Abstract
This invention is designed in the form of a smartphone case and incorporates a UV-C sterilization system that integrates with usage detection sensors and automatically activates only when the device is not in use. Microorganisms on the phone's surface are neutralized via UV-C LED modules embedded in the case's inner surface. The system determines the phone's usage status by evaluating data from motion, touch, and ambient light sensors via a microprocessor and performs the sterilization process accordingly. The invention ensures safe use with its insulation layer that prevents UV radiation from escaping to the outside environment, its lid detection mechanism, and its safety locking structure. Furthermore, the reflective structure on the inner surface of the case ensures homogeneous distribution of UV radiation, increasing sterilization efficiency. Energy management is achieved through a rechargeable battery and wireless charging system, offering a compact, portable, and user-involved hygiene solution.
