Abstract

This invention relates to a method of extracting substances from herbal formulations in order to obtain herbal extracts. High phenolic compounds can be extracted using various methods, including maceration and ultrasonic extraction. Ultrasound-assisted extraction, microwave-assisted extraction, or reflux method. (Reflux) Under the devised conditions, using a solvent such as ethanol, isopropanol, or water, until the desired state is achieved. Herbal extract formulations with high phenolic content.

Claims

1. Extraction process for herbal formulas containing high amounts of olic acid, including: Step 1: Preparing the ingredients. Gather parts of six herbs: Streblus asper seeds, and the bark of the Terminalia chebula tree. The bark of the Terminalia chebula tree, the stems of Tinospora cordifolia, black peppercorns, and the tubers of Cyperus rotundus are cleaned and dried at a temperature of 50°C. Dry at 65 degrees Celsius until completely dry, then grind into smaller pieces to obtain dry herbal powder of each type. Step 2: Mix each type of herbal powder from Step 1 together. Step 3: Extraction. This involves adding a solvent to the herbal powder obtained from Step 2. Choose either ethanol, isopropanol, or water, in the ratio of herbal powder (grams) to each ingredient. The solvent ratio (in milliliters) ranges from 1:2 to 1:20, and the mixture is then extracted using one of several methods. These can be selected from extraction methods such as fermentation, microwave extraction, ultrasonic extraction, and... Extracted using the reflux method. Step 4: Dry the herbal extract solution obtained from Step 3 by evaporating it using an evaporator. Dry under vacuum (evaporator) at a temperature of 50-65 degrees Celsius until a crude extract of the formula is obtained. Herbal extracts containing high amounts of phenolic compounds.

2. A method for extracting herbal formulations containing high amounts of olic acid, as per claim 1, which is capable of... Additionally, Step 5 involves analyzing the phenolic content of the obtained extract using Folinciocal II reagent. (Folin Ciocalteu reagent) 3. The method for extracting herbal formulations containing high amounts of phenolic compounds, as per claim 1, in which step...

2. Mixing the herbal powders in the ratio of Streblus asper seeds to Terminalia chebula bark to Terminalia bellirica bark. The ratio of bitter gourd to black peppercorns to wild yam is 0.5 to 6, then to 0.5 to 6, then to 0.5 to 6, then to 0.

5. Up to 6 to 0.5 to 6 to 0.5 to 6 4. A method for extracting herbal formulations containing high amounts of olic compounds, as per claim 1 or 3, which in... Step 3: Extraction of the substance using the fermentation method. This is done by placing the mixture into a shaker at a speed equal to... 250-550 revolutions per minute for 12-48 hours at a temperature of 20-40 degrees Celsius. After the specified time, filter the mixture. Collect only the solution and store it. Repeat the extraction process with the remaining herbal residue using the same method 2-6 times. This will yield... A brown-colored solution of herbal extract.

5. Extraction methods for herbal formulations containing high amounts of phenolic compounds, as per claim 1 or 3, which in... Step 3: Extraction using the microwave method. This is done by placing the mixture in a microwave oven for a specified time. 1-4 minutes using a power of 300-800 watts. Once the time is up, filter to obtain only the solution and store it. The remaining herbal residue is extracted again using the same method 2-6 times, resulting in a solution of the herbal extract. It appears as a brown solution.

6. Extraction methods for herbal formulations containing high amounts of phenolic compounds, as per claim 1 or 3, which in... Step 3: Ultrasonic extraction. This is done by placing the mixture into a sonicator. At a frequency of 37-80 kHz for 20-50 minutes at a temperature of 20-60 degrees Celsius, after the specified time, take... Filter the solution and keep it aside. Repeat the extraction process with the remaining herbal residue using the same method 2-6 times. The resulting herbal extract solution will be a brown-colored solution.

7. Methods for extracting herbal formulations containing high amounts of phenolic compounds, as per claim 1 or 3, which in... Step 3: Extraction using the reflux method. This is done by placing the mixture into a reflux extractor. Heat at 70-100 degrees Celsius for 20-40 minutes. After the time is up, filter to obtain only the solution. Store the remaining herbal residue and repeat the extraction process using the same method 2-6 times to obtain the extract solution. Herbal remedy in the form of a brown solution.
