Claims

OCR07AP1. Binder composition consisting of water-based components, selectable main component from natural starch or dextrin, and auxiliary components consisting of Progressive Cellulosic Composite (PCC) derived from natural or recycled biomass sources, or a combination of both.

2. Binder composition according to Patent 1, where the Progressive Cellulosic Composite is derived from a group of recycled paper, agricultural waste, plant-based food products, agricultural processing waste, cotton waste, and pulp and paper industry waste, either individually or in combination.

3. Binder composition according to Patent 2, where the Progressive Cellulosic Composite has a particle size of 20-200 mesh, with a preferred size of 40 mesh, a particularly desirable size of 60 mesh, and a most desirable size of 100 mesh.

4. Binder composition according to Patent 3, where the binder composition contains a Progressive Cellulosic Composite ranging from 2 to 25% by weight of solids in the dry state of the binder composition. 5.Binder composition according to claim 4, where the amount of advanced cellulose composite is required to be in the range of 8 to 10% by weight of solids in the dry binder composition; 6. Binder composition according to claim 5, where the auxiliary components also include at least one synthetic binder, acrylic binder, water-soluble binder, and resin binder; 7. Binder composition according to claim 6, where the resin binder is selectable from urea-formaldehyde, phenol-formaldehyde, and melamine-formaldehyde; 8. The adhesive composition under Patent 7, in which the adhesive composition is further composed of filler components derived from inorganic fillers, natural gums, and water-soluble polymers, either individually or in combination; 9. The method of manufacturing any one of the adhesive compositions under Patents 1 through 7 includes:

1. Selection and preparation of raw materials for the preparation of advanced cellulose composites; 2. Grinding of raw materials and filtration through an 18-mesh sieve; 3. Ingestion of raw materials into a mechanical decomposition process including grinding, milling, and pulverizing, either individually or in combination; 4.

5. The mechanically decomposed raw material is filtered through sieves of varying sizes ranging from 20 to 200 mesh per square inch, with the desired sizes being 40, 60, 80, and 100 mesh per square inch, resulting in the advanced cellulose composite.

10. The advanced cellulose composite is homogenized with the main component and water using a low-shear mixing method, resulting in the ready-to-use binder component.

11. The binder component manufacturing method according to patent 9 further incorporates enzymatic, biological, or chemical treatment of the raw material, or a combination of these, prior to the filtration step.

12. The binder component manufacturing method according to either patent 9 or 11 involves simultaneous filtration of the raw material with continuous water rinsing.

13. The binder component manufacturing method according to either patent 9 or 11 involves chemically or enzymatically surface-modifying the advanced cellulose composite to obtain specific surface charges.The use of any one of the binding components under Patents 1 through 8 for corrugated paper, paper cores, paper products including coated paper and specialty paper, packaging including molded pulp packaging, cardboard boxes and flexible paper packaging materials, construction sheets, and insulation sheets; 14. The use of the binding component under Patent 13 by applying the binding component to at least one surface of corrugated paper and bonding the corrugated paper to the backing paper;
