Abstract

The oligoester plasticizer terminated with a non-polar group is used to limit the hydrolysis, acidolysis or alcoholysis of ester bonds in the polyester backbone in polyester blends based on polyesters from renewable sources of raw materials. The polyesters from renewable sources of raw materials are in particular polylactides and / or polyhydroxyalkanoates, and / or mixtures thereof. A method for preparing polyester blends based on polyesters from renewable sources of raw materials and an oligoester plasticizer terminated with a non-polar group, which are combined by melt mixing, is further described.
