Modular fixture with dovetail locks for waterjet and abrasive waterjet machining

Abstract

The modular clamping fixture with dovetail locks for waterjet and abrasive waterjet machining is designed for safe and variable clamping of workpieces (5) and is suitable for the mechanical engineering, automotive and aerospace industries. It consists of several interlocking modules (1), which enable easy reconfiguration of the work surface and quick replacement of workpieces (5). The modular clamping fixture consists of at least two separate modules (1), each of which has three dovetail protrusions (2) with a pitch angle of 120° and three internal dovetail cutouts (3) with a pitch angle of 120° relative to a centered central hole (4), which is equipped with a thread or a threaded insert.
