Abstract
Claims
OCR09WP30 / 01 / 25691. Suspension assembly comprising: load-bearing beam including the near end section terminated at the hinge; balancing universal joint assembly mounted on the load-bearing beam; base plate comprising: the distal section connected to the hinge, the near section, and the constriction section positioned between the distal and near sections, where the constriction section comprises lateral edges facing away from each other, where the lateral edges, distal section, and near section define the boundaries of the openings, with each lateral edge comprising a central projection of the constriction facing one of the openings; and each PZT actuator, positioned in one of the openings and mounted on the near and distal sections.2.The suspension assembly under claim 1 where the constriction section includes: the first width at the center of the constriction, the second width adjacent to the near section, the third width adjacent to the far section, and the first width being greater than the second and third widths.
3. The suspension assembly under claim 1 where each protruding bump is attached to one of the PZT actuators.
4. The suspension assembly under claim 1 where the far section includes the far edge facing away from the near section and where the far edge includes a notch.
5. The suspension assembly under claim 1 where the far section includes the far edge facing away from the near section and where the far edge includes two notches.
6. The suspension assembly under claim 5 where the far edge includes a protruding bump positioned between two notches. 7.
8. Suspended assembly according to claim 1 where the distal section consists of: the distal edge facing away from the near section; and thickness one, except for two thin sections of the distal section which have a thickness of two less than the thickness one, with the two thin sections laid along the distal edge.
9. Suspended assembly according to claim 1 where the distal section consists of: the distal edge facing away from the near section; and thickness one, except for two thin sections of the distal section which have a thickness of two less than the thickness one, with the two thin sections laid along the distal edge.
10. Suspended assembly according to claim 9 where the thin sections are laid along the center of the distal edge. 11.The suspension assembly consists of a load-bearing beam, including the near end section that terminates at the hinge; a balancing, all-round connector assembly mounted on the load-bearing beam; and a base plate, which includes: the distal section connected to the hinge, the near section, and a narrowing section positioned between the distal and near sections, where the narrowing section incorporates side edges facing away from each other, and where the side edges, distal section, and near section define the boundaries of the opening, with the distal section including the side edge.
11. The distal edge facing away from the near side, where the distal edge includes a notch; and each PZT actuator which is positioned in one of the openings and mounted to the near and distal sides.
12. The suspension assembly according to claim 11, where the neck has uniform width.
13. The suspension assembly according to claim 11, where the side edges are straight.
14. The suspension assembly according to claim 11, where the distal edge terminates at two sharp angles.
15. The suspension assembly according to claim 14, where the notch is positioned between two sharp angles. 16.A suspension assembly under claim 11 where the far side has a width of one; the near side has a width of two; and the width of one is less than the width of the second.
17. A suspension assembly under claim 14 where the far side has a width of one; the near side has a width of two; and the width of one is less than the width of the second.
