------27 / 02 / 2026------(OCR) OCR 09WP 1. The manufacturing process for a liquid wound dressing encapsulated with betel leaf extract for antibacterial properties involves the following steps: A. Prepare the betel leaf extract by washing fresh betel leaves thoroughly and then drying them in a heat dryer. At a temperature of 60 degrees Celsius for 1 hour, it was ground into a powder using a mortar and pestle, and then the substances were extracted from it. Betel leaves were preserved using the maceration method in 75% ethanol, employing a specific ratio of betel leaf powder. The ratio of ethanol to ethanol is 1:175 by weight. Heat the mixture using a hotplate. (magnetic stirrer) at 70 degrees Celsius for 2 hours, then filtered using a filtration method. Vacuum extraction will yield betel leaf extract. B. Prepare a liquid polyvinyl butyral wound dressing mixed with glycerin, using ethanol as a solvent. A mixture of 15% by weight polyvinylbutyral and 1% by weight glycerin was used. Heat the substance using a hotplate magnetic stirrer to a temperature of 50 degrees Celsius. Stir at 400 rpm for 1 hour and 30 minutes, then allow the solution to reach a temperature of... The mixture is homogeneous and air bubbles are reduced by vibration under sound waves (sonication) at a frequency of 40 kilohertz. After 30 minutes, it will become a liquid wound dressing. C. Prepare a liquid wound dressing to encapsulate the betel leaf extract, using the liquid dressing obtained in step B. It consists of 15% by weight of polyvinylbutyral and 1% by weight of glycerin. Weigh the ingredients and mix with the betel leaf extract obtained from step A at a concentration of 0.5 grams per milliliter. Heat the mixture. A hotplate magnetic stirrer is used to stir a substance at a temperature of 50 degrees Celsius. At a speed of 400 revolutions per minute for 2 hours, then homogenize the solution and reduce it. Air bubbles are vibrated under sound waves at a frequency of 40 kHz for 30 minutes to obtain a wound dressing material. Liquid encapsulation of betel leaf extract. ------------
