DOUBLE-TIER BARBECUE GRILL

Abstract

This invention relates to a two-tier grill(1) structure used in grills and similar cooking appliances, and its feature is that it consists of a lower grill(2) which, when placed on the grill during use, forms the lower tier of the two-tier grill(1) and contains a series of grease groove profiles(2.1) of equal length, spaced apart, which have grooves to allow grease collection and grease drainage; and a series of food placement profiles(3.1) which, when placed on the grill during use, forms the upper tier of the two-tier grill(1) and has a shape that allows food to be placed on top and the grease from the food to drain into the grooves of the grease groove profiles(2.1) during cooking, each of equal length to the grease groove profiles(2.1) and spaced apart to match the gaps between the grease groove profiles(2.1) on the lower grill(2) during use.1) The top grid(3) contains pins(5) which can be located on the bottom grid(2) or on the top grid(3) and enable the two grids to be mounted and separated in the correct position to each other.
