Abstract
The uterine manipulator, designed for effective uterine guidance during laparoscopic hysterectomy, consists of six parts: a single, integrated structure with an angled intracavitary shaft and screw-driven main shaft; a grooved cervical cap; two cone-shaped silicone valves to completely prevent gas leakage; a handle to facilitate power transmission; and a handle fixing screw. The grooved cervical cap features access and viewing windows, allowing for easy and rapid cervical placement. The grooved structure and screw-driven main shaft allow for the replacement of the cervical cap with a new one for each patient, while the other parts can be sterilized, thus reducing the cost of the manipulator at the patient's bedside. Thanks to the cervical suture fixation arms, the specimen is prevented from falling into the abdomen at the end of the operation, facilitating its removal via the vaginal route; its simple structure allows for easy and quick setup; it minimizes instrument failures during use and eliminates the need for experience.
