Wet compressor and expander equipment

Abstract

The device with a wet compressor and expander is intended for applications using low-temperature heat sources, for combined heat and work systems. The device includes a wet screw compressor (K) connected to an air circuit (A), while water (W) is supplied to the compression chamber of the screw compressor (K) from a closed water circuit (V). A heat exchanger (R) is connected to the outlet of the screw compressor (K), which is connected to a water tank (Z). The device further includes a mixing chamber (M) connected to the water tank (Z) and to the air circuit (A), an expander (E) connected to the mixing chamber (M) and a demister (D) connected to the outlet of the expander (E), while the water circuit (V) is connected to the water tank (Z), the screw compressor (K) and the mixing chamber (M).
