it, a pile driver winch, a hammer, a pair of side floats, a pair of pile drivers, the hull is made closed and sealed, and is also provided with a compartment with a sealed hatch, the height of each tracked mover corresponds to the height of the hull and it is provided with a tracked float located in the space between the elements of the tracked mover, each tracked float is provided with a bracket attached to it by a detachable joint, with a pile driver installed in it with the possibility of vertical movement and fixation, the side float is fixed on the tracked float by a detachable connection,a water propeller is secured to the side float by a detachable joint, the pile driver mast is provided with elements to increase its rigidity secured to it by detachable joints, and an upper section connected to the lower section by a hinge with the ability to rotate the sections from a parallel to a coaxial arrangement and their coaxial rigid connection at the ends by a detachable joint, the rear part of the hull is provided with a hinge with two degrees of freedom, to which the lower section is attached, the mechanism for lifting the pile driver mast includes a pair of hydraulic cylinders located on the hull symmetrically relative to its longitudinal axis and connected to it by a hinge, the top of each hydraulic cylinder is pivotally connected to the lower section near its connection with the upper section, which is provided with a pile winch placed together with the pile driver winch on its top, the hammer is made in the form of a metal array, placed on the pile driver mast with the ability to move vertically along it by means of a flexible traction of the pile driver winch, which has the ability to repeatedly raise and drop the hammer onto the pile. In addition, in the transport position, the hammer, a pair of brackets and a pair of water thrusters are located and secured in the hull compartment, the side floats, the spike piles and the elements increasing the rigidity of the pile driver mast are located and secured on the hull, the upper and lower sections of the pile driver mast are placed parallel and tilted forward, not protruding above the top of the cabin, the seat is in the forward position.
[0008] The essence of the invention is explained by drawings, where Fig. 1 shows a floating self-propelled pile driver in the working position, side view, Fig. 2 shows a floating self-propelled pile driver in the transport position, isometric view, the compartment hatch is not shown.
[0009] The floating self-propelled pile driver (Fig. 1) consists of a body 1, a pair of tracked propellers with a pair of tracked floats 2, a pair of side floats 3, a pair of water propellers 4, a pair of anchor piles 5 with a pair of brackets 6, a cabin 7 and pile driver equipment.
[0010] Hull 1 is closed and sealed. Hull 1 contains the power plant, transmission, and hydraulic equipment for driving the pile driver and water propellers 4.
[0011] In the center of the body 1, at the top, there is a hermetically sealed hatch (not shown in the figures) with a compartment (not indicated in the figures) for storing removable equipment in the transport position.
[0012] A pair of track drives are located on the sides of the body 1, each of them includes a drive sprocket 8, a guide wheel, support rollers 9, supporting rollers 10 and a track 11. A track float 2 is rigidly installed in the space between the tracks and rollers.
[0013] In the working position, a side float 3 on the stern side and a bracket 6 with a spike pile 5 on the bow side are attached to each track float 2 by detachable joints, wherein the spike pile 5 is in the upper position and its tip is above the bottom of the track 11. A water propeller 4 is attached to each side float 3 by a detachable joint.
[0014] The pile driver equipment consists of a pile driver mast, its lifting mechanism, 12 pile driver and 13 pile driver winches with hydraulic drive. The pile driver mast is made collapsible from two sections, the lower 14 and the upper 15, connected by a hinge, as well as a square strut 16 and three pairs of diagonals 17. In the working position, the lower 14 and the upper 15 sections of the pile driver mast are located vertically and coaxially, their ends are rigidly connected by a detachable joint, the square strut 16 is rigidly attached by one vertex to the middle of the pile driver mast from the side of the body 1 perpendicular to its axis, each pair of diagonals 17 is rigidly connected by detachable joints with one end to one of the three free vertices of the square strut 16, with the other end each diagonal is rigidly connected by a detachable joint, respectively, to the lower 14 or upper 15 sections of the pile driver mast.
[0015] At the top of the upper section 15 of the pile driver mast are the pile driver 12 and pile driver 13 winches with hydraulic drives. In the operating position, a falling hammer 18 is connected to the rope of the pile driver winch 12, moving along the pile driver mast from the side opposite the body 1. High-pressure hoses (not shown in the figures) are located inside the lower 14 and upper 15 sections of the pile driver mast for driving the pile driver 12 and pile driver 13 winches.
[0016] The mast lifting mechanism consists of a pair of hydraulic cylinders 19 and a hinge 20. One end of each hydraulic cylinder is connected to the aft section of hull 1 near its side via a two-degree-of-freedom hinge (not shown in the figures), and the other end is connected to the upper part of lower section 14 of the mast via a two-degree-of-freedom hinge (not shown in the figures). Two-degree-of-freedom hinge 20 is mounted on the aft section of hull 1 and connected to the lower part of lower section 14 of the mast.
[0017] Cabin 7 is located in the bow of hull 1. In the front part of cabin 7 there is a group of levers 21 for controlling movement, and in the rear part there is a group of levers 22 for controlling movement and pile driver equipment, in the center of the cabin there is a seat 23 with the ability to rotate around a vertical axis and be fixed in the forward (towards the bow) and rear (towards the stern) positions.
[0018] In the transport position (Fig. 2), the pile driver mast is folded, with the lower 14 and upper 15 sections of the pile driver mast located parallel and inclined towards the cabin 7, the falling hammer 18, a pair of water propellers 4 and a pair of brackets 6 are placed and secured in a compartment (not shown in the figures) of the hull 1, its hatch (not shown in the figures) is closed, a pair of side floats 3, a pair of anchor piles 5, a square spacer 16 and three pairs of diagonals 17 are placed and secured on the hull 1, the seat 23 is fixed in the forward position.
[0019] The floating self-propelled pile driver is transported to the pile driving site in the transport position on a flatbed truck or a two-axle trailer and unloaded from it on dry land by itself along ramps or with the help of a crane.
[0020] Then seat 23 is rotated 180°, locked in the rear (stern) position, and the pile driver is moved into the working position as follows. First, the folded pile driver mast is raised above the level of cabin 7, upper section 15 is rotated 180°, and the ends of the lower 14 and upper 15 sections of the pile driver mast are rigidly connected with a detachable joint. Next, square brace 16 and diagonal braces 17 are installed on the pile driver mast and connected with detachable joints.
[0021] Then the pile driver mast is raised to a position so that the pile winch 13 is located above the left side float 3, the rope of the pile winch 13 is slinged to it, the left side float 3 is raised and installed on the left track float 2. After this, the right side float 3 is installed in a similar manner.
[0022] Then the hatch is removed from the compartment of the hull 1, the pile driver mast is moved to a position so that the pile winch 13 is located above the compartment of the hull 1, and with its help the brackets 6 are unloaded from the compartment and installed on the track floats 2, after which the pile drivers 5 are inserted into them in the upper position,
[0023] After this, using the pile winch 13, water propellers 4 are unloaded from the hull compartment 1 and installed on the side floats 3, and high-pressure hoses (not shown in the figures) are connected to them for their drive.
[0024] Then, the falling hammer 18 is removed from the hull compartment 1 using the pile driver winch 13 and placed on the ground. The pile driver is moved so that the falling hammer 18 is positioned in front of the pile driver mast, and using the rope of the pile driver winch 12, the falling hammer 18 is raised and placed on the pile driver mast, allowing vertical movement along it.
[0025] Pile driving is performed as follows. The pile driver approaches the pile lying on dry land. The drop hammer 18 is raised up the pile driver mast by the rope of the pile driver winch 12. The rope of the pile driver winch 13 is connected to the pile lying on the ground and lifts it to a vertical position. The pile is then attached to the pile driver mast, allowing for vertical movement. Then the pile driver moves to the place where the pile is driven on the water, where in shallow water the pile driver moves by means of caterpillar propellers, and in deep water, when the caterpillars 11 do not rest on the ground, by means of water propellers 4. Above the place where the piles are driven in shallow water, when the caterpillars 11 rest on the ground, the pile is lowered onto the ground by means of the pile winch 13, set in a vertical position by means of hydraulic cylinders 19, the rope of the pile winch 13 is disconnected from it, and the falling hammer 18, by means of its repeated lifting and dropping by the pile driver winch 12, drives the pile into the ground.
[0026] Above the pile driving site in deep water, when the tracks 11 do not rest on the ground, the anchor piles 5 are first lowered onto the ground, fixing the pile driver from moving in the plan, after which the operations described above are performed.
[0027] After driving a pile, the pile driver returns to the dry land, lifts the next pile, and moves to the next pile driving location. If the pile driver is afloat, the 5 pile drivers are lifted and secured in the upper position. Piles can also be transported directly to the driving location using additional vehicles, including floating ones.
[0028] For driving piles in shallow water, when it is not intended to use the pile driver afloat, the side floats 3, water propellers 4 and brackets 6 with driving piles 5 may not be installed.
[0029] After driving all the piles, the pile driver returns to the dry land, is transferred to the transport position, performing the operations for transferring to the working position in the reverse order and is loaded onto a flatbed truck or a two-axle trailer by itself along ramps or using a crane for transportation to the next pile driving site or to its storage location.
