Abstract
The two-layer building board consists of a chemically bonded face layer and a core layer, between which there is at least one layer of reinforcing glass fiber mesh or grid. The face layer constitutes 15 to 40% of the total thickness of the board and the core layer constitutes 60 to 85% of the total thickness of the board. The face layer mixture contains 30-40% by weight of active magnesium oxide, 25-35% by weight of magnesium sulfate solution with a density of 25-30 °Bé, 10-20% by weight of finely ground zeolite, 10-20% by weight of talc, 2-5% by weight of activated bentonite, 0.5-2.0% by weight of polycarboxylate superplasticizer and 0.5-2.0% by weight of silicone hydrophobizing emulsion for internal hydrophobization. The core layer mixture contains 30 – 40 wt. % active magnesium oxide, 25 – 35 wt. % magnesium sulfate solution with a density of 25 – 30 °Bé, 15 – 25 wt. % activated zeolite, 8 – 15 wt. % expanded filler, 1.5 – 4.0 wt. % activated bentonite and 0.2 – 1.0 wt. %polycarboxylate superplasticizer.
