Abstract
Claims
------17 / 10 / 2568------(OCR) OCR 10KL1. Biodegradable polyester composition consisting of: - Polyester in the range of 58-90 percent by weight of the total composition - Thermoplastic starch in the range of 5-35 percent by weight of the total composition - Copolymer in the range of 0.1-1 percent by weight of the total composition and - Additives and fillers in the range of 0.4-11 percent by weight of the total composition. Specifically, the polyester contains polylactic acid in the range of 13-20 percent by weight of the total composition and polybutylene adipate terephthalate in the range of 45-70 percent by weight of the total composition.
2. Biodegradable polyester composition. Under claim 1, the copolymer contains an epoxy group and is based on styrene, acrylate, or methacrylate.3.
1. Biodegradable polyester composition pursuant to claim paragraph 2 where the copolymer is glycidyl methacrylate or vinyl acetate.
2. Biodegradable polyester composition pursuant to claim paragraph 1 where the additives are selectable from the group of slip agents, anti-blocking agents, anti-static agents, anti-microbial agents, pigments or mixtures thereof.
3. Biodegradable polyester composition pursuant to claim paragraph 4 where the slip agent is selectable from the group of erucamide, oleamide, glyceryl monostearate or mixtures thereof.
4. Biodegradable polyester composition pursuant to claim paragraph 4 where the anti-blocking agent is silicon dioxide. 5.Biodegradable polyester composition, pursuant to claim 1, whereby the filler is an inorganic filler of choice from the group of calcium carbonate, talcum, clay, or a mixture thereof. ------------ ------22 / 05 / 2568------(OCR) OCR 10KL1. Biodegradable polyester composition consisting of: - Polyester in the range of 58-90 percent by weight of the total composition; - Thermoplastic starch in the range of 5-35 percent by weight of the total composition; - Copolymer in the range of 0.1-1 percent by weight of the total composition; and - Additives and fillers in the range of 0.4-11 percent by weight of the total composition. Specifically, the polyester contains polylactic acid in the range of 5-20 percent by weight of the total composition and polybutylene adipate terephthalate in the range of 40-70 percent by weight of the total composition.
