Abstract

The present invention describes a cooling device (1) comprising a housing (4) which has an upper wall (5) located on the far side of the floor on which the device sits and provided in a plane essentially parallel to the floor, and arranged to define at least one storage compartment (2); at least one door (3) located on a front side (46) of the device, arranged to selectively cover an access opening of the storage compartment (2); and a carrier tray arrangement (7) which is located on an outer surface (6) of the upper wall (5) and contains at least one control unit (13) which is configured to control at least one function of the device.The carrier tray arrangement (7) in the cooling device (1) is arranged in such a way that it can be switched between a first case where it can be moved freely towards the front (46) on the outer surface of the wall (6) and a second case where it can be connected to a detachable-connecting wall (14) provided in a part of the upper wall (5) near the front (46) and structured in such a way that it is essentially perpendicular to the upper wall (5).
