Claims

1. Recipe for an antioxidant betel leaf essential oil spray. The essential oil extracted from betel leaves contains 94.5-99.0 percent essential oil by volume. Perfume 0.5-1.0 percent by weight.

2. The process for producing essential oil extract spray from betel leaves. (a) Take the remaining betel leaves, cut off any damaged parts, wash them thoroughly, and let them dry at room temperature. (b) Place the palm leaves from (a) into the steam distillation apparatus. (c) The liquid obtained from distillation in item (b) is separated into two layers, the top layer being essential oil. The bottom layer will be the hydrosol, an extract of essential oils. These two layers are separated using a separating funnel. (d) The essential oil obtained from (c) should be stored in a dark glass bottle at room temperature for continued use as an ingredient in cosmetics.
