Abstract

------08 / 01 / 2569------(OCR) OCR 09WP This invention is a development of a granulated formulation and manufacturing process for controlling mosquito larvae, specifically Bacillus thuringiensis serotype israelensis (Bti). The granules are round and flat, with a diameter of 1.8 centimeters and a weight of 1 gram per granule. The mixture consists of 0.2 kilograms of Bacillus thuringiensis serotype israelensis (Bti), 3.425 kilograms of lactose monohydrate, 0.05 kilograms of microcrystalline cellulose, and magnesium stearate. (Magnesium Stearate) in the amount of 0.075 kilograms and Polyvinylpyrrolidone K90 in the amount of 1.25 kilograms. The manufacturing process is as follows: All ingredients except the larvicide bacteria Bacillus thuringiensis serotype israelensis (Bti) are dried in a hot oven at 40 degrees Celsius for 24 hours to remove moisture and ensure uniform dryness of the mixture. The mixture is then combined with the prepared Bacillus thuringiensis serotype israelensis (Bti) larvicide bacteria. The resulting mixture is then placed in a single-head tablet press to produce compressed tablets of the Bacillus thuringiensis serotype israelensis (Bti) larvicide formula. This product, made from Bacillus thuringiensis serotype israelensis (Bti) larvicide, is convenient to use, maintains its effectiveness in eliminating mosquito larvae, and remains effective for 3-4 weeks after application. It is placed in water containers in homes, which are breeding grounds for mosquitoes, to help control mosquito-borne diseases in Thailand, including dengue fever, chikungunya, and Zika fever.

Claims

------08 / 01 / 2569------(OCR) OCR 09WP1. The formula for larvicide containing Bacillus thuringiensis serotype israelensis (Bti) in tablet form, contains the following ingredients: 1.1 Bacillus thuringiensis serotype israelensis (Bti) 4.0% by weight; 1.2 Lactose Monohydrate 68.5% by weight; 1.3 Microcrystalline Cellulose 1.0% by weight; 1.4 Magnesium Stearate 1.5% by weight; 1.5 Polyvinylpyrrolidone K90 25.0% by weight.

2. Manufacturing Process. The granulated formulation of Bacillus thuringiensis serotype israelensis (Bti) larvicide, as per claim 1, involves the following steps: a. The mixture includes 3.425 kg of lactose monohydrate, 0.05 kg of microcrystalline cellulose, and 0.05 kg of magnesium stearate.0.75 kg and 1.25 kg of Polyvinylpyrrolidone K90 were dried in a hot oven at 40 degrees Celsius for 24 hours to remove moisture and ensure uniform dryness of the mixture. Next, 0.2 kg of powdered Bacillus thuringiensis serotype israelensis (Bti), obtained through culture and purity testing based on specific colony characteristics on the culture medium, was mixed with 3.425 kg of Lactose Monohydrate, 0.05 kg of Microcrystalline Cellulose, 0.075 kg of Magnesium Stearate, and... Polyvinylpyrrolidone K90, 1.25 kilograms, was mixed using a 10-kilogram cube mixer for 30 minutes.Afterward, the mixture is placed into a single-head tablet press. The press is adjusted to produce tablets weighing 1 gram each. The resulting tablets are round and flat, with a diameter of 1.8 centimeters.
