Abstract
This invention comprises a base (2) on which a cylindrical fiber optic winding (S), used in fiber optic turn gauges, is positioned for mounting onto a spool (M), a pooling piece (3) surrounding the spool (M) and positioned on the base (2), a gap (31) between the pooling piece (3) and the spool (M), an electrically insulating adhesive filling the gap (31) and making contact with a subsurface of the fiber optic winding (S), and a winding alignment piece (5) with a cylindrical shape positioned on the spool (M) preferably with fasteners and positioned between the fiber optic winding (S) and the spool (M) to prevent the fiber optic winding (S) from touching the spool (M).It includes a mounting fixture (1) characterized by a perpendicularity piece (4) which is connected to the winding alignment piece (5) with fasteners so that the center axes of the coil (M) and the fiber optic winding (S) are concentric.
