Abstract
Claims
OCR07AP1. A vehicle-mounted system comprising more than one display device, consisting of a primary and secondary display device, and a message processing unit configured to output messages through more than one display device. The message processing unit includes a controller configured to make decisions based on sensor detection values; when the vehicle is stopped, it sends a command to display content on the primary display device; when the vehicle is stopped, it makes decisions based on sensor detection values; when the vehicle has started moving, it sends a command to display content on the secondary display device in response to the vehicle's activation.2.
1. A system for processing information to control more than one display device, including a first and a second display device, where the system includes a controller configured to output information in response to the start of a vehicle's operation to display the first content shown on the first display device while the vehicle is stopped on the second display device.
3. A system for processing information under claim 2 where the controller is configured to perform the additional action of stopping the display of the first content on the first display device in response to an output message for display on the second display device.

A system for processing information under claim 2 where the first display device includes a touch panel, and the controller is further configured to not accept input given to the touch panel of the first display device in response to an output message for display on the second display device. 5.The information processing unit under claim 2, whereby the controller sends commands as output to display the first content, which is displayed on the second display on the first display when the vehicle is stopped, in response to user input while the vehicle is stopped.

The information processing unit under claim 2, whereby the second display includes each unit of a pair of display units which are positioned in front of the driver's seat in the passenger compartment, positioned on either side of the steering wheel while extending towards the rear of the instrument cluster display which is positioned in front of the steering wheel and has a touch panel, and the first display is one of the central display units which is positioned closer to the center of the vehicle in the direction of the width of the vehicle than the pair of display units and the instrument cluster display. 7.A vehicle-mounted system comprising more than one display device, consisting of a first and second display device, and a message processing unit configured to output messages through more than one display device, where the message processing unit includes a controller configured to output messages in response to the vehicle's activation, displaying the first content on the first display device while the vehicle is stopped on the second display device.
8. A vehicle-mounted system under claim 7 where the controller is configured to perform additional action to stop displaying the first content on the first display device in response to an output message for display on the second display device. 9.

A system installed in a vehicle under claim 7 where the first display unit, comprising a touch panel and controller, is further configured to not accept input given to the first display unit's touch panel, but responds by sending a message as an output to be displayed on the second display unit.

A system installed in a vehicle under claim 7 where the controller sends a command as an output to display the first content, which is displayed on the second display unit, on the first display unit when the vehicle is stopped, in response to user input while the vehicle is stopped.The system installed in the vehicle under claim 7 whereby the second display unit shall include each of a pair of display units which are provided in the section in front of the driver's seat in the passenger compartment, positioned on either side of the steering wheel while extending toward the rear of the instrument display unit which is provided in front of the steering wheel and has a touch panel and the first display unit is one of the central display units which is provided closer to the center of the vehicle in the direction of the width of the vehicle than the pair of display units and the instrument display unit;
