Abstract

The present invention description describes an air-operated separator (04) and a sorting method for separating labels (200) from plastic sheets (100) or separating light impurities and dust such as film, paper, cloth, fiber and sponge, which solves the problems of low operating efficiency and poor air-flow sorting effect of similar devices currently on the market. A feed tray (02) is rectangular in shape. A primary feed opening (020) is located on one side of the upper wall of the feed tray (02) and a primary discharge opening (021) is located on one side of the side wall of the feed tray (02). The primary discharge opening (021) is inserted into a separator (04). The primary feed opening (020) of the feed tray (02) is connected to the lower part of a feed hopper (01). A triangular pyramid-shaped material dispensing plate (022) is mounted on the first feeding opening (020) on the feeding table (02).The separator (04) is mounted on one side of the main platform (12). The separator (04) contains a separator tube (040). The separator tube (040) is rectangular in shape and one side wall of the separator tube (040) is connected to a chute (041). The chute (041) contains a first inclined plate (0410) and a second inclined plate (0411) positioned to be aligned in the vertical direction. The first inclined plate (0410) has several first air vents (04100). A centrifugal fan (05) is mounted on the top of the separator tube (040) and the centrifugal fan (05) is connected to a cyclone separator (06) via a pipeline.
