Abstract
The invention relates to a modular powder molding system compatible with single and double-acting press systems that protect themselves by flexing during pressing, with elastomer or spring support, in order to prevent mold jamming, punch lock-up, mold bursting, and sample removal difficulties during the pressing of micron and nano-sized metal powders using powder metallurgy.
