AI Technical Summary
Laminated peelable containers with a bent neck shape face challenges in effectively discharging contents due to the inner layer shrinking, leading to a significant amount of remaining contents as the neck portion directs the flow away from the mouth, causing inefficiency in content application.
A laminated peelable container design featuring an outer layer and a deformable inner layer with a vertically extending adhesive band, positioned on the side where the mouth is inclined, ensures the inner layer remains adhered and prevents peeling, allowing for efficient content flow to the mouth even when the inner layer reduces volume during discharge.
The container effectively reduces the amount of remaining contents by maintaining the inner layer's adherence to the outer layer, ensuring a consistent flow path to the mouth, even with a bent neck shape, thereby enhancing the discharge efficiency and minimizing waste.

Abstract
Description
Delaminated container
[0001] The present invention relates to a delaminated container in which an inner layer is peelably laminated on the inner surface of an outer layer.
[0002] Conventionally, a peelable laminated container has been known as a synthetic resin container for storing contents, which has an outer layer, an inner layer that is peelably laminated on the inner surface of the outer layer and is capable of being freely reduced in volume and deformed, an outside air inlet port connected between the outer layer and the inner layer, and an adhesive band that extends in the vertical direction between the outer layer and the inner layer and partially bonds the outer layer and the inner layer together (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
[0003] With such a peelable laminated container, by introducing outside air between the outer layer and the inner layer through an outside air inlet, only the inner layer shrinks as the contents are ejected, allowing the contents to be ejected without introducing outside air into the inner layer. This means that contents that are prone to deterioration when exposed to air, resulting in a loss of medicinal efficacy, etc., can be stored while preventing this deterioration.
[0004] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2023-51303
[0005] Containers used for applying contents to the skin, etc., often have a configuration in which an application stopper is attached to a curved-neck container body having a cylindrical mouth, a body having a bottom wall with a contact surface and a peripheral wall continuous with the bottom wall, and a neck connecting the mouth and body so that the central axis of the mouth is inclined with respect to the axis of the body. Containers of this shape are often used to store contents whose efficacy decreases when they come into contact with air, such as liquid medicinal patches, and there is a demand for the use of a delaminating container such as the one described above as the container body.
[0006] However, in an application container that uses a peelable laminated container with a bent neck as the container body, the application operation of the contents is carried out with the bending direction of the neck facing downwards, so if the part of the inner layer body on the bending direction side of the neck shrinks as the contents are discharged, the contents become less likely to flow toward the mouth, resulting in a problem in that a large amount of contents remains.
[0007] The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and its object is to provide a delaminating container that can reduce the amount of remaining contents even if it has a bent neck shape.
[0008] The peelable laminated container of the present invention is a peelable laminated container having an outer layer, an inner layer that is peelably laminated on the inner surface of the outer layer and is capable of being freely reduced in volume and deformed, an outside air inlet port connected between the outer layer and the inner layer, and an adhesive band that extends in the vertical direction between the outer layer and the inner layer and partially bonds the outer layer and the inner layer, wherein the outer layer has a curved neck shape having a cylindrical mouth, a bottom with a contact surface, a body with a peripheral wall connected to the bottom, and a neck that connects the mouth and the body so that the central axis of the mouth is inclined relative to the axis of the body, and the adhesive band is provided at least on the side where the mouth is inclined relative to the central axis of the mouth and the axis of the body.
[0009] In the delaminating container of the present invention having the above-described configuration, it is preferable that the adhesive band is provided only on the side of the mouth portion that is inclined with respect to the central axis of the mouth portion and the axis of the body portion.
[0010] In the above-described configuration of the peelable laminated container of the present invention, it is preferable that a predetermined range of the peripheral wall extending downward from the neck on the side where the adhesive band is provided extends linearly downward parallel to the axis of the body.
[0011] In the above-described configuration, the delaminated laminated container of the present invention preferably has an applicator stopper attached to the mouth, the applicator stopper having an inner plug body having an outlet hole and fixed to the mouth, a check valve provided in the outlet hole, an elastically deformable operating member attached to the outside of the inner plug body, a discharge cap having a discharge outlet and attached to the outside of the operating member, a protrusion provided on the operating member and protruding outward from the discharge outlet, an open / close valve provided on the operating member and opening when the protrusion is pushed into the discharge outlet, and an applicator member attached to the outside of the discharge cap and impregnated with the contents.
[0012] According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a delaminating container that can reduce the amount of content remaining even if it has a bent neck shape.

[0014] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS A delaminating container 1 according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings.
[0015] In this specification and claims, "upper" means the upper side when the delaminating container 1 is placed in the upright position shown in FIG. 1, and "lower" means the opposite side.
[0016] The delaminating container 1 shown in Figures 1, 2, and 3 is a container made of synthetic resin used to store liquid contents, such as liquid compresses, which are susceptible to deterioration due to exposure to air, resulting in a loss of medicinal efficacy.
[0017] The delaminating container 1 has a double structure having an outer layer 10 and an inner layer 20 which is deformable and can be compressed in volume and which is peelably laminated inside the outer layer 10.
[0018] The peelable laminated container 1 can be formed, for example, by co-extruding the synthetic resin material forming the outer layer 10 and the synthetic resin material forming the inner layer 20 in a molten state to form a cylindrical laminated parison, and then sandwiching the laminated parison between a mold and blow-molding it (extrusion blow molding).
[0019] The synthetic resin material used to form the outer layer 10 may be, for example, a material primarily made of polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP). The synthetic resin material used to form the inner layer 20 may be, for example, a material primarily made of ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer resin (EVOH). The materials used to form the outer layer 10 and the inner layer 20 are not limited to those mentioned above, and each may have a single layer or a laminate structure.
[0020] The outer layer 10 is a part that constitutes the outer shell of the delaminating container 1, and has a curved neck shape that includes a cylindrical mouth 11, a bottom 12 with a contact surface 12a, a body 13 with a peripheral wall 13a that is continuous with the bottom 12, and a neck 14 that connects the mouth 11 and the body 13 so that the central axis O1 of the mouth 11 is inclined with respect to the axis O2 of the body 13. In other words, the outer layer 10 has a shape in which the neck 14 is curved so that the mouth 11 opens obliquely upward.
[0021] The mouth portion 11 has an external thread 11a integrally formed on the outer circumferential surface, and its central axis O1 is inclined at an angle of 90 degrees or less with respect to the axis O2.
[0022] The contact surface 12a of the bottom 12 is an annular surface that is vertical in the up-down direction. The delaminating container 1 can be placed upright on the contact surface 12a. The contact surface 12a may be divided into multiple parts in the circumferential direction as long as it is formed into the same plane. The inner part of the contact surface 12a of the bottom 12 is a recess 12b that is recessed upward, and a linear protruding rib 12c is provided in the recess 12b. The protruding rib 12c is a cut-off portion formed by the laminated parison being cut off by a mold when the delaminating container 1 is formed by extrusion blow molding, and protrudes downward from the underside of the recess 12b.
[0023] The convex rib 12c of the bottom 12 is formed by peeling away the cut-off portions of the outer layer 10, forming a slit-shaped outside air inlet 30. The outside air inlet 30 is connected between the outer layer 10 and the inner layer 20, and allows outside air to be introduced between the outer layer 10 and the inner layer 20 as the contents are dispensed.
[0024] The axis O2 of the body 13 is perpendicular to the ground surface 12a, and the peripheral wall 13a surrounds the axis O2. An upper portion 13a1 of the peripheral wall 13a, which extends downward from the neck 14 on the side where the adhesive strip 40 is provided, i.e., the side where the opening 11 is inclined, extends linearly downward parallel to the axis O2 of the body 13 in a side view. The cross-sectional shape of the upper portion 13a1 perpendicular to the axis O2 is an ellipse whose minor axis is the direction connecting the axis O2 and the adhesive strip 40. The lower side of the linearly extending upper portion 13a1 of the peripheral wall 13a in a side view forms a curved portion 13a2 that gradually curves radially outward. Between the lower end of the curved portion 13a2 and the bottom 12 is a linear portion 13a3 that extends linearly downward parallel to the axis O2.
[0025] The inner layer body 20 is in the shape of a flexible bag and is laminated over the entire inner surface of the outer layer body 10. The inner layer body 20 is open at the mouth portion 11, and the inside thereof forms a storage space S for storing contents.
[0026] An adhesive strip 40 is provided between the outer layer body 10 and the inner layer body 20. The adhesive strip 40 is a strip-like strip with a width sufficiently narrow compared to the entire circumference of the mouth portion 11 to the body portion 13, and is provided to extend in the vertical direction between the upper end of the mouth portion 11 and the center of the bottom portion 12. As shown in Figure 4, the adhesive strip 40 is disposed between the outer layer body 10 and the inner layer body 20 and laminated thereon, bonding the outer layer body 10 and the inner layer body 20 partially, i.e., over a portion of the circumference of the mouth portion 11 to the body portion 13. Therefore, the inner layer body 20 can be peeled from the outer layer body 10 in the portion where the adhesive strip 40 is not provided, but in the portion where the adhesive strip 40 is provided, the inner layer body 20 is adhered to the outer layer body 10 via the adhesive strip 40 and cannot be peeled from the outer layer body 10.
[0027] In the delaminating container 1 of this embodiment, the adhesive band 40 is provided at least on the side (right side in Fig. 1) where the mouth portion 11 is inclined relative to the central axis O1 of the mouth portion 11 and the axis O2 of the body portion 13. In this embodiment, one adhesive band 40 is provided between the outer layer body 10 and the inner layer body 20 on the side where the mouth portion 11 is inclined relative to the central axis O1 of the mouth portion 11 and the axis O2 of the body portion 13 in the side view shown in Fig. 1, and extends in the vertical direction so that its widthwise center coincides with both the central axis O1 of the mouth portion 11 and the axis O2 of the body portion 13 in the front view shown in Fig. 2.
[0028] The adhesive band 40 can be formed by arranging a strip of adhesive synthetic resin material that constitutes the adhesive band 40 between the synthetic resin material that forms the outer layer 10 of the laminated parison and the synthetic resin material that forms the inner layer 20 when forming the peelable laminated container 1 by extrusion blow molding.
[0029] In this embodiment, the adhesive band 40 is provided along the parting line of the mold formed on the surface of the outer layer 10 during blow molding, and at the bottom 12, the adhesive band 40 extends along the convex rib 12c.
[0030] The delaminating container 1 having the above-described structure can be used as an application container 60 with an application stopper 50 attached to the opening 11, for example, as shown in FIG.
[0031] The applicator plug 50 has a stopper body 51 fixed to the mouth 11, and a check valve 52 is provided in an outlet hole 51a in the stopper body 51. The check valve 52 is a so-called three-point valve that allows the contents to flow from the interior of the storage space S of the inner layer body 20 to the exterior of the storage space S through the outlet hole 51a and prevents the contents or air from flowing from the exterior of the storage space S into the storage space S through the outlet hole 51a. A dome-shaped, elastically deformable actuating member 53 is attached to the exterior of the stopper body 51, and a discharge cap 54 is attached to the exterior of the actuating member 53. The actuating member 53 has a protrusion 53a that protrudes outward from a discharge port 54a provided in the discharge cap 54 and has a pair of slits 53b serving as on-off valves on both sides of the dome-shaped protrusion 53a (only one is shown in FIG. 5). An applicator member 55 is attached to the exterior of the discharge cap 54. The applicator member 55 is formed into a dish shape using a material such as a sponge to cover the discharge cap 54, and is capable of soaking in the contents discharged from the discharge port 54a and applying it to an object to be coated.
[0032] An overcap 56 is detachably attached to the mouth portion 11 to cover the application plug 50 by threading onto the male thread 11a when not in use.
[0033] In the applicator container 60 configured as described above, the overcap 56 is removed from the mouth 11, the delaminating container 1 is tilted so that the mouth 11 or applicator stopper 50 faces downward, and the protrusion 53a is pressed against the object to be coated and pushed into the discharge port 54a, thereby discharging the contents between the actuating member 53 and the inner stopper body 51 through the slit 53b and the discharge port 54a to the outside and applying the contents to the object. When the protrusion 53a is released from the object to be coated, the actuating member 53 returns to its original shape, and the negative pressure generated between the actuating member 53 and the inner stopper body 51 opens the check valve 52, allowing the next contents to be filled between the actuating member 53 and the inner stopper body 51. In this way, by repeatedly pressing the protrusion 53a against the object to be coated and then releasing it, the contents can be discharged from the discharge port 54a toward the object to be coated without squeezing the body 13.
[0034] Here, in the delaminating container 1 according to this embodiment, as described above, the adhesive band 40 is provided at least on the side of the mouth 11 that is inclined relative to the central axis O1 of the mouth 11 and the axis O2 of the body 13. As a result, even if the inner layer body 20 undergoes volume reduction and deformation as the contents are discharged from the inside to the outside of the storage space S, the portion of the inner layer body 20 on the side where the mouth 11 is inclined remains adhered to the outer layer body 10 by the adhesive band 40 and will not peel off from the outer layer body 10, and instead the portion of the inner layer body 20 other than the side where the mouth 11 is inclined will peel off from the outer layer body 10.
[0035] Therefore, when the delaminating container 1 is tilted so that the mouth 11 or applicator plug 50 faces downward in order to dispense the contents toward the object to be coated, the portion of the inner layer body 20 that is adhered to the outer layer body 10 by the adhesive band 40 and does not peel off from the outer layer body 10 is located on the lower side, and this portion ensures a flow path for the contents from the storage space S toward the mouth 11. Therefore, the contents stored in the storage space S of the inner layer body 20 can easily flow toward the mouth 11 side, i.e., the applicator plug 50 side, along the portion of the inner layer body 20 that is adhered to the outer layer body 10 by the adhesive band 40 and does not peel off from the outer layer body 10.
[0036] Thus, according to the peelable laminated container 1 of this embodiment, the adhesive band 40 is provided at least on the side where the mouth 11 is inclined relative to the central axis O1 of the mouth 11 and the axis O2 of the body 13. Therefore, even if the outer layer 10 has a bent neck shape, when the contents are discharged in a state in which the inner layer 20 is deformed and reduced in volume as the contents are discharged, the contents are prevented from flowing easily toward the mouth 11, thereby reducing the amount of remaining contents.
[0037] Furthermore, in the delaminating container 1 according to this embodiment, the adhesive band 40 is provided only on the side of the mouth 11 that is inclined relative to the central axis O1 of the mouth 11 and the axis O2 of the body 13, so that the inner layer body 20 shrinks and deforms toward the side of the inclined mouth 11, more reliably ensuring a flow path for the contents from the storage space S toward the mouth 11. This more effectively prevents the contents from flowing toward the mouth 11 when the contents are discharged in a state in which the inner layer body 20 has undergone volume reduction and deformation as the contents are discharged, and more effectively reduces the amount of remaining contents.
[0038] Furthermore, in the delaminating container 1 according to this embodiment, the upper portion 13a1 of the peripheral wall 13a of the body 13, which extends downward from the neck 14 on the side where the adhesive band 40 is provided, has a shape that extends linearly downward parallel to the axis O2 of the body 13, so that when the contents are dispensed in a state in which the inner layer body 20 is volume-reduced and deformed as the contents are dispensed, the contents can flow more easily from the storage space S toward the mouth 11. That is, if the upper portion 13a1 of the peripheral wall 13a of the body 13, which extends downward from the neck 14 on the side where the adhesive band 40 is provided, has a shape that extends downward at an angle radially outward from the lower end of the mouth 11 or neck 14, the contents must overcome the angled portion when dispensed, making it difficult for them to flow from the storage space S toward the mouth 11. In contrast, in the delaminating container 1 according to this embodiment, the upper portion 13a1 of the peripheral wall 13a of the body 13, which is a predetermined range extending downward from the neck 14 on the side where the adhesive band 40 is provided, is shaped to extend linearly downward parallel to the axis O2 of the body 13, so that the contents can easily flow straight along the linearly extending upper portion 13a1 of the body 13 from the storage space S toward the mouth 11. This more effectively prevents the contents from becoming difficult to flow from the storage space S toward the mouth 11, and more effectively reduces the amount of remaining contents.
[0039] The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and it goes without saying that various modifications can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention.
[0040] For example, in the above embodiment, the delaminated container 1 is formed by extrusion blow molding, but this is not limited to this, and it may be formed by other manufacturing methods, such as by biaxially stretching blow molding a preform that has been formed in advance into an approximately test tube shape having a laminated structure.
[0041] Furthermore, in the above embodiment, the outside air inlet 30 is a slit-shaped inlet provided in the bottom 12, but this is not limited to this, and as long as it is possible to introduce outside air between the outer layer 10 and the inner layer 20, its position, shape, number, etc. are not particularly limited, and it is possible to provide it in, for example, the mouth portion 11 or the body portion 13.
[0042] Furthermore, in the above embodiment, the applicator plug 50 is configured to be able to dispense the contents without squeezing the body 13, so no check valve is provided in the outside air inlet 30, but a check valve may be provided in the outside air inlet 30. With this configuration, the contents can be easily dispensed by squeezing the body 13.
[0043] Furthermore, in the above embodiment, only one adhesive strip 40 is provided on the side of the mouth portion 11 that is inclined relative to the central axis O1 of the mouth portion 11 and the axis O2 of the body portion 13, but the number of adhesive strips 40 can be changed in various ways as long as the adhesive strip 40 is provided at least on the side of the mouth portion 11 that is inclined relative to the central axis O1 of the mouth portion 11 and the axis O2 of the body portion 13. For example, as shown in Fig. 6, two adhesive strips 40 may be provided on the side of the mouth portion 11 that is inclined relative to the central axis O1 of the mouth portion 11 and the axis O2 of the body portion 13, with the central axis O1 and the axis O2 sandwiched between them in a front view. In this case, the spacing between adjacent adhesive strips 40 is preferably set to an extent that the portion of the inner layer body 20 between adjacent adhesive strips 40 does not peel off from the outer layer body 10.
[0044] Furthermore, in the above embodiment, only one adhesive band 40 is provided on the side of the mouth 11 that is inclined relative to the central axis O1 of the mouth 11 and the axis O2 of the body 13. However, as shown in Figure 7, an adhesive band 40 may be provided on the side of the mouth 11 that is inclined relative to the central axis O1 of the mouth 11 and the axis O2 of the body 13, as well as on the side opposite to the side of the mouth 11 that is inclined relative to the central axis O1 of the mouth 11 and the axis O2 of the body 13. This configuration can also achieve the same effects as above, and can more accurately control the volume reduction deformation of the inner layer body 20 or peeling from the outer layer body 10 due to the discharge of the contents, thereby more effectively reducing the amount of remaining contents. Furthermore, even in this configuration, multiple adhesive bands 40 may be provided on each of the side of the mouth 11 that is inclined relative to the central axis O1 of the mouth 11 and the axis O2 of the body 13 and the side opposite to the side of the mouth 11 that is inclined.
[0045] Furthermore, in the above embodiment, the application plug 50 having the configuration shown in Fig. 5 is attached to the mouth 11 of the delaminating container 1 to be used as the application container 60, but the configuration of the application plug 50 is not limited to that shown in Fig. 5 and can be modified in various ways. Also, instead of the application plug 50, a stopper or cap having a different configuration may be attached to the mouth 11 of the delaminating container 1.
