Abstract

This invention is a waste sorting device developed for use in domestic and industrial kitchens, particularly for separating and drying liquids from tea leaves and vegetable and fruit waste. The invention consists of a main body, which can have any geometric shape, a strainer chamber placed inside this body, and a press system integrated onto the lid, operated by a pressure mechanism (spring-driven, piston-driven, etc.). When the user presses the mechanism on the lid, the pressure element moves downwards, compressing the waste within the strainer. The separated liquid collects in the cavity at the bottom of the chamber and is discharged through a discharge element (tap) on the body. Thus, waste is squeezed without manual handling, preventing odor and bacterial growth.
