Grave site covering made of self-supporting reinforced polystyrene

Abstract

The technical solution relates to a burial site cover (l) made of a self-supporting body of hardened polystyrene (1e) with integrated metal reinforcement (2) ensuring mechanical strength and walkability. The surface of the cover is provided with a multi-layer treatment consisting of adhesive (1d), reinforcing mesh (1c), decorative layer (1b) and protective varnish (1a). The cover (l) may include a vertical memorial part (3) with a memorial plaque (4), preferably made of glass. The solution is characterized by low weight, easy handling, lower production costs and easy assembly on an existing concrete base (5), namely attachment with construction adhesive (6).
