COMPACT BROADBAND PLANAR MONOPOLISTIC ANTENNA

Abstract

This invention relates to a planar monopole antenna (1) with a coherent radiation pattern, broadband and small size compared to the largest wavelength within the bandwidth, and low voltage standing wave ratio.The subject of the invention is a planar monopole antenna (1); a ground plane (2), a coupling element (3) connected to the ground plane (2) to transmit radio frequencies, a substrate (4) positioned on the ground plane (2) in a direction almost perpendicular to the ground plane (2) and containing a front surface (41) and a back surface (42), a radiating pattern (5) containing numerous conductive surfaces etched on the front (41) and back (42) surfaces of the substrate (4) to emit radio frequencies, and a ground line (6) made of a conductive material etched on the front (41) and back (42) surfaces of the substrate (4), first inductors (7) arranged as a collective circuit element between the radiating pattern (5) and the ground line (6) on the front (41) surface of the substrate (4); resistors (8) and second inductors (9) arranged as a collective circuit element between at least some of the conductive surfaces in the radiating pattern (5).
