Abstract
Claims
1. A vehicle (1) which is configured to perform external charging to charge the vehicle's built-in power storage device, and which receives power from the charging device (5), where the vehicle (1) includes electrical components which are electrically connected to the power transmission path for the temperature sensor (14) which is configured to detect the temperature of the electrical components, and a control device (3) which is configured to suspend power supply when the temperature detected by the temperature sensor (14) is equal to or greater than the start-up temperature, in comparison to the case where the temperature detected by the temperature sensor (14) is less than the start-up temperature, and the control device (3) is configured to lower the start-up temperature when external charging resumes after external charging has stopped, in comparison to the case before external charging was stopped. 2.
3. A vehicle (1) under claim 1 where the control device (3) is configured to increase the initiation temperature until the initiation temperature reaches a certain value before stopping external charging after the initiation temperature is reduced.
4. A vehicle (1) under claim 3 where the control device (3) is configured to increase the initiation temperature over time after the power supply has dropped below a predetermined value.
5. A vehicle (1) under claim 3 where the control device (3) is configured to increase the initiation temperature over time after the external charging has stopped.

A vehicle (1) under any one of claims 1 through 4 where, as the temperature difference between the temperature detected by the temperature sensor (14) and the temperature of a portion of the electrical component not detected by the temperature sensor (14) becomes greater, the amount of reduction of the initiation temperature at the time of stopping external charging becomes greater.
7. Vehicle (1) under any of the claims of Claims 1 through 5, where the electrical components consist of a charging relay (131,132) which is configured to cut off the power supply on command by the control device (3).

Vehicle (1) under any of the claims of Claims 1 through 5, where the electrical components consist of an inlet (11) into which a charging cable (6) is connected from the charging device (5).Vehicle Charging Method (1) where such vehicle (1) is configured to be charged externally by a vehicle-mounted power storage device using power supplied from a charging device (5) and includes a control device (3), where such charging method includes the use of the control device (3) to detect the temperature of electrical components electrically connected to the vehicle's power supply path (1), the use of the control device (3) to suspend the power supply when the temperature detected in the detection step exceeds the threshold temperature compared to the case where the temperature detected in the detection step is below the threshold temperature, and the use of the control device (3) to reduce the threshold temperature by the control device (3) when external charging resumes after the external charging has stopped, compared to the case before the external charging was stopped;
