AI Technical Summary
In the new air interface system, when multiple physical downlink control channels (PDCCHs) are repeatedly transmitted, the existing DAI counting method cannot effectively avoid feeding back multiple HARQ-Ack bits to multiple PDCCHs scheduling the same PDSCH, and when the same DAI is detected, In this case, it is easy to mistakenly believe that there is a missed detection of PDCCH.
A DAI counting method is proposed. By counting DAI at reference PDCCH listening opportunities, it avoids feedback of multiple HARQ-Ack bits to multiple PDCCHs scheduling the same PDSCH in multiple PDCCH repeated transmission scenarios, and avoids feedback when the same DAI is detected. It is mistakenly believed that there is a missed detection of PDCCH. This method sends target information to the terminal through network equipment, helps the terminal determine the reference PDCCH monitoring opportunity, and counts DAI at this opportunity.
It effectively avoids feedback of multiple HARQ-Ack bits to multiple PDCCHs scheduling the same PDSCH in multiple PDCCH repeated transmission scenarios, avoids mistakenly believing that there is a PDCCH missed detection when the same DAI is detected, and improves the accuracy of DAI counting. sex and efficiency.

[0033] For the convenience of understanding, some contents related to the embodiments of the present application are described below.
[0034] I. DAI counting method of dynamic codebook
[0035] Currently, two types of hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) codebooks can be supported, including type-1 and type-2. Among them, type-1 is a semi-static HARQ-ACK codebook, and type-2 is a dynamic HARQ-ACK codebook. For the semi-static HARQ-ACK codebook, a terminal (User Equipment, UE) determines the HARQ-ACK codebook according to the parameters such as the candidate PDSCH reception opportunity (candidate PDSCH reception occasion) configured by the radio resource control (RRC), the time domain resource allocation of the PDSCH (PDSCH-TimeDomainResourceAllocation), and the feedback timing of the PDSCH to HARQ-ACK (dl-DataToUL-ACK or PDSCH-toHARQ-timing). The HARQ-ACK codebook is determined according to all PDSCHs that may be fed back in a certain time slot, and the codebook is generally large because it may contain HARQs for actually scheduled and unscheduled PDSCHs. For the dynamic HARQ-ACK codebook, the UE determines the HARQ-ACK codebook according to the actually scheduled PDSCH, and the codebook size of the HARQ-ACK is generally smaller than that of the semi-static HARQ-ACK codebook because it only feeds back the actually scheduled PDSCH. Which type of codebook is used by the UE is determined by RRC configuration.
[0036] When using a dynamic HARQ-ACK codebook, in order to prevent the situation that the number of HARQ-ACK bits considered by the transceiver on both sides is inconsistent due to the UE failing to correctly detect the scheduled PDCCH, the network device includes DAI in the downlink control information (DCI). DAI can be divided into two parts: counter DAI (C-DAI) and total DAI (T-DAI) in a carrier aggregation scenario. The counter DAI is used to indicate the number of downlink transmissions up to the DCI scheduling downlink transmission, and the total DAI indicates the total number of downlink transmissions of all carriers up to the monitoring opportunity (MO) where the DCI is located. The UE determines the HARQ-Ack feedback codebook according to the received DAI.
[0037] Since there are only two bits for the resource in the DCI, no matter T-DAI or C-DAI, the UE can only determine less than 4 PDCCH miss detection through the information of DAI. For example, the following cases can be included:
[0038] Case 1: After the UE detects the PDCCH with C-DAI = 0, if the UE does not detect the PDCCH with C-DAI = 1, but detects the PDCCH with C-DAI = 2, it is considered that the PDCCH with C-DAI = 1 is missed, and the HARQ-Ack bit corresponding to the PDCCH with C-DAI = 1 is generated when generating the HARQ-Ack feedback codebook.
[0039] Case 2: If the UE detects the PDCCH with C-DAI = 0, if the UE does not detect the PDCCH with C-DAI = 1, 2, 3, but detects the PDCCH with C-DAI = 0, it is considered that the PDCCH with C-DAI = 1, 2, 3 is missed, and the HARQ-Ack bit corresponding to the PDCCH with C-DAI = 1, 2, 3 is generated when generating the HARQ-Ack feedback codebook. At the same time, since the DAI has only 2 bits, the value of C-DAI will be repeated without transmitting 4 PDCCHs, that is, the DAI completes a round of cycle, and the counter j is used to count the number of DAI value cycles to determine how many rounds the DAI value cycles, and to determine the number of bits of the HARQ-Ack codebook. If the UE detects the PDCCH with C-DAI = 0, if the UE does not detect the PDCCH with C-DAI = 1, 2, 3, but detects the PDCCH with C-DAI = 0, it is considered that the value of C-DAI completes a round of cycle, that is, the PDCCH with C-DAI = 1, 2, 3 is transmitted in the middle, at this time, the counter j = j + 1;
[0040] Case 3: If the UE detects the PDCCH with C-DAI = X, if the UE detects the PDCCH with C-DAI = Y, if Y ≤ X, it is considered that the value of DAI enters the next cycle, and the counter j = j + 1.
[0041] II. PDCCH repetition
[0042] If PDCCH transmission is introduced multiple times, that is, PDCCH is repeatedly transmitted, the same PDSCH transmission is scheduled, which can be a non-repeated PDSCH or a repeatedly transmitted PDSCH. The redundancy version (RV) of the repeatedly transmitted PDSCHs can be the same or different.
[0043] If multiple PDCCHs are used to schedule the same PDSCH transmission, and the DAI value is counted according to the order of the MOs of the PDCCHs, then according to the existing HARQ-Ack feedback and DAI counting rules, each PDCCH has corresponding HARQ-Ack feedback bits. For example, if two PDCCHs are used to schedule a PDSCH transmission, then HARQ-Ack feedback is required for both PDCCHs, which causes redundancy in the number of feedback bits and reduces the performance of the feedback. The transmission of the two PDCCHs can be repeated or non-repeated.
[0044] If the same DAI value is used in multiple PDCCHs, then according to the existing rules, the UE is considered to have missed some PDCCHs, and the counter j of the number of cycles of the DAI is j=j+1. However, since multiple PDCCHs are used for scheduling, the UE has not missed any PDCCHs. Therefore, in the case of introducing PDCCH repetition for PDSCH transmission, a new DAI counting method is needed to make the UE not need to feedback multiple HARQ-Ack bits for multiple PDCCHs scheduling the same PDSCH, and to avoid considering that there is a missed PDCCH when the same DAI is detected. This is described in detail in the following embodiments.
[0045] Referring to FIG. 2, which is a flowchart of a DAI counting method provided by an embodiment of the present application, the method is applied to a terminal. As shown in FIG. 2, the method includes the following steps:
[0046] In step 201, in the case of configuring PDCCH repetition transmission, DAI counting is performed at a reference PDCCH monitoring opportunity.
[0047] In this embodiment, the network device can configure whether the terminal performs PDCCH repetition transmission. The PDCCH repetition transmission can be understood as multiple PDCCHs scheduling the same PDSCH transmission, or the network configuring the UE to perform monitoring for scheduling the same PDSCH transmission at multiple PDCCH monitoring opportunities.
[0048] The reference PDCCH monitoring occasion can be any one of the PDCCH monitoring occasions corresponding to the multiple PDCCHs of the configured repeated transmission. The reference PDCCH monitoring occasion can be indicated by the network device or agreed by the protocol. Since the reference PDCCH monitoring occasion is defined, the DAI counting can be performed according to the monitoring occasion in which the detected PDCCH is located. Specifically, it can be determined whether the monitoring occasion in which the currently detected PDCCH is located is the reference PDCCH monitoring occasion. If the monitoring occasion is the reference PDCCH monitoring occasion, the DAI counting can be performed according to the DAI value carried by the detected PDCCH in the monitoring occasion. If the monitoring occasion is not the reference PDCCH monitoring occasion, the DAI counting is not performed in the monitoring occasion, or in other words, the DAI counting is not performed. If the DAI counting is performed, the detected DAI and the temporary DAI are compared. The DAI counting is not performed, that is, the detected DAI and the temporary DAI are not compared. The temporary DAI is the DAI value currently stored by the UE.
[0049] In the embodiment of the present application, the DAI counting is performed in the reference PDCCH monitoring occasion, so that in the multiple PDCCH repeated transmission scenario, it is not necessary to feed back multiple HARQ-Ack bits for the multiple PDCCHs scheduling the same PDSCH, and it is also avoided that the PDCCH misdetection is considered to exist in the case of detecting the same DAI. Therefore, the problem of DAI counting in the multiple PDCCH repeated transmission scenario is solved.
[0050] Optionally, in an embodiment, the reference PDCCH monitoring occasion includes any one of the following:
[0051] The PDCCH monitoring occasion indicated by the network device;
[0052] The first PDCCH monitoring occasion or the last PDCCH monitoring occasion in the M PDCCH monitoring occasions corresponding to the repeated M PDCCHs; wherein M is an integer greater than 1.
[0053] In an embodiment, the reference PDCCH monitoring occasion can be indicated by the network device or agreed by the protocol. For example, the network device can indicate the specific PDCCH monitoring occasion as the reference PDCCH monitoring occasion. Specifically, the network device can indicate the reference PDCCH monitoring occasion through RRC and DCI signaling. The network device can indicate the reference PDCCH monitoring occasion when configuring the terminal to perform PDCCH repeated transmission. The indicated reference monitoring occasion can be any one of the multiple PDCCH monitoring occasions of the configured repeated transmission.
[0054] In another embodiment, one of the multiple PDCCH monitoring occasions of the repeated PDCCHs can also be configured as the reference PDCCH monitoring occasion by protocol agreement. For example, the first PDCCH monitoring occasion or the last PDCCH monitoring occasion among the M PDCCH monitoring occasions corresponding to the repeated M PDCCHs.
[0055] Further, the position of the reference PDCCH monitoring occasion is determined according to any one of the following:
[0056] The first PDCCH monitoring occasion among the M PDCCH monitoring occasions corresponding to the repeated M PDCCHs, M being an integer greater than 1;
[0057] The first indication information carried by the PDCCH, the first indication information being used to indicate the sorting position of the PDCCH among the M PDCCHs.
[0058] In an embodiment, the network device can indicate the first PDCCH monitoring occasion among the M PDCCH monitoring occasions corresponding to the repeated M PDCCHs, and the terminal can determine the position of the reference PDCCH monitoring occasion after determining the first PDCCH monitoring occasion. Specifically, the network device can indicate in the PDCCH transmitted in the first PDCCH monitoring occasion that the PDCCH is the PDCCH transmitted in the first PDCCH monitoring occasion, for example, the network device can indicate in the PDCCH transmitted in the first PDCCH monitoring occasion that the PDCCH is the first PDCCH, which can be understood as the PDCCH transmitted in the first PDCCH monitoring occasion among the M PDCCH monitoring occasions, or can be understood as the PDCCH transmitted for the first time among the M PDCCHs transmitted in the M PDCCH monitoring occasions. If the last PDCCH monitoring occasion is the reference monitoring occasion, the terminal can determine the other sorted PDCCH monitoring occasions according to the first PDCCH monitoring occasion, for example, the terminal can determine the last PDCCH monitoring occasion as the last PDCCH monitoring occasion after the first PDCCH monitoring occasion as the reference PDCCH monitoring occasion. Of course, the position of the first PDCCH monitoring occasion can also be indicated by other signaling.
[0059] In another embodiment, the first indication information for indicating the order position of the PDCCH in the M PDCCHs can be directly carried in the PDCCH. In this embodiment, the order position can be understood as the position of the PDCCH transmission in the configured M PDCCH transmissions, such as the Nth PDCCH transmission or the Nth PDCCH. Wherein, the Nth PDCCH transmission can be understood as the PDCCH transmitted in the Nth PDCCH monitoring opportunity corresponding to the M repeated PDCCHs, and N is a positive integer less than or equal to M. For example, referring to the third PDCCH monitoring opportunity, only in the third PDCCH transmission or the third PDCCH monitoring opportunity indicated by the first indication information in the monitored PDCCH, the DAI counting is performed in the monitoring opportunity corresponding to the PDCCH, and the DAI counting is not performed in the remaining PDCCH monitoring opportunities. Or, the terminal detects any one of the M PDCCH monitoring opportunities, and the first indication information is carried in the PDCCH, and then the terminal can determine the reference PDCCH monitoring opportunity according to the indication information. For example, the terminal detects that the first indication information in the PDCCH indicates that the PDCCH is the N-1th PDCCH transmission or the N-1th PDCCH monitoring opportunity, and then the terminal can determine that the next PDCCH monitoring opportunity is the Nth PDCCH monitoring opportunity, that is, the Nth PDCCH monitoring opportunity is determined as the reference PDCCH monitoring opportunity. Similarly, if the first PDCCH monitoring opportunity or the first PDCCH transmission is the reference PDCCH monitoring opportunity, the terminal can also recursively determine the reference PDCCH monitoring opportunity from the first PDCCH monitoring opportunity.
[0060] In another embodiment, an indication information can be introduced in the PDCCH for indicating whether the DAI field in the PDCCH is counted by the terminal. If the information indicates that the DAI counting is performed, the UE performs the DAI counting; otherwise, the terminal does not perform the DAI counting, that is, the UE ignores the DAI value in the current PDCCH monitoring opportunity. Preferably, the method can not be limited to the network configured with PDCCH repeated transmission or multiple PDCCH monitoring opportunities for detecting the scheduling information of the same PDSCH.
[0061] It should be understood that the DAI values in the repeated PDCCHs can be the same or different. In this embodiment, the DAI counting in the reference PDCCH monitoring opportunity includes:
[0062] In the case that the DAI values in the repeated M PDCCHs are the same, the DAI value in the detected PDCCH is counted in the reference PDCCH monitoring opportunity.
[0063] That is, in the embodiment, in the repeated M PDCCHs, for the multiple PDCCHs with the same DAI value, only 1 DAI counting is performed.
[0064] In the embodiment, when the DAI counting is performed in the reference PDCCH monitoring opportunity, the DAI value corresponding to the DAI carried by any one of the M PDCCHs can be detected in the reference monitoring opportunity, or the DAI value can be detected before the reference monitoring opportunity, which is not limited further herein.
[0065] Further, in an embodiment, the method further comprises:
[0066] determining whether to count the DAI cycle number counter.
[0067] In the embodiment, since the DAI usually adopts a small number of bits, for example, only 2 bits. Then the C-DAI value is repeated without transmitting 4 PDCCHs, that is, the DAI completes a cycle, and the counter j is used to count the number of DAI value cycles, to determine how many cycles the DAI value has cycled, and to determine the number of bits of the HARQ-Ack codebook. Among them, the 4 PDCCHs refer to the need to send 4 PDCCHs, and each PDCCH has multiple repeated transmissions, that is, each PDCCH has multiple PDCCH monitoring opportunities. It should be understood that when the number of value cycles is counted, each time the count operation can be added 1.
[0068] It should be understood that the determination of whether to count the DAI cycle number counter includes:
[0069] In the case of meeting the preset condition, the DAI cycle number counter does not count;
[0070] Among them, the preset condition includes:
[0071] The PDCCH monitoring opportunity for PDCCH repeated transmission detects N PDCCHs, and the N PDCCHs carry the same DAI value.
[0072] Since the multiple PDCCHs with the same DAI value do not count the number of DAI value cycles, it is avoided to be misunderstood as missing PDCCH detection.
[0073] Optionally, in an embodiment, the preset condition further includes:
[0074] The physical downlink shared channel PDSCH scheduling information scheduled by the N PDCCHs is the same.
[0075] It should be noted that the PDSCH scheduling information can include at least one of the following: a new data indicator (NDI), a HARQ process number, a resource of the PDSCH, a transport block size, a redundancy version, a priority of a HARQ codebook, and a modulation and coding scheme (MCS). The DAI can include at least one of a counter DAI and a total DAI.
[0076] The resource of the PDSCH can include at least one of the following: a time-frequency resource, a carrier, a mapping manner, a demodulation reference signal (DMRS), and a resource allocation manner.
[0077] Further, in an embodiment, after the DAI counting at the reference PDCCH monitoring occasion, the method further includes:
[0078] According to the DAI values in the detected L PDCCHs and the DCI repetition count information in the L PDCCHs, a hybrid automatic repeat request-acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) codebook is determined, L being a positive integer greater than 1.
[0079] In this embodiment, when the UE detects PDCCHs with the same or different DAI values and the PDSCH scheduling information of the detected L PDCCHs is the same, a hybrid automatic repeat request-acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) codebook is determined according to the DAI values in the detected L PDCCHs and the DCI repetition count information in the L PDCCHs.
[0080] The manner of determining the HARQ-ACK codebook can be that, for PDCCHs with the same PDSCH scheduling information, one HARQ-ACK feedback information is fed back.
[0081] In this embodiment, when X1 is not equal to Y1, the terminal understands that mod(X1-N1,X) DCIs are lost. X1 and Y1 satisfy:
[0082] X1 = Mod(x,X);
[0083] Y1 = Mod(y,Y);
[0084] X = 2^Q, Q being a DAI bit length; or X = 4.
[0085] Y is the number of repeated transmissions of the PDCCH or the maximum number of repeated transmissions; or Y = 2^P, P is the bit length of the field indicating the repetition number information in the DCI (DCI repetition number field bit length), which is used to indicate the number of the transmission of the current PDCCH in multiple transmissions, or the number of the monitoring opportunity of the PDCCH in multiple PDCCH monitoring opportunities;
[0086] x is the difference between the DAI value detected by the terminal and the stored DAI value, wherein after detecting the PDCCH each time, the DAI value carried in the PDCCH is compared with the currently stored DAI value to obtain the difference x, and then the DAI value carried in the currently detected PDCCH is stored to update the currently stored DAI value;
[0087] y is the difference between the DCI repetition count information of the PDCCH with the same PDSCH scheduling information detected by the terminal and the stored DCI repetition count information of the PDCCH.
[0088] In order to better understand the present application, the implementation process of the present application will be described in detail in combination with specific examples.
[0089] In embodiment 1, if the network configures the UE to use the PDCCH repetition mode to schedule the PDSCH, the PDCCH repetition mode to schedule the PDSCH can also be described as transmitting multiple PDCCHs to schedule the same PDSCH transmission, and the PDSCH transmission can be a non-repeated PDSCH or a repeatedly transmitted PDSCH, and the rv of the repeatedly transmitted multiple PDSCHs can be the same or different.
[0090] For example, the network configures the PDCCH to be repeated at most N times, and the UE performs PDCCH monitoring in N monitoring opportunities. If the UE detects the PDCCH in any one of the PDCCH monitoring opportunities, the DAI value in the PDCCH is taken as the DAI value of the reference PDCCH monitoring opportunity, and the reference PDCCH monitoring opportunity is one of the N monitoring opportunities, which can be one of the monitoring opportunities indicated by the network, or the first monitoring opportunity or the last monitoring opportunity in the N monitoring opportunities.
[0091] In an embodiment, the PDCCH is repeatedly transmitted at most twice, and the DAI value in the DCI detected by the UE in the two PDCCH monitoring opportunities is taken as the DAI value in the PDCCH detected in the last PDCCH monitoring opportunity. That is, if the UE detects the PDCCH in the first monitoring opportunity, the DAI counting is not performed in the current monitoring opportunity, and the DAI counting is performed in the last PDCCH monitoring opportunity.
[0092] In another embodiment, the PDCCH is repeated at most twice, and the DAI value in the DCI detected by the UE in the two PDCCH MOs is the DAI value in the PDCCH detected in the first monitoring occasion. That is, if the UE detects a PDCCH in the second monitoring occasion, it does not count the DAI in the current monitoring occasion, and uses the DAI for counting in the first PDCCH monitoring occasion.
[0093] Further, since multiple PDCCHs are used to schedule the same PDSCH, when the UE detects that the DAI values in the multiple PDCCHs are the same, the UE does not increase the counter of the number of DAI counter cycles.
[0094] Further, the UE does not increase the counter of the number of DAI counter cycles when it detects that the PDSCH scheduling information in multiple DCIs is the same.
[0095] The UE determines the position of the HARQ-Ack feedback bit of the scheduled PDSCH in the HARQ-Ack codebook according to the reference monitoring occasion and the DAI value. If the reference monitoring occasion is the first PDCCH monitoring occasion, the position of the HARQ-Ack feedback bit corresponding to the scheduled PDSCH in the HARQ-Ack codebook is determined according to the first monitoring occasion. If the reference monitoring occasion is the last PDCCH monitoring occasion, the position of the HARQ-Ack feedback bit corresponding to the scheduled PDSCH in the HARQ-Ack codebook is determined according to the last monitoring occasion.
[0096] Optionally, the above-mentioned DAI includes a counter DAI or a total DAI
[0097] Embodiment 2: Method for UE to determine the order of PDCCH monitoring occasions
[0098] According to the starting monitoring occasion indicated by the network, for example, the network can indicate that the starting PDCCH monitoring occasion for PDCCH repetition transmission is the first monitoring occasion, and then the Nth PDCCH monitoring occasion is sequentially determined according to the starting PDCCH monitoring occasion in the consecutive monitoring occasions configured by the network. The multiple monitoring occasions can satisfy at least one of the following conditions:
[0099] The monitoring occasions belong to the same serving cell or different serving cells, and the monitoring occasions of different serving cells are sorted according to the size of the index value of the serving cell;
[0100] The same TRP or different TRPs, different TRPs are sorted according to the index value of the number of TRPs;
[0101] The same control resource set (CORESET) or different CORESETs, and the monitoring opportunities of different CORESETs are sorted according to the CORESET index or the control resource set pool index;
[0102] The same search space set or different search space sets, and the monitoring opportunities of different search space sets are sorted according to the index value of the search space;
[0103] The same slot or PDCCH monitoring span or different slots or PDCCH monitoring spans, and different slots or PDCCH monitoring spans are sorted according to the index value of the slot or PDCCH monitoring span.
[0104] Optionally, the indication information of the current PDCCH transmission times can be included in the DCI field. The UE can determine whether the PDCCH monitoring opportunity is the reference PDCCH monitoring opportunity according to the indication of the current PDCCH transmission times in the PDCCH.
[0105] Embodiment 3: The network can schedule the same PDSCH transmission in multiple PDCCHs, that is, the UE can detect the same PDSCH scheduling information in multiple PDCCHs. In multiple PDCCHs, the indication information of the PDCCH repetition times is P bits, and the bit number of the DAI is Q bits. For multiple DCIs with the same PDSCH scheduling information, the DAI does not require to be the same, for example, the DAI can be counted together with the DCI scheduling the same or different processes of PDSCH. The UE detects one PDCCH each time, which is 1 in the DCI scheduling a certain PDSCH. The UE stores the DAI value and the DCI repetition times value in the DCI. The initial value of the value stored by the UE is 0.
[0106] The UE determines the HARQ-Ack codebook by combining the DAI value in the detected PDCCH and the DCI repetition count information. For PDCCHs with the same PDSCH scheduling information, the UE feeds back the HARQ-Ack feedback information once. That is, although the DAI values in the repeated PDCCHs are different, the HARQ-Ack feedback corresponding to the multiple DAI values is transmitted only once in the information bits in the HARQ-Ack codebook.
[0107] If the difference between the DAI value detected by the UE and the stored DAI value is x, and the difference between the DCI repetition count information of the PDCCH with the same PDSCH scheduling information detected by the UE and the stored DCI repetition count information of the PDCCH is y, X1 = Mod(x, X) is not equal to Y1 = Mod(y, Y), the UE considers that mod(X1-Y1, X) DCIs are missing, and generates the HARQ-Ack codebook. Where X = 2^Q, Y = 2^P. The UE considers that X PDSCHs of other processes are missing. Then the UE sets the feedback information bit corresponding to this DCI to NACK in the HARQ-Ack codebook.
[0108] For example, P = 2, Q = 2, the UE detects a DCI with DAI = 0 and DCI repetition count = 0. If the UE detects another DCI with the same PDSCH scheduling information, where DAI = 2 and PDCCH repetition count = 1, the UE considers that X1 = 2 and Y1 = 1, and considers that one PDSCH of other processes is missing. Then the UE sets the feedback information bit corresponding to this DCI to NACK in the HARQ-Ack codebook.
[0109] Optionally, for the case where PDCCH repetition is configured, the PDSCH not detected by the above method is an SPS PDSCH, or a PDSCH scheduled by a non-repeated PDCCH.
