Description

[0001] This group of technical solutions relates to the field of construction, in particular to underground structures such as manholes, access holes, hatches, manhole covers and manhole closure devices, and cable ducts leading to manholes and used primarily for the installation, repair, and inspection of communication equipment. Specifically, this group of technical solutions relates to the design of communication cable duct manholes and the cable ducts leading to them. Manholes are designed for the installation, installation, and maintenance of communication cables and their junctions (branches). The design of communication line cable ducts can vary. Cable ducts can be constructed using asbestos-cement, chrysotile-cement, or concrete pipes of round or rectangular cross-section, or polymer pipes (smooth-walled, with a corrugated sheath, or spiral).

[0002] A cable duct manhole is known, comprising a monolithic body, a cover for the body's neck, and cable entries on at least two sides of the body, made of plastic, characterized in that it is provided with a collapsible frame made of steel strands, and the body is provided with external stiffening ribs made with grooves on the inside, in which the strands of the frame are placed, wherein the width and height of the body and the diameter of the neck are selected so as to ensure the possibility of accommodating a person inside the body. For this manhole, a method for introducing pipes into it is provided, in which, when inserting a plastic pipe, the bottom of the branch pipe is opened, the pipe is inserted into the manhole branch pipe, and then the pipe is sealed in the manhole branch pipe with heat-shrinkable tubing (RU 88713 U1, 20.11.2009).

[0003] A cable duct manhole is known, comprising a hollow body with a neck and cable entries, made as a single unit to form a monolithic structure, inside which a collapsible frame, a neck cover and cable entries are placed, characterized in that the hollow body is made predominantly in the form of a body of revolution with a vertical axis, on the surface of which flattening zones with cable entries and support formations are located, wherein at least two support formations are adjacent to the neck of the body, and two are located on the supporting surface of the body. For this manhole, a method for introducing pipes into it is also provided, in which, when inserting a plastic pipe, the bottom of the branch pipe is opened, the pipe is inserted into the manhole branch pipe, then the pipe is sealed in the manhole branch pipe with a heat-shrinkable tube (RU 144392 U1, 20.08.2014).

[0004] A cable duct manhole is known, characterized by its multifaceted design and consisting of two volumetric parts: an upper part with an opening in the top wall for installing a hatch, and a lower part with a flat bottom, side walls, and end walls. Vertical recesses are made in the corners of the upper and lower parts from the joint, in which connecting rods are placed. This manhole is designed for pipe insertion, in which asbestos-cement (chrysotile-cement) pipes are inserted into a concrete inspection manhole with niches located in the side walls through through-passages made in them. When inserting a large number of pipes, the niche passage can be expanded by mechanically removing part of the niche walls. When asbestos-cement pipes are inserted into the well passage, the unfilled cavities between the pipes and the well are filled with brickwork and cement mortar (RU 178517 U1, 06.04.2018).

[0005] Previous technical solutions do not allow for the insertion of spiral polymer pipes into manholes without the use of cement mortar or heat-shrink tubing. However, the use of spiral pipes improves the tightness and versatility of connections when installing cable ducts.

[0006] The technical problem is the task of ensuring the introduction of a polymer spiral pipe into a well without the use of cement mortar or heat-shrinkable tubes and, as a result, reducing labor intensity and material consumption, ensuring the convenience of introducing the pipe into the well, and reducing the requirements for the qualifications of the operating personnel.

[0007] The technical result of the present group of inventions is to simplify the process of inserting a spiral polymer cable duct pipe into an inspection well while ensuring the necessary tightness of the connections.

[0008] The technical result is achieved by a cable duct inspection chamber comprising a housing with a neck, walls, and a bottom. At least one through-hole is formed in at least one wall of the housing. A spiral groove is formed on the inner surface of the opening for a threaded connection to a spiral pipe.

[0009] The housing may consist of several elements, with a recess in the housing wall at the opening location. A spiral groove on the inner surface of the opening in the well wall may be formed using an insert and rigidly connected to the well wall. The width of the inserts is equal to or greater than the depth of the through round holes in which they are located.

[0010] The technical result is also achieved by several options for the method of inserting the pipe into the inspection well.

[0011] The first variant of the method is characterized by the fact that a section of polymer spiral pipe is screwed into an insert located in the opening of the well body, a spiral coupling is screwed onto the pipe section from the outside, and then the coupling is screwed onto the spiral pipe of the main course of the cable duct in such a way that one part of the coupling is located on the pipe section, and the other on the main course pipe.

[0012] The second variant of the method is characterized by the fact that a section of polymer spiral pipe is screwed into an insert located in the opening of the well body, a spiral coupling is screwed onto the spiral pipe of the main course of the cable duct from the outside, and then the coupling is screwed onto the section of pipe in such a way that one part of the coupling is located on the section of pipe, and the other on the pipe of the main course.

[0013] The third variant of the method is characterized by the fact that an adapter having a cylindrical shape and spiral thread elements on the outer cylindrical surface is screwed from the inside into the insert located in the opening of the well body, and then the adapter is screwed into the spiral polymer cable duct pipe until the adapter flange rests against the inner surface of the well wall, and the pipe rests against the outer surface of the well wall.

[0014] The technical result is also achieved by an adapter for inserting a spiral pipe into a cable duct inspection well, characterized by the fact that it is a hollow cylinder, on the outer surface of which spiral thread elements are made, while one of the ends of the adapter has a flange.

[0015] The adapter may have a removable plug on the flange side. The flange may have a shaped protrusion with at least one hook.

[0021] Fig. 6 shows a sectional view of the cable duct inspection well in the working position (in the ground with pipes connected).

[0023] Fig. 8 shows a general view of the cable duct inspection well in the working position (in the ground with pipes connected).

[0024] Fig. 9 shows a diagram explaining the methods for inserting a pipe into an inspection well according to the first and second options.

[0025] Fig. 10 shows views of the adapter for inserting a spiral pipe into a cable duct inspection well (with and without a plug).

[0026] Fig. 11 is a diagram explaining the method of inserting a pipe into an inspection well according to the third option.

[0027] A cable duct inspection manhole comprises a body 1 with a neck 2, walls 3, and a bottom 4. The manhole body is preferably made of concrete, but may also be made of composite materials or plastic, including sand-polymer composites. Round through holes 5 are formed in the walls 3 of the body 1, each with an internal spiral groove for a threaded connection. The threads on the internal surface of the holes 5 may be made directly on the material of the wall 3 of the body 1 itself (that is, on concrete or another possible wall material, such as a composite), or using an insert 6 located in the hole 5.

[0028] Inserts 6, if used, are mounted into the housing walls 3 during its manufacture, ensuring a rigid connection between the inserts and the opening walls. The inserts themselves are preferably made of a polymer material. To improve the tightness of the connections, the width of the inserts 6 is equal to or greater than the depth of the through round openings 5 in which they are located.

[0029] The well body may consist of several elements, such as lower and upper elements 7 and 8, a manhole assembly 9, and manhole support rings 10 installed on top of the well. In the operating position, the well is submerged in the ground 11. The support rings 10 regulate the depth of the manhole 9 protrusion above the ground surface. Niches 12 of reduced thickness may be made in the walls 3 of the well (to indicate the entry points of sewer pipes into the well).

[0030] The well works as follows.

[0031] The well is immersed in the ground and the ends of the main pipes 13 of the main passage are brought to the openings 5, after which they are connected to the well using a spiral thread located on the inner side of the openings 5 or inserts 6, in one of the proposed ways.

[0032] The first variant of the method for inserting a pipe into a well involves first screwing a section 14 of polymer spiral pipe approximately 15-20 turns long into opening 5. Then, a spiral coupling 15 is screwed onto the outside of section 14 until it rests against wall 3 of the well. The end of pipe 13 of the main passage is brought to the end of coupling 15, after which coupling 15 is screwed from section 14 of pipe onto pipe 13 of the main passage to half the length of coupling 15. This creates a hermetically sealed connection between pipe 13 of the main passage and wall 3 of the well via a thread located on the inside of opening 5 or insert 6, section 14 of pipe, and coupling 15.

[0033] The second method for inserting a pipe into a well involves similar steps, but with the only difference being that coupling 15 is first screwed onto the end of pipe 13 of the main passage, and then screwed onto pipe section 14, previously screwed into opening 5. In this case, one part of coupling 15 is located on pipe section 14, and the other on pipe 13 of the main passage. This results in a sealed connection, similar to the first method, between the main pipe 13 of the main passage and wall 3 of the well via a thread located on the inside of opening 5 or insert 6, pipe section 14, and coupling 15.

[0034] The third variant of the method for inserting a pipe into a well involves using an adapter 16 to connect the end of the main pipe 13 to the wall of the well.

[0035] Adapter 16 for implementing the third embodiment of the method is a cylindrical hollow part, on the outer surface of which elements of a spiral thread 17 are formed. One of the ends of the adapter has a thrust flange 18 with a shaped projection 19. Flange 18 or its shaped projection can be equipped with means for its rotation using a tool, for example, hooks 20. Adapter 16 can have a plug 21 on the side of flange 18. The plug can be formed integrally with the adapter body or be a removable part. When plug 21 is removed, an open passage 22 is formed.

[0036] The third option for inserting a pipe into a well using adapter 16 is as follows.

[0037] Bring the end of the main pipe 13 close to the outer surface of the well wall 3 at the location of the opening 5 and screw the adapter 16 from inside the well into the opening 5, and then into the end of the main pipe 13, until the flange 18 of the adapter rests against the inner surface of the well wall 3 and the end of the main pipe 13 rests against the outer surface of the well wall 3. Rotation of the adapter is carried out using a tool through the hooks 20.

[0038] For additional sealing of joints of spiral pipes, couplings and adapters, it is possible to use sealing materials: adhesives, mastics, pastes, sprays, hardening or water-blocking bandages or fabrics, compounds and other similar materials.

[0039] The use of spiral polymer cable duct pipes increases the reliability and tightness of the cable duct and reduces the labor intensity of its installation.

[0040] The proposed group of inventions allows for quick, simple and reliable insertion of spiral polymer pipes into cable duct inspection wells while ensuring sufficient sealing of the connections.
