Abstract
The technical solution concerns a mold intended for processing elastomer mixtures during the vulcanization process, where the mold is equipped with an integrated sensor system enabling monitoring of heat transfer between the mold and the processed elastomer mixture. The sensor system consists of several temperature sensors located at several levels of the mold structure or at different distances from the surface of the processed material. The temperature sensors are connected to a data acquisition unit, which ensures continuous recording of measured data during the technological process. The data acquisition unit is connected via a communication module to a digital platform enabling real-time data transfer, archiving and processing. The proposed solution enables monitoring of temperature profiles during the processing of elastomer mixtures and provides data usable in optimizing the technological parameters of the vulcanization process.
