Hydrodynamic cavitation generator

Abstract

The technical solution presents a structural arrangement of a hydrodynamic cavitation generator for generating controlled cavitation. The device consists of a static hermetic housing with an inlet and an outlet, in which a cylindrical drum rotor is rotatably mounted on a central shaft. This one rotor is provided with a grid of blind cylindrical holes on its circumference. A working gap in the range of 0.5 mm to 2 mm is defined between the rotor and the inner wall of the housing. By rotating one drum in a water environment, adiabatic collapse of vacuum microbubbles occurs, thereby achieving continuous hydro-acoustic heating and homogenization of the medium.
