OCR 09WP 23 / 02 / 2569 This invention proposes a process for producing andrographolide from Andrographis paniculata plants grown using soilless techniques. The process involves taking the entire Andrographis paniculata plant, including the roots, grown using a soilless technique, and grinding it into a powder to extract andrographolide using an α-method. Tanasol was used as a solvent, and the ethanol was separated out. The concentrated solution extracted from Andrographis paniculata was then crystallized. Dryed using freeze-drying technique (freeze dehydration).

OCR 09WP 23 / 02 / 2569 1. The process of producing andrographolide from Andrographis paniculata grown using soilless techniques involves the following steps: a. Drying and preparing the Andrographis paniculata plants for extraction by washing the Andrographis paniculata with water. Clean thoroughly, hang to drain in the shade, then sun-dry or oven-dry at 50-60 degrees Celsius. Until the weight stabilizes and the moisture content does not exceed 5 percent, it takes 65-72 hours, then it is coarsely ground. The crushed Andrographis paniculata leaves have a particle size of 0.5-2 millimeters. At this stage, the Andrographis paniculata powder is obtained. B. Weigh the Andrographis paniculata powder obtained from step A. Add 95% ethanol at a ratio of 1:6.
