Claims
OCR Claim 1: A method for producing biodiesel from engine oil in tilapia, consisting of the following steps: As follows:
1. Step 1: Extracting oil from tilapia offal. A. Grind the tilapia offal using a blender at a speed of 18,000 revolutions per minute. Duration: 30 seconds B. Mix the tilapia offal (from step A) with water in a ratio of 1 to 5 (weight to volume). Stirring at a speed of 250 revolutions per minute for 60 minutes at a temperature of 80 degrees Celsius. C. Filter the mixture through cheesecloth and centrifuge at a speed of 20,000 revolutions per minute. The temperature was 28 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes. d. Take the top portion obtained (from step c) and bake it in a hot air oven at 105 degrees Celsius. The evaporation process takes 60 minutes to remove water, resulting in oil extracted from the tilapia offal.
2. Step 2: The process of producing biodiesel from engine oil in tilapia. A. Biodiesel is produced by combining oil from tilapia offal and methanol in a ratio of oil to methanol.
