Abstract

------21 / 04 / 2569------(OCR) OCR 09WP The DPC model learning card game is designed to develop learning skills in controlling disease-carrying mosquitoes. It consists of two sets of cards: a set of problem cards focusing on disease-carrying mosquitoes, and a set of problem-solving cards focusing on the prevention and control of disease-carrying mosquitoes. Set 1, the problem-solving cards, show details of disease-carrying mosquitoes and a short biological explanation that links to control methods. Set 2, the problem-solving cards, show details of prevention and control methods and short, important explanations that link to appropriate prevention and control of that specific mosquito species.

------21 / 04 / 2569------(OCR) OCR 09WP1. The DPC model learning game cards to develop learning skills in mosquito vector control consist of two sets of cards: the mosquito vector problem cards (1) and the mosquito vector prevention and control problem cards (6), which have the following characteristics: a. The first set of cards, the mosquito vector problem cards (1), are rectangular cards measuring 7 cm wide and 12 cm long. On one side of each card is an image (2) of a mosquito vector that occupies approximately two-thirds of the card area, and the scientific name of that mosquito species is stated in a text box below the image of the mosquito vector, with the largest font size in the text box (3). Below that is an indication of what type of disease vector it is (4). The images of the chosen mosquito species are those that are of medical and public health importance. Further down the line is a short, important biological description (5) that links to species-specific control of mosquitoes. The second set of cards, the Vector Prevention and Control Card, which is a set of problem-solving cards (6), consists of rectangular cards measuring 7 cm wide and 12 cm long. On one side of each card is an image (7) of a vector mosquito relevant to vector prevention and control, with the image (7) occupying two-thirds of the card's surface, and the prevention and control guidelines are indicated on the card as text (8) in a text box below the image. Below this is a short explanation of important prevention and control (9) that links to the prevention and control appropriate for that particular mosquito species.
