Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to the subject area of designs of electronic equipment, in particular to the design of automated systems for monitoring and diagnosing the components of electronic equipment of complex technical products, including weapons, military and special equipment.
[0002] The closest technical solution to the claimed device is the invention according to patent RU 2548368 C1, which is taken as a prototype.
[0003] The design of the automated control and diagnostic system (ACDS) under patent RU 2548368 C1 is based on a frame consisting of four vertical support posts rigidly attached to the base and top cover. Profile guides are attached to the side posts of the frame, into which pull-out shelves are installed with the ability to be rigidly locked. The functional equipment units of the ACDS are installed on the shelves, with the units rigidly fixed to the shelves. The guides and shelves are arranged at variable heights, depending on the height of the units installed on the shelves. Flat side panels are attached to the outside of the side posts. The complete ACDS cabinet is attached to the wall of the process room using side posts located on one side of the frame. The ACDS rack is secured to the floor and wall of the process room using shock absorbers. The functional equipment units of the ACDS have built-in cooling systems.The monitored object, connected to the channels of the test equipment and the equipment for measuring the monitored object's response parameters, as well as the keyboard of the monitored computer, are housed on dedicated pull-out shelves of the automated control system rack. The automated control system design includes front and rear frame doors, which, when in use, are open and extend along the wall of the process room.
[0004] The advantages of the well-known technical solution under patent RU 2 548 368 C1 are the rational placement of the ACS equipment in a compact instrument rack.
[0005] The disadvantages of the known technical solution according to patent RU 2 548 368 C1, adopted as a prototype, are:
[0006] a) the use in all cases of only pull-out shelves on profile guides is excessive for the installation of full-size equipment units that occupy the entire transverse space between the side racks;
[0007] b) a solid front and rear door without a viewing window does not allow visual inspection of the equipment units installed in the rack when the doors are closed;
[0008] c) the use of specialized transition devices (replaceable adapters) for each type of controlled objects in the prototype system leads to the need to use a large number of such devices, which complicates the operator’s work and increases the cost of implementing the automated control system;
[0009] d) the lack of a universal adapter reduces the convenience of connections when working with various control objects;
[0010] d) the design of the rear wall of the prototype device does not allow for the placement of long cables for connecting remote control objects;
[0011] e) the absence of latches for placing measuring probes in the prototype reduces the convenience and efficiency of the system;
[0012] g) a shelf for a keyboard without space for a mouse-type manipulator limits the working capabilities of the ACS operator;
[0013] i) the space in the automated diagnostic system that is not occupied by functional equipment blocks is not used in the prototype, which is irrational in the conditions of limited space in mobile repair and diagnostic complexes;
[0014] k) the absence of lighting in the prototype at the front and rear of the rack forces the use of external light sources during maintenance of the automated control system.
[0015] The purpose of the declared solution is to improve the ease of operation of the automated control system, expand the functional capabilities of the automated control system and reduce the cost of implementing a workstation based on the declared design of the automated control system.
[0016] The stated goal is achieved due to the fact that new design and functional elements have been introduced into the ASKD.
[0017] The features of the claimed solution are explained in Fig.1 - Fig.9.
[0018] 1. Fig. 1 shows a drawing explaining the basic design of the automated control system. The basic design is a rigid frame 1 formed by four side posts 2, rigidly fixed in the lower base 3 and in the upper cover 4. Guide corners 5 are attached to the side posts 2, which can be installed at different distances relative to the adjacent vertically similar guide corners 5 - based on the height of the installed blocks of the functional equipment of the automated control system (Fig. 6 pos. 14).
[0019] Angle guides 5 replace the more complex and labor-intensive profile guides of the prototype device. When several functional units are placed side by side, pull-out shelves are mounted on the angle guides 5, allowing for locking of their position and that of the units mounted on them. If the unit is full-size (spanning the entire width of the rack), it is mounted directly on the angle guides, eliminating the need for additional pull-out shelves (as opposed to the mandatory installation on pull-out shelves, as envisaged in the prototype).
[0020] When working with an automated access control system (ASCS), where direct access to the functional units of the equipment is not required, it is advisable to be able to monitor the technical condition of the equipment without opening the doors. For this purpose, in the claimed design, the front and rear doors of the ASCS have transparent windows running the entire height of the post. Fig. 2 shows a front door 7 with a full-height viewing window 8 made of a shock-resistant transparent material (e.g., glass, organic glass, or monolithic polycarbonate). The front and rear doors 7 are fastened to side posts 2 (Fig. 1) using hinges. When closed, the doors are secured with latches 20 (Fig. 6), installed on the second side posts. This design of the door allows visual monitoring of the instrument readings inside the ASCS with the doors 7 closed.
[0021] The internal surfaces of the front and rear doors are located at some distance from the installed equipment to create space for free air circulation during operation of the built-in cooling means of the ACS equipment.
[0022] 2. In the prototype device for connecting the tested objects of replaceable elements (RE) of radio-electronic equipment (REA) to the channels of the automated APCS equipment, a large number of transition devices - specialized plug-in adapters are used. Each of these adapters ensures the connection of the connector contacts of only a specific type of the tested object to the corresponding inputs and outputs of the automated APCS. In the claimed device, sets of specialized plug-in adapters are replaced by one universal adapter 9. An example of connecting the tested object 10 to the automated APCS using the universal adapter 9 is shown in Fig. 3. The design principle and electrical circuit diagram of the universal adapter provide the ability to connect any contact of the tested object 10 to any input or output of the automated APCS (to the contacts of the automated APCS transition device - electrical circuit concentrator 13).
[0023] The switching field of the universal adapter 9 can be implemented, for example, on the basis of a double-sided printed circuit board. On one side of the board, electrical conductors are located, connected to the terminals of the connector of the tested object 10 (directly or via a connecting cable - see Fig. 3). On the other side of the printed circuit board, a second group of electrical conductors is located (e.g., perpendicularly), connected to the terminals of the connector intended for connection to the AKCS electrical circuit concentrator 13 (directly or via connecting cables). In the vicinity of each intersection of the position of the electrical conductors (located on opposite sides of the board), pairs of contact sockets or pins 11 are arranged in such a way that when a switching connector 12 is installed in them, an electrical connection is ensured between the corresponding terminal of the connector of the tested object 10 and the required contact of the electrical circuit concentrator 13.Thus, with the help of the adjustable switching field of the universal adapter 9, the necessary connection of the contacts of the control object 10 to the channels of the automated control system is ensured - instead of using specialized replaceable adapters.
[0024] The design of the switching field of the universal adapter 9 may be different, however, in all design variants, the specified principle of switching the contacts of the control object 10 with the required contacts of the concentrator of electrical circuits of the ASCDS 13 must be ensured.
[0025] Depending on the required control functions of the electronic equipment, the switching connectors 12 can provide a direct connection of the switched electrical circuits (jumpers) or contain functional electronic components (resistors, diodes, etc.).
[0026] When switching from one type of SE REA to another, the change in the switching of electrical circuits on the switching field of universal adapter 9 may be insignificant. Therefore, the average reconfiguration time of universal adapter 9 is comparable to the average time to find and connect a replaceable specialized adapter in the prototype.
[0027] Installation of switching connectors on the switching field of the universal adapter for each type of SE REA (control object 10) is carried out on the basis of the electrical circuit of the control object 10 or according to the instructions of the interactive electronic repair documentation of SE REA used for information support during automated repair of SE REA (for example, according to the invention patent RU 2 815 853 C1).
[0028] 3. To connect the universal adapter 9 to the automated control system, two design options for the electrical circuit concentrator 13 are provided (see Fig. 3).
[0029] In the basic version, the electrical circuit concentrator 13 is installed directly on the rack 2 of the ACS frame 1 (see Fig. 4a) in front of the functional equipment blocks 14 (see Fig. 2) and is connected to the universal adapter 9, located on the pull-out shelf 6 allocated for these purposes, by means of a multi-core cable, thereby ensuring a reliable electrical connection and ease of placement of the adapter.
[0030] In an alternative embodiment (see Fig. 4b), electrical circuit concentrator 13 is placed on the operator's workstation of the automated control system 15. In this case, universal adapter 9 is inserted into the mating pin connectors of concentrator 13 without the use of a multi-core cable. This solution simplifies the connection procedure, increases connection reliability, and improves the ergonomics of the operator's workstation.
[0031] 4. The ACS provides for the option of placing extended cables 16 on the rear wall of the ACS 1 frame, intended for connecting the ACS 1 to remote control objects (see Fig. 5).
[0032] In this case, as shown in Fig. 5, a folding metal shutter (roller shutter 17) with three fixed positions—open, closed, and intermediate—is used instead of the rear door 7. This design allows for convenient and quick transition of the ACS from its operating position to its transport position, and also protects the cables from adverse external influences.
[0033] 5. As part of the automated control system (ACS), measuring probes 19 are used to monitor parameters at intermediate points of the controlled object 10 (e.g., according to invention patent RU 2 715 257 C1). When not in use, the probes are secured in latches 18, which are mounted on the frame posts 2, to prevent damage, as shown in Fig. 6. Latches 18 allow the measuring probes to be positioned at any height, ensuring ease of use and adaptability to workspace conditions.
[0034] The measuring probes 19 are installed in the specified latches 18, ensuring their secure fixation both during operation and during transport. This mounting frees up workspace on the workbench during inspection procedures, as the measuring probes 19, when not in use, are stored in the latches and do not create clutter on the workbench.
[0035] 6. The automated control system 1 includes two pull-out shelves 6 mounted on corner guides 5. One pull-out shelf accommodates the monitored object 10, connected to the concentrator 13 (see Fig. 7). The second pull-out shelf 6 accommodates the remote keyboard 21 of the automated control system's control computer and the mouse 22.
[0036] 7. In the case where the functional equipment blocks 14 of the automated control system do not occupy all the space in the rack, provision is made for installation of technological boxes 23 in the free spaces (see Fig. 8).
[0037] These technological boxes are intended for storing and placing tools, accessories, and materials used when working with the automated control system, including measuring probes.
[0038] 8. When servicing the automated control system (ACS) equipment, illumination of the front and rear sides of the ACS rack is required. The use of external process lights complicates maintenance work. The proposed ACS design (see Fig. 9) provides for the installation of process lights 24 on the top of the front and rear sides of the ACS rack, which are switched on as needed. Lights 24 are positioned (see Fig. 9) so as not to interfere with the opening and closing of doors 7.
[0039] 9. The placement of the functional equipment units of the ACS 14 on the shelves 6 and the corner guides 5 within the frame 1 is determined by the operating principle and ease of use of the ACS. For example, an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) can be located below (above base 3). The ACS can also include an additional UPS, located under the ACS operator's work desk. This allows for the ability to separate the power supply for the control computer and monitor from the functional equipment units of the ACS 14.
[0040] The rack can then accommodate, for example, software-controlled secondary power supply sources for the control object 10, sources of test effects on the control object 10, equipment for measuring the parameters of response signals from the outputs of the control object 10, a control computer and other necessary equipment - in accordance with the operating principle and purpose of a specific APCS kit.
[0041] All equipment in the ACS design is connected to each other into a single system using standard interface cables, signal cables and power supply cables located on the rear side of frame 1 with appropriate cable fastenings to frame 1.
[0042] The practical implementation of the declared technical solution is based on the use of structural materials and equipment known from the prior art and similar to those used in the implementation of the prototype solution.
[0043] The declared system provides expanded functionality for monitoring and diagnostics of electronic electronic equipment, increased ease of use for its intended purpose, and reduced implementation costs - i.e., it ensures the achievement of the declared positive effect.
