Abstract

A laser welding machine includes a laser medium, an excitation light source, and a control unit. The driving energy is supplied to the excitation light source to inject excitation energy into the laser medium. The system controls the initial excitation energy (which is less than the pulse driving energy) to the excitation light source. The initial discharge time, which is longer than the pulse width of the driving energy, precedes the first weld bead. The connection is established after the initial power supply time has elapsed, and then after a certain period, the driving energy pulse is supplied to... The light source is used to stimulate the first weld.

Claims

1. A laser welding machine is used for sequentially welding multiple welds in a single workpiece by emitting a pulsed laser beam. The instrument consists of: a laser medium that emits the laser beam for the weld while the excitation energy is injected; an excitation light source that injects excitation energy into the laser medium while the drive energy is supplied; and a control unit that supplies the pulsed drive energy for the excitation energy to the excitation light source. The control unit (before welding the first of the multiple welds) injects less energy than the excitation energy into the laser medium by supplying an initial excitation energy (which is lower than the drive energy) to the excitation light source for an initial supply duration longer than the pulse width of the drive energy, and allows a predetermined time interval to pass before welding the first weld after the initial supply time. 2.The laser welding machine under claim 1, which includes: a sweeping mechanism incorporating a galvano scanner that sweeps multiple welds and projects a laser beam in the form of pulses emitted by the laser medium onto the multiple welds sequentially; 3. The laser welding machine under claim 2, which includes: a workpiece support on which multiple workpieces of a different type are placed; and a moving mechanism that moves the workpieces placed on the workpiece support toward the welding platform and stops the workpiece to be welded at the welding platform, where the control unit provides initial excitation energy to the excitation light source while the workpiece to be welded is being moved toward the welding platform; 4.The laser welding method for sequentially welding multiple welds in a single workpiece by emitting a pulsed laser beam, which consists of: injection (before welding the first weld of multiple welds) of energy less than the excitation energy to the laser medium by supplying an initial excitation energy (which is lower than the driving energy and generates excitation energy) to the excitation light source for an initial supply time longer than the pulse width of the driving energy; allowing a predetermined time interval to pass before welding the first weld after the initial supply time; injecting excitation energy to the laser medium by supplying driving energy to the excitation light source after the time interval; and emitting the laser beam for the first weld from the laser medium by the excitation energy.

5. The laser welding method according to claim 4, where the time interval is greater than or equal to the pulse width of the driving energy, and the time interval is shorter than the initial supply time. 6.The laser welding method under claim 4, which further comprises: delivering equal driving energy to each multiple weld point to the excitation light source and welding multiple welds by high-speed pulse welding at more than 100 pulses per second;
