Description

[0001] The invention relates to ship cargo-lifting devices.

[0002] To assess the novelty of the claimed solution, we will consider a number of known technical means of a similar purpose, characterized by a set of features similar to the claimed device.

[0003] The ship clan is known by the Russian Federation patent No. 2241633.comprising a housing pivotally connected to a cargo boom consisting of a main section connected by a hydraulic cylinder to the housing and a rotating nock, a cargo suspension, a two-drum cargo winch with cargo and carrier ropes and independent hydraulic drive motors, pulleys leading the cargo and carrier ropes into the nock, the latter of which is designed with the possibility of passing under the rollers of a cargo trolley and being reeved on a receiving block, and a follow-up winch, characterized in that it is provided with a trunk pivotally connected by a hydraulic cylinder to the main section, at the end of which, on one axis, a rotating collar with said pulleys and said rotating nock are mounted, with which a cargo suspension is detachably connected by a cargo rope for lifting and lowering a load, and the carrier rope is designed with the possibility of being disconnected from the nock and fastened after reeving on a receiving block to a cargo trolley made with a winch and with the possibility of being attached to the cargo rope.

[0004] This technical solution, as the closest to the stated technical essence and achievable result, has been adopted as its prototype. This crane allows for the transfer of cargo while moored from one vessel to another or from a vessel to a berth.

[0005] The disadvantages of the known technical solution are the limited functionality for carrying out loading and unloading operations in a wide range of heights relative to the ship's deck.

[0006] The objective of the invention is to create a ship crane that allows for the lifting and movement of ship machinery on the deck of a vessel, the transfer of cargo from one vessel to another, as well as the receipt and transfer of cargo from a vessel to a berth, including without operations involving the re-slinging of the cargo being lifted.

[0007] The essence of the claimed technical solution is expressed in the following set of essential features, sufficient to solve the technical problem indicated by the applicant and to obtain the technical result provided by the invention.

[0008] According to the invention, a ship crane, including a housing pivotally connected to a cargo boom, is characterized in that the housing is fixedly secured to a slewing base and is provided with a root section of a cargo telescopic boom pivotally attached to it, wherein the crane is provided with a hydraulic cylinder of the root section of the boom, the cylinder of which is pivotally attached to the slewing base of the crane, and a rod - to the free end of the root section of the boom, to which one part of the rotating section of the boom is pivotally attached, to the other part of which the rod of the hydraulic cylinder of the rotating section of the boom is pivotally attached, the cylinder of which is pivotally attached to the housing, wherein the cargo telescopic boom is provided with hydraulic cylinders for extending its sections, a cargo winch, a suspension with a hook at its end and a support in its folded form.

[0009] The technical result of implementing the stated set of essential features is the expansion of the functional capabilities of a ship crane for carrying out loading and unloading operations in several operating modes: in the operating mode of lifting and transferring cargo from the deck of a vessel to a berth and back, in the operating mode of lifting and transferring cargo from the deck of a vessel to another vessel, in the operating mode of lifting and transferring crane cargo within the deck and settings of a vessel, while ensuring the convenience and safety of transferring cargo and eliminating the need to equip vessels with additional equipment.

[0010] The essence of the claimed technical solution is explained by the drawing, in which Fig. 1 shows a general view of the claimed crane in assembled form, Fig. 2 is a top view, Fig. 3 shows three possible operating positions of the crane's telescopic boom in the maximum extended position in various operating modes, and Fig. 4 is a graph of the change in the crane's lifting capacity depending on the lifting height and reach of the crane's boom.

[0011] The drawings indicate the following positions:

[0012] 1 - swivel base;

[0013] 2 - body;

[0014] 3 - cargo telescopic boom;

[0015] 4 - boom root section;

[0016] 5 - boom pivot section;

[0017] 6 - boom root section hydraulic cylinders;

[0018] 7 - boom pivot section hydraulic cylinders;

[0019] 8 - hydraulic cylinders for extending the boom telescopic sections;

[0020] 9 - cargo winch;

[0021] 10 - suspension with cargo hook;

[0022] 11 - support for cargo boom;

[0023] 12 - crane cabin.

[0024] The body 2 of the claimed ship crane is fixedly secured to the slewing base 1 and is provided with a root section 4 of the cargo telescopic boom 3 pivotally attached to it. The crane is provided with a hydraulic cylinder 6 of the root section 4 of the cargo boom 3, the cylinder of which is pivotally attached to the slewing base 1 of the crane, and the rod is to the free end of the root section 4 of the cargo boom 3. One side of the rotating section 5 of the boom is pivotally attached to the same root section 4 of the boom, to the other side of which the rod of the hydraulic cylinder 7 of the rotating section of the boom is pivotally attached, the cylinder of which is pivotally attached to the body 1. The cargo telescopic boom 3 is provided with hydraulic cylinders 8 for extending its sections, a cargo winch 9, a suspension with a hook at its end 10 and a support 11 in its folded form.

[0025] The crane operates as follows.

[0026] In the operating mode for lifting and transferring cargo from the vessel deck to the berth and back, the slewing base 1 is rotated in the desired direction, the boom is lowered below the deck level using hydraulic cylinders 6, its position is adjusted using hydraulic cylinders 7, and the telescopic sections are extended to the required distance using hydraulic cylinders 8, and cargo handling operations are carried out with the cargo winch 9 or a suspension with a cargo hook 10. In this mode, the cargo boom can tilt relative to the deck at an angle of up to 45 degrees, while the maximum reach is 13 meters, and the maximum lifting capacity is 18 tons.

[0027] In the on-deck cargo lifting and transfer mode, the slewing base 1 is rotated in the desired direction, the telescopic sections are extended to the required distance using hydraulic cylinders 8 and the load is secured. Then, using hydraulic cylinders 6, the boom 3 is raised to the required height, the base is rotated, and the load is unloaded. In this mode, the maximum boom reach is 20 meters, and the maximum lifting capacity is 18 tons. If cargo needs to be transferred to the ship's superstructure, the cargo boom can be raised to an angle of up to 75 degrees, giving a maximum reach of 5 meters and a maximum lifting capacity of 29 tons.

[0028] In the lifting and transfer mode for cargo from a vessel's deck to another vessel, the slewing base 1 is rotated, the telescopic sections are extended to the required distance from the deck of the adjacent vessel using hydraulic cylinders 8, the cargo is secured, and then the boom is rotated to a certain angle using hydraulic cylinders 6 to safely transfer the cargo. The slewing base 1 is then rotated, and the telescopic sections are retracted to the required distance using hydraulic cylinders 8, and the transferred cargo is unloaded. In this mode, the maximum boom reach is 15 meters, and the maximum lifting capacity is 25 tons.

[0029] A significant feature of the declared crane is that in the entire wide range of the boom tilt angle change from +75 to -45 degrees from the horizontal, the declared crane provides the ability to lift and carry loads without intermediate slinging operations, namely; with a maximum boom reach of 20 meters, lift a load of up to 18 tons without slinging, with a boom reach of 13 meters - up to 29 tons, and with a minimum boom reach of 2.2 meters - 41 tons.

[0030] The set of essential features we have declared ensures the achievement of the above-described technical result, which is unattainable using any known analogue and is not obvious to a specialist in this field of technology.

[0031] The technical solution we have declared is industrially applicable, since it can be used for cargo handling operations on ships without additional inventions using known technical and technological means.
