Abstract
This invention relates to a cord clamp made of biocompatible material, used for the sterile and safe clamping of the neonatal umbilical cord after birth, with both clamping and cutting functions, used to prevent bleeding and securely close the cord following the cutting of the umbilical cord of the baby during delivery. Its features include: an upper elliptical or upper cylindrical section (1.1) with numerous claws (1.1.1), an upper spherical section designed in shell form (hollow) (1.2), and an upper body (1) containing at least one claw (1.3) formed on the outer walls of these sections; a lower elliptical or lower cylindrical section (2.1) with numerous claws (2.1.1), a lower spherical section designed in shell form (hollow) (2.2), and an upper body containing at least one claw (2.3) formed on the outer walls of these sections.3) It has a lower body (2), a hinge (3) that connects the upper body (1) and the lower body (2) and enables them to move angularly relative to each other and provides an opening and closing function, and a cutting device (4) that is connected via a mounting channel (4.1) created on the upper body (1) or the lower body (2).
