Abstract

------17 / 04 / 2569------(OCR) OCR 09WP The concealed hinge damping unit described in this invention is a device for installation with furniture doors. One unit per door consists of a base frame (1), a spring assembly (2), a friction unit (7), a push arm (15), a leaf spring (22), a shock absorber (20), a brake assembly (23), and a mounting shaft (27). These components are arranged and connected as a single mechanical system, with the spring assembly (2) connected to the friction unit (7) and the mounting shaft (27) in a way that creates rotational motion, while the push arm (15) is connected to the shock absorber (20) and the leaf spring (22) to create linear motion, and the brake assembly (23) supports the spring assembly (2) within the base frame (1). The arrangement and connection of these components create a relative motion between the rotating and sliding parts of the damping unit, allowing for control of the door's movement both when open and closed.

------17 / 04 / 2569------(OCR) OCR 09WP1. The damping assembly for a concealed hinge consists of a base frame (1), a spring assembly (2) mounted on the base frame (1), a friction assembly (7), a push arm (15), a shock absorber (20), a leaf spring assembly (22), a brake assembly (23), and a mounting rod (27). It is characterized by the friction assembly (7) being connected to the spring assembly (2) and the mounting rod (27) and consisting of at least two friction plates in contact. The push arm (15) is a long rod with one end (16) having a square cross-section and the other end (17) having an beveled end. At one end there is a pivot point (18) for connecting to the base frame (1) and a connection point (19) for connecting to the shock absorber (20). The shock absorber (20) is connected to the push arm (15). The leaf spring assembly (22) is mounted under the push arm (15) and is in the form of a spring plate. The brake assembly (23) is mounted on the base frame (1) and has a receiver (24). The various components are arranged and connected to create a relative motion between the rotating and sliding parts of the damping assembly.2.A concealed hinge damper assembly under Presumption 1, where the spring assembly (2) consists of a spring rod (3) which is a solid cylindrical rod and has one end connected to the pivot point (4) and the other end connected to the friction assembly (7); the pivot point (4) which is attached to the base frame (1); the primary spring (5) and secondary spring (6) which are coiled springs and are arranged around the spring rod (3), with the primary spring (5) and secondary spring (6) having different diameters.

3. A concealed hinge damper assembly under Presumption 1 or 2, where the friction assembly (7) consists of a socket (8) which is a circular cross-section, where the edge of the socket (8) has at least two symmetrically arranged grooves (9) forming a shoulder (10) at the edge of the grooves (9), and a shaft (11) is located at the center of a stationary friction plate (12) which is a circular plate and attached to the shaft. (11) and a movable friction plate (13) which is circular in shape and has projections (14) at the edges, with the projections (14) being positioned to contact the shoulder (10)4.A concealed hinge damping assembly under any one of claims 1 through 3 where the bevel end of the push arm (15) is at a 20 degree angle to the X-axis.

5. A concealed hinge damping assembly under any one of claims 1 through 4 where the shock absorber is selectable as single or dual.

6. A concealed hinge damping assembly under any one of claims 1 through 5 where the brake assembly (23) is cylindrical in shape, contains a spring, and has a receiver (24) to support the spring rod and a stopper (25) which is a cylindrical rod with one end having a shoulder (26) larger than the diameter of the stopper (25) to limit the movement of the brake assembly (23).

7. A concealed hinge damping assembly under any one of claims 1 through 6 where the leaf spring assembly (22) pushes the push arm (15) downward at a 30 degree angle to the X-axis to receive the spring assembly (2).
