Description

[0001] The invention relates to the subject area of designs of radio-electronic equipment (REA), in particular to the design of automated control and diagnostic systems (ACDS) of component parts (CP) of REA of complex technical products, including weapons, military and special equipment.

[0002] The closest technical solution to the claimed device is the design of the automated control system according to the application for invention No. 2025124323 with the priority date of 09 / 03 / 2025, which is taken as a prototype.

[0003] The known prototype design comprises a frame formed by four vertical support posts, rigidly attached to the lower base and upper cover. Rails with variable height pitch are attached to the side posts, supporting shelves that can be extended for use with the automated control system (ACS) and firmly locked when the ACS is in transport position. The shelves accommodate functional equipment units. The input and output circuits of the ACS functional equipment units are connected from their front panels in a transition device—an electrical circuit concentrator (ECC), to which is connected the output connector of a universal adapter, enabling connection of various types of printed circuit boards (PCBs) of replaceable electronic components (REC) to the ACS.

[0004] The universal adapter, according to the prototype design (application no. 2025124323, priority date 03.09.2025), is based on a switching field made from a double-sided printed circuit board. On one side of the board, parallel electrical conductors are connected to the terminals of the adapter's input connector, which is then connected to the connectors of the control object (CO) boards. On the other side of the printed circuit board, a second group of parallel electrical conductors is arranged perpendicularly to the terminals of the second adapter connector, which is connected to the AKMS concentrator via flexible connecting harness conductors.

[0005] Around each intersection of the electrical conductors on each side of the universal adapter board, pairs of contact sockets or pins are positioned so that, when a jumper is inserted into them, an electrical connection is ensured between the corresponding OK connector pin and the required AKCS hub contact. Thus, the universal adapter's switching field, adjustable using replaceable jumpers, ensures the required connection of OK contacts to AKCS channels, replacing the need for specialized replaceable adapters.

[0006] The advantage of this technical solution is the adapter's versatility. The adjustable switching field of the universal adapter ensures the required connection of contacts of different types of SE REA to the ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT channels, replacing the need for specialized, replaceable adapters.

[0007] The disadvantages of the known technical solution adopted as a prototype are:

[0008] a) the need for the operator to use the electrical circuit and documentation for each type of SE REA in order to install the required set of replaceable connectors (jumpers) on the universal adapter board;

[0009] b) manual installation of switching connectors (jumpers), which requires high operator qualifications;

[0010] c) large time costs when setting up the adapter for a given type of SE REA;

[0011] d) high probability of errors in control of the electronic equipment due to incorrect installation of connectors (jumpers).

[0012] The purpose of the declared technical solution is to eliminate the shortcomings of the prototype design, namely: increasing the ease of operation of the automated control system, improving the quality and productivity of repairs of the electronic equipment, and reducing the requirements for the qualifications of the automated control system operator.

[0013] The stated goal is achieved due to the fact that the installation of jumpers on the adapter field is simplified by introducing replaceable templates (masks) into the ACS or by introducing a software-controlled jumper movement manipulator.

[0014] The declared version of the automated control system is implemented (similar to the prototype) on the basis of a frame formed by four vertical supporting pillars.

[0015] The racks are rigidly fixed to the lower support base and the upper cover. Adjustable height guides are mounted to the side racks. Removable shelves are installed on the guides to accommodate functional equipment units, including the AKMS computer, according to the functional purpose and operating principle of the AKMS. The input and output electronic circuits of the equipment units are routed to the front panels and combined in an adapter—an electronic circuit hub. The output connector of a universal adapter—an adapter designed to interface the AKMS with printed circuit boards of various types of SE REA—is connected to the hub.

[0016] The claimed ASCS differs from the prototype in its design variations of the universal adapter and its methods of use. The features of the claimed solution are explained in Figs. 1–4.

[0017] The universal adapter (item 1) (see Fig. 1) is based on a double-sided board. On one side, parallel tracks are located, connected to the contacts of the connector for connecting the monitored SE REA (item 2), while on the other side, parallel tracks are located, connected to the contacts of the connector for connecting to the APCS concentrator. The tracks on opposite sides of the board are oriented mutually perpendicular. In the areas where pairs of tracks intersect, through holes are located, intended for the installation of active and passive switching jumpers (item 3). Jumpers (item 3) ensure the necessary connection of the contacts of the APCS concentrator connectors and the connected SE REA (item 2).

[0018] Guide pins (item 4) are mounted at the corners of the adapter's printed circuit board for installing replaceable templates (item 5). Each replaceable template (item 5) contains only holes. When installed, jumpers in these holes ensure the required connection of the connector contacts of a specific type of SE REA (item 2) with the corresponding contacts of the AKCS hub. The remaining holes in the adapter board remain covered by the template, eliminating the accidental incorrect installation of unnecessary jumpers and erroneous connection of the OK connector contacts with the AKCS hub contacts. The replaceable template (item 5) is made of thin, wear-resistant, high-strength, insulating material. The selection of the replaceable template (item 5) and the installation of jumpers (item 3) on it are based on the use of a set of interactive electronic repair documentation (IERD) for the given type of SE REA.

[0019] The IERD SE REA kits for the entire range of repairable SE REA (pos. 2) included in the serviced product are pre-loaded into the memory of the ASCS computer.

[0020] Figure 2 illustrates a design variant of the automated control system (ACS). A distinctive feature of this variant is the use of a cassette containing a set of replaceable templates for the entire range of repairable electronic components (item 6) included in a given product type. Each replaceable template (item 5) is marked with the type of electronic component (item 2), which is used to search for the required template and extract it from the cassette containing a set of replaceable templates for the entire range of repairable electronic components (item 6). The movement of the replaceable template (item 5) from the cassette containing a set of replaceable templates for the entire range of repairable electronic components (item 6) to the adapter board and back to the cassette is performed automatically by commands from the ACS computer using an electromechanical template movement manipulator (item 7).

[0021] The operation of the template movement manipulator (item 7) is controlled by the template movement manipulator video control device (item 8), connected to the automated control system (ACS) computer. The movement of the replaceable templates (item 5) using the template movement manipulator (item 7) is controlled by the video control device of the template movement manipulator (item 8) and is performed by the ACS computer based on the IERD set of the given type of SE REA. To ensure the correct reading of the template markings in the cassette with a set of replaceable templates for the entire range of repairable SE REA (item 6) and to control the movements of the template, illumination is required, which is provided by an illuminator (item 9), installed on the body of cassette 6 or next to it.

[0022] The next version of the declared design of the automated control system (see Fig. 3) is distinguished by the implementation of automatic movement of jumpers (pos. 3). For this purpose, in addition to the cassette with a set of replaceable templates for the entire range of repairable SE REA (pos. 6), a cassette with tubes is installed, which contain passive and active jumpers (pos. 10), designed for installation in specified pairs of metallized holes in the universal adapter board (pos. 1). The movement and installation of jumpers (pos. 3) in the board is carried out by an electromechanical jumper movement manipulator (pos. 11) in response to commands from the automated control system computer based on the corresponding set of IERD SE REA. To select the specified types of jumpers (pos. 3), a video monitoring device of the jumper movement manipulator (pos. 12) is used. On the body of the cassette with the tubes in which the passive and active jumpers (pos. 10) are located, or near it, an illuminator (pos. 9) is placed to illuminate the tube with jumpers and the adapter field.

[0023] When replacing the template due to the transition to repair of the next type of SE REA, the jumper movement manipulator (pos. 11) removes all jumpers (pos. 3) from the replaceable template (pos. 5).

[0024] The template movement manipulator (pos. 7) removes the previously used replacement template (pos. 5) and places it into the cassette with a set of replacement templates for the entire range of repairable REA SE (pos. 6). After this, the template movement manipulator (pos. 7) extracts the required new replacement template (pos. 5) from the cassette with a set of replacement templates for the entire range of repairable REA SE (pos. 6) and installs it on the guide pins (pos. 4) of the universal adapter field (pos. 1). After installing the replacement template (pos. 5), the jumper movement manipulator (pos. 11) sequentially extracts the required jumpers (pos. 3) from the jumper cassette holders and installs them into the holes in the specified positions on the installed new replacement template (pos. 5). All actions related to changing the replaceable templates (pos. 5) and jumpers (pos. 3) are performed automatically under the control of the automated control system computer based on the electronic data acquisition system of the electronic equipment.

[0025] Another variant of the declared APCS design is the design shown in Fig. 4. A distinctive feature of this variant is the automatic installation of jumpers (pos. 3) into the universal adapter board (pos. 1) without the use of guide pins (pos. 4) on the adapter, replaceable templates (pos. 5) and a cassette for placing replaceable templates, i.e., the absence of the use of replaceable templates for adjusting the universal adapter to any given type of SE REA. The installation positions of jumpers (pos. 3) into the connecting holes on the universal adapter board (pos. 1) are defined in the documentation of the IERD kits for the corresponding types of SE REA. The movement and installation of jumpers (pos. 3) is carried out by an electromechanical jumper movement manipulator (pos. 11) upon a command from the APCS computer based on the IERD SE REA of each type of SE REA. To select the specified types of jumpers (pos. 3), a video control device of the jumper movement manipulator (pos. 12) and an illuminator (pos. 9) are used.

[0026] To more securely connect the track contacts to the jumper pins, the universal adapter board design can use specialized metal bushings (pistons) pressed into the board instead of plated holes. This solution will extend the life of the universal adapter board.

[0027] The use of the declared variants of the AKCS designs as part of mobile automated repair and diagnostic complexes (for example, in the 50Ш6.1.1 product) will improve the quality of repair of SE REA samples, increase repair productivity by reducing the time lost on reconfiguring the AKCS for other types of SE REA and reduce the requirements for the qualifications of the RDC repair personnel.

[0028] The stated solutions are practically implemented using existing technologies for creating modern automated APCS. Examples of these include the automated APCS designs implemented in the research and development projects completed at JSC GPTP Granit: R&D "Control," R&D "Control-IKD," R&D "SKDA," R&D "Technology KD," and R&D "Resurs-PVO."

[0029] Thus, the declared design of the adaptive automated control system with a universal adapter device is practically feasible and ensures the achievement of the declared technical result.
