Abstract
Description
Noise-reducing spray head for gas-based fire extinguishing systems and its storage and assembly method.
[0001] The present invention relates to a spray head installed on ceilings, walls, etc., for releasing fire extinguishing agent gases such as nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and fluorine compounds into a fire-fighting area in a gas-based fire extinguishing system, and more particularly to a spray head for a gas-based fire extinguishing system having a noise-reducing function that can reduce the noise generated when the fire extinguishing agent gas is released.
[0002] In gas-based fire extinguishing systems that use extinguishing agent gases such as nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and fluorine compounds, when the gas-based fire extinguishing system is activated during firefighting, the extinguishing agent gas is released so that the concentration of the extinguishing agent gas in the area to be extinguished reaches the extinguishing concentration within approximately one minute (10 seconds in the case of fluorine compound extinguishing agent gas).
[0003] At this time, the fire extinguishing agent gas is released from spray heads installed on the ceiling, walls, etc., to release the fire extinguishing agent gas into the area to be extinguished. However, spray heads for gas-type fire extinguishing systems include those shown in Figure 24(a), which have an orifice 20 at the outlet of the spray head 10A connected to the piping 40 to which the fire extinguishing agent gas is supplied, so that the fire extinguishing agent gas is released directly into the area to be extinguished from the orifice 20, or those shown in Figure 24(b), which have an orifice at the outlet of the spray head 10B connected to the piping 40 to which the fire extinguishing agent gas is supplied. Conventionally, various types of fire extinguishing devices have been commonly used, such as one equipped with an orifice 20 and a cone-shaped deflector (deflection member) 50, which deflects the fire extinguishing agent gas released from the orifice 20 and releases it into the area to be extinguished, and another, as shown in Figure 24(c), which is equipped with an orifice (not shown) and a cone-shaped horn (diffusion member) 60 at the outlet of the spray head 10C, which diffuses the fire extinguishing agent gas released from the orifice and releases it into the area to be extinguished.
[0004] Thus, in order to ensure that the same amount of fire extinguishing agent gas is released from each of the injection heads 10A, 10B, and 10C, which are usually installed in multiple numbers in the fire extinguishing target section, the flow rate of the fire extinguishing agent gas released from the injection heads is restricted by the orifice 20. However, due to this, it has been known that a high level of noise (specifically, noise of 120 dB or more) is generated when the fire extinguishing agent gas is released from the injection head.
[0005] By the way, when the gas-based fire extinguishing equipment operates, it is assumed that there are no people in the fire extinguishing target section. Therefore, regarding the noise (vibration) generated when the fire extinguishing agent gas is released from the injection head, it has not been regarded as a problem at all in the past, and no countermeasures have been taken.
[0006] However, recently, based on findings such as the need to deal with a situation where a person has been left behind in the fire extinguishing target section during the operation of the gas-based fire extinguishing equipment, the possibility that the noise generated when the fire extinguishing agent gas is released from the injection head may have an adverse impact on people in the vicinity, and further that the noise (vibration) may cause malfunctions in precision equipment such as information and communication equipment, technologies for reducing the noise generated when the fire extinguishing agent gas is released have been proposed (see, for example, Patent Documents 1 to 5).
[0007] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2011-115255, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2011-125673, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2011-255152, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2013-169333, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2013-192764
[0008] Thus, among the above technologies for addressing problems caused by noise (including "vibration," hereinafter simply referred to as "noise") generated when fire extinguishing agent gas is released from the spray head, the technology described in Patent Document 1 links the timing of starting the fire extinguishing equipment with the timing of preventative measures to prevent malfunction of the ICT device associated with the starting of the fire extinguishing equipment, and was not aimed at reducing noise. On the other hand, the technologies described in Patent Documents 2 to 5 also aim at reducing noise, but in order to increase the noise reduction rate, the spray head would have to be larger than a typical spray head, which presented problems such as constraints on storage and installation locations and increased costs.
[0009] In particular, gas-based fire extinguishing systems need to release an amount of extinguishing agent gas corresponding to the volume of the compartment into which the gas is released, within a specified time. Therefore, the flow rate of the extinguishing agent gas released from each spray head must be varied depending on the volume of the compartment and the number of spray heads that release the extinguishing agent gas. Normally, this adjustment of the flow rate of the extinguishing agent gas is done by selecting the shape of the orifice provided in the spray head (the size and number of orifices formed in the orifice plate through which the extinguishing agent gas flows). As a result, even if we consider only one shape and one size of spray head, there are dozens of variations depending on the shape of the orifice, and when we further aggregate by size (20A, 25A, 32A, 40A), there are hundreds of variations. In order to ship spray heads quickly, hundreds of types of spray heads with different orifice shapes for a single shape must be stored in inventory, which leads to storage space constraints and increased costs.
[0010] In view of the problems with conventional spray heads for gas-based fire extinguishing systems, particularly spray heads with noise-reducing functions for gas-based fire extinguishing systems, the present invention aims to provide a spray head with noise-reducing functions for gas-based fire extinguishing systems and a method for storing and assembling the same, which can be easily stored as inventory, thereby resolving the issues of storage space constraints and cost increases.
[0011] To achieve the above objective, the present invention provides a noise-reducing spray head for a gas-based fire extinguishing system, which is a spray head equipped with a noise-reducing means installed in a gas-based fire extinguishing system that uses a fire extinguishing agent gas, and is connected to a pipe through which the fire extinguishing agent gas is supplied in order to release the fire extinguishing agent gas into a fire-extinguishing area. The spray head comprises a spray head body having a connection portion to the pipe, an orifice plate disposed on the spray head body having an orifice through which the fire extinguishing agent gas flows, and a block-shaped noise-reducing member made of a porous material through which the fire extinguishing agent gas can flow, disposed on the outlet side of the orifice plate. The orifice plate is detachably attached to the spray head body through an opening on the side of the spray head body that connects to the pipe.
[0012] In this case, the orifice plate can be fixed by a C-shaped retaining ring attached to the connection side of the spray head body with the piping, or it can be screwed onto the spray head body, and an operating part for rotating the orifice plate can be formed on the orifice plate through the opening on the connection side of the spray head body with the piping.
[0013] Furthermore, the present invention relates to a method for storing and assembling a spray head having a sound-dampening function for a gas-based fire extinguishing system, which is a method for storing and assembling a spray head equipped with a sound-dampening means that is installed in connection with a pipe through which a fire extinguishing agent gas is supplied in order to discharge the fire extinguishing agent gas into a fire-extinguishing area in a gas-based fire extinguishing system that uses the above-mentioned fire extinguishing agent gas, wherein the spray head comprises a spray head body having a connection part with the pipe, an orifice plate having an orifice through which the fire extinguishing agent gas is disposed on the spray head body, and a block-shaped sound-dampening member made of a porous material through which the fire extinguishing agent gas is circulating, disposed on the outlet side of the orifice plate, and the spray head body is stored with the sound-dampening member assembled to it, and at the time of shipment, the orifice plate is attached to the spray head body through the opening on the side of the spray head body that connects to the pipe.
[0014] According to the present invention, a spray head with a sound-dampening function for gas-based fire extinguishing systems and its storage and assembly method are made detachable from the spray head body by making the orifice plate attachable to the spray head body through an opening on the side of the spray head body that connects to the piping. This allows the spray head body to be stored in stock with the sound-dampening member assembled, and at the time of shipment, an orifice plate corresponding to the flow rate of the fire extinguishing agent gas discharged from the spray head is attached to the spray head body through an opening on the side of the spray head body that connects to the piping. This makes it easier to store the spray head with a sound-dampening function for gas-based fire extinguishing systems, which are larger than general spray heads, in stock, thereby eliminating storage space constraints and cost increases, and enabling the rapid shipment of spray heads.

This is an explanatory diagram showing a conventional spray head for gas-based fire extinguishing equipment.
[0016] Hereinafter, embodiments of the spray head having a sound-dampening function for gas-based fire extinguishing systems according to the present invention will be described based on the drawings.
[0017] Figures 1 to 6 show a first embodiment of the spray head with noise reduction function for gas-based fire extinguishing equipment according to the present invention.
[0018] This noise-reducing spray head 1 for gas-based fire extinguishing equipment is installed in a gas-based fire extinguishing equipment that uses fire extinguishing agent gas, connected to a pipe (not shown) through which the fire extinguishing agent gas is supplied in order to release the fire extinguishing agent gas into the area to be extinguished. The spray head 1 comprises a spray head body 2 with a connection portion 21 to the pipe, orifice plates 31 and 32 arranged in the spray head body 2 and having orifices 31a and 32a through which the fire extinguishing agent gas flows, and a block-shaped noise-reducing member 4 made of a porous material through which the fire extinguishing agent gas can flow, arranged on the outlet side of the orifice plates 31 and 32.
[0019] In this embodiment, the orifice plates 31 and 32 are composed of an orifice plate 31 that is detachably attached to the spray head body 2 through an opening on the side of the connection portion 21 with the piping of the spray head body 2, and an orifice plate 32 that is disposed on the outlet side of the spray head body 2 for the fire extinguishing agent gas. A layered space 24 is formed between the orifice plate 31 and the orifice plate 32, and a sound-absorbing member 4 is disposed on the outlet side of the orifice plate 32 for the fire extinguishing agent gas.
[0020] Of these, the orifice plate 31 has the function of regulating the flow rate of the fire extinguishing agent gas released from the spray head 1. For example, multiple types of orifice plates 31 with different shapes of orifices 31a (size and number of orifices 31a) are prepared in advance, and at the time of shipment, an orifice plate 31 corresponding to the flow rate of the fire extinguishing agent gas released from the spray head is selected from the spray head body 2 with the sound-absorbing member 4 assembled, which has been stored separately as inventory, according to conditions such as the installation location of the spray head 1, and the selected orifice plate 31 is attached to the spray head body 2 through the opening 22 on the side of the connection part 21 with the piping of the spray head body 2. Here, the orifice plate 31 is positioned to be dropped into a stepped portion 23 formed in the internal space on the connection part 21 side of the spray head body 2, and is fixed by a C-shaped retaining ring 7 attached to the connection part 21 side of the spray head body 2 with the piping. Furthermore, the means for fixing the orifice plate 31 is not limited to the C-shaped retaining ring 7, and any fixing method such as a spring or magnet can be used in addition to the screw used in the embodiment described later. Also, the orifice plate 31 is positioned to be dropped into a stepped portion 23 formed in the internal space on the connection portion 21 side of the spray head body 2, and when the fire extinguishing agent gas is released, it is fixed by the pressure of the fire extinguishing agent gas, so the fixing means can be omitted. This makes it easier to store the spray head 1, which has a sound-dampening function for gas-based fire extinguishing equipment and is larger than a typical spray head, in stock, and enables rapid shipment of the spray head 1 while resolving the problems of storage space constraints and cost increases.
[0021] On the other hand, the orifice plate 32, which has multiple orifices 32a formed on it (in this embodiment, six orifices 32a at equal angular intervals), is detachably mounted on a stepped portion 25 formed in the internal space of the spray head body 2, for example, via screws formed on the stepped portion 25 and the circumferential surface of the orifice plate 32. This allows for the selection of multiple types of orifice plates 32 with different orifice shapes (size and number of orifices 32a) as needed, according to conditions such as the installation location of the spray head 1. It should also be noted that the detachable orifice plate 32 can be omitted, and similar orifices 32a can be directly formed on the spray head body 2.
[0022] In this case, it is preferable that the orifice plate 32 is in surface contact with the sound-absorbing member 4. This allows the fire extinguishing agent gas to flow uniformly from the center to the periphery of the sound-absorbing member 4, which in turn makes the noise generated at the fire extinguishing agent gas discharge site uniform, thereby further increasing the noise reduction rate.
[0023] The block-shaped sound-absorbing member 4, made of a porous material, can be constructed as a single unit, or, as shown in this embodiment, as a divided structure consisting of a central member 41, a circumferential member 42, and an end face member 43 that covers the end faces of the central member 41 and the circumferential member 42.
[0024] The porous material constituting the sound-absorbing member 4 can be a sintered body made of an inorganic material (metal, metal oxide, metal hydroxide, etc.) with high shape retention performance, or, more preferably, a porous metal (Ni, N-Cr) body (Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd.'s "Cellmet" registered trademark) with continuous pores (porosity: maximum 98%) in which triangular prism-shaped skeletons are connected in three dimensions, can be suitably used. This can be achieved by electroplating a conductively treated foamed resin and then performing heat treatment.
[0025] The pore diameter of the voids in the porous material constituting the sound-absorbing member 4 can be made from a homogeneous material throughout, or from a material whose pore diameter is varied in the direction of gas flow, or more specifically, from a material whose pore diameter is reduced in the direction of gas flow. For example, in this embodiment, the pore diameter of the voids in the circumferential member 42 and the end face member 43 can be made smaller than the pore diameter of the voids in the central member 41. By reducing the pore diameter of the voids in the porous material constituting the sound-absorbing member 4 in the direction of gas flow, the fire extinguishing agent gas can be uniformly released from each part of the sound-absorbing member 4. This, combined with the ability to make the noise generated at the fire extinguishing agent gas release points uniform, further increases the noise reduction rate.
[0026] The sound-absorbing member 4 is fixed to the spray head body 2 by bolts 5 and a ring member 6. In both the case of an integrated structure and a segmented structure, one end face of the sound-absorbing member 4 is positioned in contact with the spray head body 2 (which may include an orifice plate 32 in this embodiment), and the circumferential surface and the other end face of the sound-absorbing member 4 are open to the atmosphere, except for the portion in contact with the ring member 6 that fixes the sound-absorbing member 4 to the spray head body 2 via bolts 5. This allows for a larger discharge area of the fire extinguishing agent gas that is open to the atmosphere from the sound-absorbing member 4, thereby increasing the noise reduction rate. Furthermore, the injection reaction force of the fire extinguishing agent gas acting on the spray head 1 when the fire extinguishing agent gas is discharged is reduced because the amount of fire extinguishing agent gas released from the circumferential surface of the sound-absorbing member 4 is offset on a unit-by-unit basis from the spray head 1.
[0027] In this case, the bolt 5 is screwed into the spray head body 2 by passing through the inside of the sound-absorbing member 4, in this embodiment, the circumferential member 42 and the end face member 43, thereby fixing and integrating the sound-absorbing member 4 with the spray head body 2 so that it faces the orifice plate 32. This makes it possible to further increase the discharge area of the fire extinguishing agent gas released into the atmosphere by the sound-absorbing member 4, thereby increasing the noise reduction rate and preventing the generation of noise caused by the discharged fire extinguishing agent gas interfering with the bolt 5.
[0028] Furthermore, in this embodiment, the portion of the sound-absorbing member 4 through which the bolt 5 passes, specifically portions 42a and 43a of the circumferential member 42 and end face member 43, are formed to bulge outward more than other portions. This allows for a larger discharge area of the fire extinguishing agent gas released into the atmosphere from the sound-absorbing member 4, thereby increasing the noise reduction rate. Additionally, when the porous material constituting the sound-absorbing member 4 is cut from a plate-shaped material, adopting the shape of this embodiment (a shape approximating a rectangle) has the advantage of eliminating material waste.
[0029] By the way, in this embodiment, the portion of the sound-absorbing member 4 through which the bolt 5 passes is formed to bulge outward on the outer circumference compared to other portions, but it can also be made to have a uniform circumferential shape (cylindrical shape).
[0030] Figure 7 shows a second embodiment of the spray head with noise reduction function for gas-based fire extinguishing equipment according to the present invention.
[0031] This spray head 1 with a sound-dampening function for gas-based fire extinguishing equipment omits the orifice plate 32 of the spray head 1 of the first embodiment and has a sound-dampening member 4 arranged on the outlet side of the orifice plate 31 for the fire extinguishing agent gas (in other embodiments shown below, the orifice plate 32 can also be omitted, similar to this embodiment). It is also possible to provide the layered space 24 that was formed on the outlet side of the orifice plate 31 for the fire extinguishing agent gas in the spray head 1 of the first embodiment. The other configurations and operations of the spray head 1 of this second embodiment are the same as those of the spray head 1 of the first embodiment.
[0032] Figure 8 shows a third embodiment of the noise-reducing spray head for gas-based fire extinguishing equipment according to the present invention.
[0033] This spray head 1 with a sound-dampening function for gas-based fire extinguishing equipment is configured such that the orifice plate 31 of the spray head 1 of the first embodiment is detachably fixed via a stepped portion 23 formed in the internal space on the connection portion 21 side of the spray head body 2 and a screw formed on the circumferential surface of the orifice plate 32. Here, the orifice plate 31 has an operating portion 31b for rotating the orifice plate 31, which is formed through an opening 22 on the connection portion 21 side of the spray head body 2 to the piping, and the orifice plate 31 is attached and detached using an operating tool 8 that engages with this operating portion 31b to rotate the orifice plate 31. In addition, a sound-dampening member 44 is provided on the outlet side of the fire extinguishing agent gas of the orifice plate 31. The other configurations and operations of the spray head 1 of this third embodiment are the same as those of the spray head 1 of the first embodiment.
[0034] Figure 9 shows a fourth embodiment of the noise-reducing spray head for gas-based fire extinguishing equipment according to the present invention.
[0035] This spray head 1 with a sound-dampening function for gas-based fire extinguishing equipment is configured such that the orifice plate 31 of the spray head 1 of the first embodiment is detachably fixed via a stepped portion 23 formed in the internal space on the connection portion 21 side of the spray head body 2 and a screw formed on the circumferential surface of the orifice plate 32, similar to the spray head 1 of the third embodiment. In addition, a sound-dampening member 45 is provided in the location that was the space 24 in the spray head 1 of the first embodiment, which is connected to the outlet side of the orifice plate 31 for the fire extinguishing agent gas. The other configurations and operations of the spray head 1 of this fourth embodiment are the same as those of the spray head 1 of the first and third embodiments.
[0036] Figure 10 shows a fifth embodiment of the spray head with noise reduction function for gas-based fire extinguishing equipment according to the present invention.
[0037] The noise-reducing spray head 1 for this gas-based fire extinguishing system replaces the orifice plate 32 of the spray head 1 of the first embodiment with an orifice cylinder 33 that extends from the spray head body 2. The orifice cylinder 33 is bottomed and has multiple orifices 33a formed on its circumferential surface (in this embodiment, 6 rows at equal angular intervals, with 3 orifices at equal intervals in the vertical direction of each row, for a total of 18 orifices). A block-shaped noise-reducing member 4 made of a porous material through which the fire extinguishing agent gas can flow is placed on the outlet side of the orifice cylinder 33, and the lower surface of the noise-reducing member 4 is supported by a lid member (deflector) 36 that is screwed onto the orifice cylinder 33. Here, the noise-reducing member 4 is made of a divided structure consisting of a central member 41 and a circumferential member 42. The orifice cylinder 33 can be made integrally with the spray head body 2, or it can be made of a separate member and integrated via screws or the like. The other configurations and operations of the injection head 1 in this fifth embodiment are the same as those of the injection head 1 in the first embodiment.
[0038] Figure 11 shows a sixth embodiment of the spray head with noise reduction function for gas-based fire extinguishing equipment according to the present invention.
[0039] The spray head 1 with a sound-dampening function for this gas-based fire extinguishing system is configured such that the orifice plate 31 of the spray head 1 of the fifth embodiment is detachably fixed via a stepped portion 23 formed in the internal space on the connection portion 21 side of the spray head body 2 and a screw formed on the circumferential surface of the orifice plate 32, similar to the third embodiment. Here, a sound-dampening member 44 is provided on the outlet side of the fire extinguishing agent gas of the orifice plate 31. The other configurations and operations of the spray head 1 of this sixth embodiment are the same as those of the spray head 1 of the first, third, and fifth embodiments.
[0040] Figure 12 shows a seventh embodiment of the spray head with noise reduction function for gas-based fire extinguishing equipment according to the present invention.
[0041] This spray head 1 with a sound-dampening function for gas-based fire extinguishing equipment is configured such that the orifice plate 31 of the spray head 1 of the fifth embodiment is detachably fixed via a stepped portion 23 formed in the internal space on the connection portion 21 side of the spray head body 2 and a screw formed on the circumferential surface of the orifice plate 32, similar to the spray head 1 of the third embodiment. Furthermore, a sound-dampening member 46 is provided in the location that was the internal space 24 of the bottomed cylindrical orifice tube 33 connected to the outlet side of the orifice plate 31 for the fire extinguishing agent gas. The other configurations and operations of the spray head 1 of this seventh embodiment are the same as those of the spray head 1 of the first, third, and fifth embodiments.
[0042] Figures 13 to 20 show an eighth embodiment of the spray head with noise reduction function for gas-based fire extinguishing equipment according to the present invention.
[0043] The injection head 1 having a silencing function for this gas fire extinguishing equipment supports the silencing member 4 of the injection head 1 of the first embodiment by a bolt 5 and a ring member 6. Instead, it abuts against the peripheral edge of the end face on one side of the silencing member 4 that is open to the atmosphere to support the silencing member 4 on the injection head body 2. It is configured to be performed by a ring member 27 screwed to the injection head body 2 and a bolt 9 screwed to an orifice plate 32 that abuts against the center of the end face on one side of the silencing member 4 that is open to the atmosphere to support the silencing member 4 on the injection head body 2. Here, the silencing member 4 is configured to have a split structure composed of an upstream member 47 and a downstream member 48. The silencing member 4 is disposed such that the end face on the other side (the side opposite to the side open to the atmosphere) of the silencing member 4 abuts against the injection head body 2 (including the orifice plate 32 in this embodiment). And the end face on one side (the side open to the atmosphere) of the silencing member 4 is supported on the injection head body 2 via a ring member 27 that abuts against the peripheral edge of this end face and a bolt 9 that abuts against the center of the end face. And the downstream member 48 constituting the silencing member 4 is formed to have a larger diameter than the upstream member 47, and the outer peripheral edge of this downstream member 48 is fixed by being sandwiched between the end face of the injection head body 2 and the edge of the ring member 27. Thus, the discharge area of the fire extinguishing agent gas released to the atmosphere of the silencing member 4 (downstream member 48) can be made larger, and the noise reduction rate can be increased. The other configurations and operations of the injection head 1 of the eighth embodiment are the same as those of the injection head 1 of the first embodiment.

[0045] The injection head 1 having a sound silencing function for this gas fire extinguishing equipment omits the orifice plate 32 of the injection head 1 of the eighth embodiment, and the sound silencing member 4 is disposed on the outlet side of the fire extinguishing agent gas of the orifice plate 31 (in other embodiments shown below, the orifice plate 32 can be omitted in the same manner as in this embodiment). In addition, the layered space 24 formed on the outlet side of the fire extinguishing agent gas of the orifice plate 31 in the injection head 1 of the eighth embodiment can also be provided. The other configurations and operations of the injection head 1 of this ninth embodiment are the same as those of the injection heads 1 of the first embodiment and the eighth embodiment.
[0046] FIG. 22 shows a tenth embodiment of an injection head having a sound silencing function for gas fire extinguishing equipment of the present invention.
[0047] The injection head 1 having a sound silencing function for this gas fire extinguishing equipment is configured such that the orifice plate 31 of the injection head 1 of the eighth embodiment is detachably fixed via a stepped portion 23 formed in the internal space on the connection portion 21 side of the injection head body 2 and a screw formed on the circumferential surface of the orifice plate 32, similar to the third embodiment. Here, a sound silencing member 44 is disposed on the outlet side of the fire extinguishing agent gas of the orifice plate 31. The other configurations and operations of the injection head 1 of this tenth embodiment are the same as those of the injection heads 1 of the first embodiment, the third embodiment, and the eighth embodiment.
[0048] FIG. 23 shows an eleventh embodiment of an injection head having a sound silencing function for gas fire extinguishing equipment of the present invention.
[0049] The injection head 1 having a sound silencing function for this gas fire extinguishing equipment is configured such that the orifice plate 31 of the injection head 1 of the eighth embodiment is detachably fixed via a stepped portion 23 formed in the internal space on the connection portion 21 side of the injection head body 2 and a screw formed on the circumferential surface of the orifice plate 32, similar to the injection head 1 of the third embodiment. Further, a sound silencing member 45 is disposed at a location that was the space 24 in the injection head 1 of the first embodiment, which is continuous with the outlet side of the fire extinguishing agent gas of the orifice plate 31. The other configurations and operations of the injection head 1 of this eleventh embodiment are the same as those of the injection heads 1 of the first embodiment, the third embodiment, and the eighth embodiment.
[0050] The spray head with noise-reducing function for gas-based fire extinguishing equipment of the present invention has been described above based on several embodiments. However, the present invention is not limited to the configurations described in the above embodiments, and the configuration can be modified as appropriate without departing from the spirit of the invention, such as by appropriately combining the configurations described in each embodiment.
[0051] The noise-reducing spray head for gas-based fire extinguishing systems of the present invention can be widely used in gas-based fire extinguishing systems that use extinguishing agent gases such as nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and fluorine compounds, because it makes it easier to store the spray heads in stock, thereby resolving issues of storage space constraints and increased costs. Furthermore, its application is not limited to newly installed gas-based fire extinguishing systems, but can also be applied to existing gas-based fire extinguishing systems simply by replacing the spray head.
