Abstract
Claims
OCR23 / 01 / 25671. Methods for the preparation of personal care components, which include at least the following steps: (A) provision of a recirculating aqueous current containing at least one fatty alcohol and at least one nonionic surfactant; where the fatty alcohols and nonionic surfactants are incorporated, in the recirculating aqueous current, partially or entirely, in a gel mesh structure; (B) heat exchange between the recirculating aqueous current and a cooling medium, for obtaining a cooled recirculating aqueous current; where the current is cooled to a temperature of less than or equal to 45 °C, ideally in the range of ≥15 to less than or equal to 45 °C, more ideally in the range of ≥25 to less than or equal to 45 °C; (C) addition of at least one temperature-sensitive compound to the cooled recirculating aqueous current; and (D) obtaining the personal care components.2.Method under Requisition 1, in which the recirculated aqueous current is recirculated through reactor 103. Any method under the preceding Requisition, in which at least one fatty alcohol is selected from the group consisting of C114 to C30 straight-chain or branched-chain fatty alcohols; more appropriately from the group consisting of C14 to C30 straight-chain fatty alcohols; even more appropriately from the group consisting of cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, cetearyl alcohol and behenyl alcohol4.Any method under the prior claim, in which at least one nonionic surfactant is selected from a group containing polyoxyethylene C8 to C30 alkyl ethers; optimally from a group containing polyoxyethylene C8 to C30 alkyl ethers with at least 2 ethylene oxide units, or at least 5 ethylene oxide units; more optimally from a group containing polyoxyethylene C8 to C30 alkyl ethers with 10 to 50 ethylene oxide units; or even more optimally from a group containing polyoxyethylene C8 to C30 alkyl ethers Alkyl ethers containing 15 to 30 ethylene oxide units; still suitable from groups containing ceterate-25 and stearate-205. Any method under the prior claims, in which the reverse-circulating aqueous current and the personal care components derived from it contain at least one fatty alcohol and at least one nonionic surfactant in a weight ratio in the range of greater than or equal to 10.0:0.5 to less than or equal to 10.0:4.0, more appropriate in the range of greater than or equal to 10.0:1.0 to less than or equal to 10.0.0:3.5; more appropriately in the range of greater than or equal to 10.0:1.5 to less than 10.0:3.

Any method under the preceding claim, where the personal care component derived from this contains at least one fatty alcohol in an amount in the range of greater than or equal to 2.5 to less than or equal to 20.0% by weight, more appropriately in the range of greater than or equal to 3 to less than or equal to 15% by weight, more appropriately in the range of greater than or equal to 4 to less than or equal to 10% by weight, compared to the total weight of the component7. Any method under the preceding claim, where the personal care component derived from this contains at least one non-ionic surfactant in an amount in the range of greater than or equal to 0.2 to less than or equal to 5.0% by weight, more appropriately in the range of greater than or equal to 0.5 to less than or equal to 4% by weight, more appropriately in the range of greater than or equal to 1.0 to less than or equal to 2.5% by weight, compared to the total weight of the component8.Any method under the Prior Evidence, in which a recirculating aqueous current incorporating at least one fatty alcohol and at least one nonionic surfactant is provided at a temperature in the range of 50 or greater to 65 degrees Celsius.
9. Any method under the Prior Evidence, incorporating, prior to step (A), the step of adding at least one fatty alcohol and at least one nonionic surfactant to the aqueous fluid.
10. Any method under the Prior Evidence, incorporating, prior to step (A), the step of adding at least one fatty alcohol and at least one nonionic surfactant to the aqueous fluid.
11. Any method under the preceding claim, in addition to, after the addition of at least one fatty alcohol and at least one nonionic surfactant to the aqueous fluid, and before the provision of the recirculating aqueous current of step (A), a pre-cooling step of the recirculating aqueous current is appropriately performed at a temperature in the range of 50 or greater to 65 or less than. 12.
13. Personal care components, obtained by any of the preceding claims, which include additional steps for providing a concentrated aqueous feed stream and introducing it directly into the recirculating aqueous stream, where the concentrated aqueous feed stream contains sodium laureth sulfate.
14. Personal care components, obtained by any of the preceding claims, which are selected from the group of shampoo and conditioner components.
15. Equipment 1, suitable for the preparation of personal care components in accordance with claims 13 or 14, in which equipment 1 includes: - Reactor 10 for the storage of aqueous fluid; and - Recirculating cycle 11 for the transport of aqueous fluid as a recirculating aqueous stream from reactor 10 back to reactor 10; in which the recirculating cycle 11 includes a pump 15 and a heat exchanger 12.
