Abstract

The invention relates to polymer composite reinforcement structures and their manufacturing method, created by integrating gyroid and similar hollow cross-sectional structures, commonly used in industry, into fiber-reinforced polymer matrix composite materials. This manufacturing method, based on the extraction of monofilament yarns with various cross-sectional geometries from within the fiber-reinforced polymer matrix composite material, allows for the direct formation of gyroid and similar hollow cross-sectional structures between composite fibers without the need for additional materials or manufacturing methods. From this perspective, all manufacturers producing composite materials and gyroid structures (aerospace, battery housings, wind turbines, construction, and automotive sectors) are directly relevant to the technical fields covered by our invention.
