Abstract

A method of 3D additive manufacturing using a powder bed, in particular a ceramic and / or glass bed, is described, in which a layer of a mixture of a powdered base material (1) with a binder (2) is repeatedly applied to the entire upper surface of the powder bed. The procedure is repeated in cycles of individual layers until the product body (5) is formed, during which a liquid activator (3) is applied by a spray nozzle (4) at the points where the base material (1) is joined, which activates the function of the binder (2). The binder (2) is, for example, a silicone resin, such as alkylphenylsiloxane and / or alkylvinylsiloxane, and / or derivatives thereof. The activator (3) is preferably an alcohol-based solvent, for example ethyl alcohol and / or isopropyl alcohol, and / or alcohol, and / or denatured alcohol, or aqueous solutions thereof.
